"He wouldn’t dare, he’s scared." Wang Lian laughed, her laughter full of satisfaction and relief.
Ever since facing Chen Guan, she had felt constantly suppressed, but now she had finally gained the upper hand.
Chen Guan, however, paid her no mind, his gaze fixed on the battling Qin Ziyu, as countless thoughts flashed through his mind.

"Isn’t that the case?" Gongsun Zhuo was puzzled, unaware of what Chen Guan meant, as anyone could see that Chen Guan was afraid of Wang Lian’s words and dared not give Qin Ziyu the capsule.
"Of course not. If I don’t give him the Spiritual Energy Capsule, we will die now; if I do, we might not. Who would be foolish enough to die now for an uncertain future?" Chen Guan replied.
Gongsun Zhuo considered this and agreed it would indeed be foolish, so he looked at Chen Guan curiously and asked, "Then why didn’t you give the Spiritual Energy Capsule to Qin Ziyu?"
Chen Guan said calmly, "Because I believe in Ziyu."
Gongsun Zhuo looked at Chen Guan, bewildered, not understanding what he meant.
Qin Ziyu was already on the brink of collapse, anyone could see that he was at the end of his strength, and believing in him was pointless.

Even the sword in his hand was imbued with that mysterious, compound color, its blade shimmering with an enchanting glow.
Qin Ziyu swung his sword heavenward, the bizarre Sword Aura severing the Water Burial Buddha’s fingers gripping the sword, the sword’s intent undiminished, the Sword Aura sweeping from the Water Burial Buddha’s chest to its head in a flash.
Maintaining his skyward sword stance, Qin Ziyu coldly watched as the Water Burial Buddha took a few steps back, a blood mark appearing across its head and chest, from which more and more blood seeped, until finally, the upper body split in two and collapsed to the ground.
Gongsun Zhuo and Wang Lian widened their eyes, unable to believe what they had witnessed.
