Despite following his instincts earlier, his efforts appeared fruitless in the real world if looked at with the naked eye. Even though he hadn’t enlightened Dao or gained the power of a Dao, he had awakened something deep within his Sea of Thoughts—his Dao Heart.
It is the Will to pursue one’s own path, it's the unshakable determination that defines a cultivator’s path. It is a force so resolute and intent that, when strong enough, it can influence and even reshape the Law of reality itself—the very foundation every cultivator needs if they seek to achieve Dao and attain immortality.

But Hengsheng was in no rush to test his Dao heart power on the monster. Instead, he focused on comprehending what had occurred earlier. The Heavenly Dao had given him a sample of the cultivation world's laws—the fundamental essence of all Laws in this world. Hengsheng chuckled, leaning closer. “Oh, what’s that look for? Don’t tell me you’re doubting me now.” He poked her nose lightly, earning a twitch of her ears. “I just had some insight into my Dao Heart. Nothing fancy, really.”
“Meow!” She batted his hand away with her paw, as if to say, Explain yourself better!
“Alright, alright,” he relented with a laugh. “Dao Heart’s just a human thing, okay? You wouldn’t get it. Spirit beasts like you don’t need it. You’ve got your bloodline and instincts to do all the work for you.”
“Meoooww,” she replied, puffing up her chest proudly, her tail flicking as if to say, Obviously.
“Ah, I see! So confident,” he teased, scratching behind her ears. “Fine, when your bloodline strengthens, your Dao Heart will probably be strong enough to knock down the heavens.”
“Meow,” she purred smugly, leaning into his touch, her eyes gleaming with playful arrogance.
He chuckled, gently petting her as her soft purr rewarded his affection. Hengsheng couldn't help but marvel at her simplicity. Animals, unlike humans, were pure and uncomplicated. They brought him a sense of safety—a rare comfort in the chaos of his cultivation journey.
Hengsheng played with Yunsu for a while, enjoying the moment of relaxation. Soon, his mind settled, and he felt ready to continue his journey. However, his first task was to get his Simulator System back online. It had always been the most effective and useful system he had created, and now, with the sample of the cultivation world's laws stored within his mind space, the systems he created would achieve 100% synchronization with the real world.
