Fang Yi suddenly felt that his decision to take the train was correct. What he thought would be less boring with the bespectacled youth had now become even more engaging.
The train slowly started moving.
On the train, Fang Yi sat there without playing on his phone. He occasionally coughed due to a cold, his nose running, but he was prepared with tissues.
The woman beside him, initially playing a mobile game of Landlord, distanced herself after Fang Yi coughed a few times. She shot him a glance filled with evident disgust.
Fang Yi acted as if he hadn't noticed at all and smiled apologetically, "Sorry, caught a chill."
The woman retorted unhappily, "You shouldn't be spreading it to others, though."
Fang Yi said, "Terribly sorry, but it shouldn't be contagious... It's just your child is so young, I wonder if it's infectious. How old is your child?"
The woman was taken aback, clearly not expecting Fang Yi to ask this, then said, "What's it to you how old my child is? What's with all the questions?"
Fang Yi remained unfazed, laughing, "Ma'am, don't be upset. I'm just curious. Aren't you getting up there in age? Not worried about the toll on your body having a child so late?"
