Heavenly Unbound: The System Maker! Chapter 67

Hengsheng explained to the Primordial Gods, who were still confused about why they had to stay here, and then Hengsheng gathered them all to assign them a new duty—to assist the Supreme Administrator in managing the world. "Do you know why this world is called the System World by me and the Supreme Administrator?" he asked. The dragon, the titan, and the other Primordials (if they had heads) shook in silence. Hengsheng continued. "This world was created to give birth to the concept of the system, not as a naturally created world. The knowledge you were born with and your primal instincts as Primordial Gods are inapplicable here. I expect you to adapt to suit this world." They were shocked by his words. These Primordial Gods had been born with the instinct and knowledge of their original duties, as assigned by the Mother Universe, yet now the System Maker was telling them that all they had been born with was unnecessary. "Beep. Sir System Maker, if what you say is true, then what is the purpose of our existence?" Logos, the machine-like Primordial God, spoke in its robotic voice, as the being of the Order. Its existence without purpose or duty was unacceptable. Hengsheng paused for a second before replying, "None." At his answer, the Primordials grew tense; they understood that they were now deemed unnecessary, and the instincts of the Primordial Gods told them that when they were no longer necessary their end was near—even though they were only a few days old and not ready to be erased from existence. "…Lord System Maker… are you going to erase our existence?" Morthus, the Grim Reaper, asked in a cold voice filled with worry. "No, I will not erase you," Hengsheng assured him. "Even though I don't need you as Primordial Gods in my world, you can still become something else. Become the system race—a powerful race, just like the Supreme Administrator." As Hengsheng spoke, some of the Primordials became excited—especially the dragon and the demon—since one of their primal instinct was to rule over the world, but such an action required overwhelming power which at first they thought of themself as the supreme power cause they are the Primordial Gods. Unfortunately for them, the moment they began their conquest to become the master of the universe and rule over their fellow Primordial Gods, the Supreme Administrator intervened and hit them hard with her overwhelming power. Now, the System Maker told them they could possess the same power as the Supreme Administrator. Drachroma turned its massive head to the Angelic Machina and smirked, thinking that they would soon be an equal match, ready for a revengeful confrontation. However, the next words from Hengsheng made the dragon hope that Blue would not notice its smirk. "But to become the system race and gain supreme power, you must meet certain requirements that you are not yet ready for. If you want to become the system race and gain a new purpose in life, then listen to the Supreme Administrator and do not cause any trouble that could halt the progress of this world." After that, Blue took charge of the Primordial Gods and assigned them a new job—one whose only purpose was to ensure the prosperity of the System World. Hengsheng looked at the Angelic Machina, so diligent, and wondered how he was going to reward his people. As a system race, her character was deeply linked to her system concept, so Blue should be happy to have more responsibilities to manage and control. [The Supreme Administrator System Panel] Administrator: Lan Hengsheng System Tier: Tier 3 - B [Upgrade requires 10,000 AP] System Functions: [System Administration], [Territory Management], [Quest], [Supreme Order], [Contract Control] Administrative Territory: System World [+550 AP/D], Lan Clan Cave [+2 AP/D] Administrator Points: 4514 AP Hengsheng noticed that the System World was now producing five times as many AP as when it first appeared. He was glad, as AP was a valuable currency. He decided to check how the AP was increasing by opening the [Territory Management] function. Massive data appeared before his eyes. If it were his real body, his brain would have struggled to process so much information, but within the System World, it was no problem. The System Panel displayed the status of his territories, including the number of residences and their basic information, available resources, the power level of the forces under his command, and many more statistics even the Qi Luck each territory possessed. Although the Luck Qi section was blank for the System World, he was surprised to see that the Lan Clan Cave actually possessed Qi Luck. Blue’s system classified it as Level 3 out of 10, which is above average. This means Lan Clan Cave will be doing fine without a major incident. He then discovered that the source of AP came from the overall performance of territory management; the more powerful and orderly his territory was, the more AP it granted per day. Hengsheng shook his head. If his System World were to stand at the same dimensional level as the cultivation world, he would have earned a billion or even a trillion AP per day. Unfortunately, his System World seemed so much small and weak compared to the world of Heavenly Dao. His eyes narrowed as he murmured, "Just for now." Hengsheng said goodbye to Blue, who was still doing her job as the Supreme Administrator, and then he reappeared in the world of stars. After a moment of thought, he officially named the two separate spaces with his supreme authority. He waved his hand and engraved the name "The Origin World" into the time-space of the world of stars, and then he did the same for the Divine World. As he did so, the effect was immediate—the names held power. In the Origin World, living beings that could not be born before due to the powerful aura of the Primordial Gods began to emerge visibly. At first, only microorganisms appeared, but they rapidly evolved into higher forms of life. Their origins varied depending on the environment in which they were born. On a planet filled with water, aquatic creatures sprang forth. On a planet similar to the sun—a world full of lava, yet with an aura of life—the Fire Dragon emerged from the lava floor and roared into the empty sky. Looking at the promising future of his system world, Hengsheng was quite proud of both himself and his creation. Hengsheng waved his hand again to impose a rule on the universe, preventing it from giving birth to any more Primordial Gods or other god-like entities—only mortals were allowed to emerge naturally. With nothing left for him to do inside the System World, Hengsheng reappeared on the Mar to look for Yunsu intended to take her and leave, but soon he found something strange. "Meow…", "Meowww…", "Meow?", "Nya?", "Nyaaaaaa!", "Growwww!" Hengsheng was stunned by the scene before him. Mar—the red planet similar to Earth—had completely transformed into a Planet of the Feline! And not just ordinary felines, but ones that walked on two legs! These humanoid bodies, with feline features such as fluffy fur, tails, claw-like hands, and feline heads, ranged in appearance from domestic cats to tigers, wearing shirts and pants like modern humans on the heart. More than a thousand humanoid felines were now pointing their paws at Hengsheng, who floated above the ground. Their faces showed shock and panic, for they had never seen a real human before; they had only heard stories of the legendary humans from the tale of the Great Servant. Hengsheng read their minds and could not help but shake his head. It seemed that when Yunsu possessed the power of the origin energy, she had abused it to such an extent that she isolated the entire planet, speeding up time within it for many years and creating a Felinari race in her image—blending her feline nature with the modern human culture she had learned about in the simulation—and then forcing these beings to serve her like a God Queen. Hengsheng erased their memory of him, then reappeared above a massive mountain castle. Inside, Yunsu sat on a throne with her belly exposed, attended by more than ten Felinari, each about two meters tall, who served her by feeding her fruit and massaging her cat shoulders. Her expression was as relaxed as any cat's could be. But soon her ears twitched and her eyes widened as she sensed Hengsheng's presence. She immediately took a fighting stance and hissed at the sky, leaving her Felinari servants confused—they had never seen their God Queen act before. Hengsheng, watching from above, smirked at the rebellious kitten who had been corrupted by supreme power. He quickly rendered her powerless and then teleported her into his arms. The kitten struggled as hard as she could, but soon realized that using force was useless. Then she changed her strategy. "Meowww...?" she looked at Hengsheng with large, pleading eyes, hoping for mercy. "You can't do this, Yunsu," Hengsheng said, trying to harden his heart. "Mew..." she tried again, asking if she could stay here forever. "No, you must know that without true power, everything you possess here is an illusion," he replied. "Meow..." she cried out in defeat.
