The 12 Primordial Gods suddenly experienced immense pressure that they had never felt since they came into existence. Not even the Supreme Administrator could impose this kind of pressure on them. The immeasurable divine energy and the power of laws they were born with had now become powerless; they could not even control a tiny fraction of it to resist the pressure.
Hengsheng observed their pitiful attempts to resist his supreme presence. The Primordial Gods, who had been born alongside the Universe, now lay powerless on the floor of the white star—they were no different from mortals, if they did not even know what are mortals.
The humanoid and animal-like Primordial Gods crawled on the floor of the white star, succumbing to their own massive weight. The formless one and the cubing machine had completely stopped moving, as if they were dead, while only the tree and the serpent seemed unaffected; but it was only on the surface even their souls were struggling like those of the other Primordial Gods.
It took a while before Hengsheng decided to lower the pressure he had asserted on them, and in the next moment, the Primordial Gods began to feel their power return. They looked at Hengsheng with fear in their eyes.
Blue, who stood at the side, smirked at the cocky Primordial Gods as her master was teaching them a lesson.
"Now! You know your place—let’s start introducing yourselves to the true master of this world," Blue interrupted the Primordial Gods, who were still regaining their power and did not know how to react in front of Hengsheng. They began to exchange hesitant glances.
The dragon was the first to step forward and speak in human language.
"Greetings, Lord…" The dragon seemed unsure of what to call him, as if he had not paid attention when Blue mentioned his title.
"You can call me the System Maker," Hengsheng replied. The dragon looked puzzled by the title, as he did not understand what "the System" was.
"Greeting, Lord System Maker. I am Drachroma, the Primordial God of All Elements, and I welcome you," the dragon said in a deep voice reminiscent of that of a wise old man. Hengsheng knew that these Primordial Gods were only a few days old after the creation of the universe—far from mature. Hengsheng nodded in acceptance of Drachroma's polite greeting.
Other Primordial Gods began to come forward one by one to greet him, even if it was all just formalities, since he already knew their names and how they came to exist in this new universe at the moment he stepped into the System World with his omniscience.
These Primordial Gods were beings born automatically by the Law in the early universe. Their purpose was to accelerate the progression of the cosmos. Without them, the first life forms would have taken more than a trillion years to emerge naturally after the universe was created.
They also did not usually have a good ending; when their work was done, the Universe would deem them unnecessary and a threat to other life forms. Then fate and destiny would try to get rid of them, either by the rise of a new God or through a great calamity.
One by one, the Primordial Gods came to greet him. Hengsheng recalled their names, thinking of them as his new residents in his System world—similar to Blue.
The tree-like entity was Erdan, the Primordial God of Life and Nature; the grim reaper called himself Morthus, the Primordial God of Death and Soul; the twin titans were Celion and Chronos, representing the Primordial Gods of Space and Time, respectively.
Next came a female, 12-winged angel named Auriel, the Primordial God of Creation, followed by a fearsome, bulky demon named Diaboros, the Primordial God of Destruction—this being seemed to worship Hengsheng because of his overwhelming power.
A formless entity, unable to speak like the others, communicated through a soul language instead; it was Kaos, the Primordial God of Chaos. Then a cube-shaped machine with a robotic voice introduced itself as Logos, the Primordial God of Order—a being that, like Diaboros, appeared to revere Blue for embodying perfection of the order, in its minds.
Following them was Arachne, a spider-like being named after the myth from Olympus on Earth, which gave Hengsheng chills because of this coincidence; she was the Primordial God of Fate and Destiny. Next came a purple-energy serpent named Eternus, the Primordial God of Infinity, and finally, a human named Balan, the Primordial God of Balance, who seemed curious about Hengsheng's human appearance, as it was the first time he had seen someone so similar to himself.
After the Primordial Gods had introduced themselves, Blue approached him.
"Master… Because of these Primordial Gods, the progression of the System World is halted for a while, so…" she began. Before she could continue, Hengsheng sent her a gesture, he already understood the problem.
The issue, as she mentioned, was that the aura of these Primordial Gods was harmful to the universe—it prevented normal life from being born, for any such life would collapse and die immediately due to the overwhelming aura. This problem was not truly the fault of the Primordial Gods but was caused by the universe's small size, which forced their auras to compress into a limited area and hinder the emergence of common life.
The problem could resolve itself if the universe were allowed to expand over a million years; then the Primordial Gods’ auras, spread thin across space-time, would no longer prevent natural life from emerging.
To fix this issue, Hengsheng separated the space-time of the universe into two. At the moment he decided to act, he raised his hand and split the world as easily as tearing a sheet of paper.
The Primordial Gods watching him from behind turned to horror, as his move exceeded what they were capable of. The System Maker did it effortlessly, and they watched in shock as Hengsheng reshaped space-time in a new.
Once the universe was separated into two dimensions, one of which was the same as before, the universe full of stars, Hengsheng brought everyone from the Source of the Origin into the new dimensional space. At first, it appeared as a white, endless expanse similar to the Mind Space, but as soon as the Primordial Gods stepped into it, the entire space slowly changed.
The space was changing according to the aura of Divine Energy and the Law one possessed. The space around Erdan began to transform into an endless divine forest landscape, full of life and nature, while the area around Drachroma turned into a mountain range of all elements.
As the transformation progressed, Hengsheng observed that these Primordial Gods seemed pleased with the new environment, as it was a perfectly designed space to their preferences.
"This is amazing, Master. What do you call this place?" Blue, standing by his side, marveled at the nature of this world. She could clearly see the Order of the space and understood that it was meant to house powerhouses who possessed Divine Energy, providing the ideal environment for them to comprehend the Law.
"I call it the Divine World. It will be used to separate normal life forms from god-tier beings, and this place also provides an opportunity to train a new system race. What do you think?" Hengsheng replied.
"That's a good idea, Master. It would be beneficial if the system race gained more experience before being sent out to fulfill their duty," she agreed.
"Master, if you don't mind, you could consider turning them into the system race. They are born with the pure mastery of their representative law, but unfortunately, they are already Tier 10 and can't improve themself or contribute anything further in the System World. It would be better to send them out," she added, looking at the clueless Primordial Gods, who still playing with their new environment.
Hengsheng considered Blue's proposal. It made sense—he had created Divine Energy to help beings here comprehend the Laws and gather their understanding into the Data to improve the power of the Source of the Origin. But these Primordial Gods, born with Tier 10 and natural ability to wield the Law, did not truly comprehend it; leaving them here would bring nothing to the System World.
"It is a good idea, but do not rush things. These guys are still young. Let them have a joyful time in this world. when they grow enough to know things better, Then you may approach them," Hengsheng said as he and Blue discussed the progress and next steps. At that moment, the Primordial God of Creation seemed to notice that they could not return to the world of stars.
"Lord System Maker... you lock us up here?" Auriel, the angel, asked with worry in her voice. As Primordial beings, their pride was in their essence; being submitted to others was already degrading. they could not help since the other side was the true owner of the universe, but treating them with disrespect was another thing, and they were unwilling to accept it.
Hengsheng read her mind and shook his head. "No, it is just temporary. Your true body will remain here until the universe is strong enough to hold your presence. However, you can send your avatar into the world of stars, provided the avatar is equal to or below Tier 7 in power."
