An evolution challenge is normally bestowed upon by the Heavens itself, the current law keeper of the cosmos, the darling child of the Heavenly Tree, the path of evolution is different in different realms, every being has to do the same, even the ones born to the higher realm will at one point go through an evolution.
It was not just an evolution, it is a common way of gifting you a path to walk on, every being has a limit set upon, and to break that limit evolution and a path needs to be chosen, the path you chose determines your future, in normal cases, a single choice is given but to the talents of the cosmos their path varies.
The point here is that those born at the top might not know when their evolution might start, it is the small price they had to endure for having everything at birth, unlike the ones that have to climb from the bottom.
Each specific individual in the cosmos has its own limit of evolution but that specific number remains unknown, only when you reach the end will you know that you have hit a wall,

Xiao broadened over the choices, if he chose one then the whole of his body would change according to his evolution, it was a rebirth of the sort, and seeing the choices Xiao has, he was sure that his trial will be hell but even with all of these enticing choices Xiao's eyes always landed on an option not provided by the heavens.
