Yao Bo chuckled dryly and said, "Brother Yi, this isn’t my doing; it’s all thanks to this big guy here."
Song Wuliang leaned over, hooked Fang Yi’s shoulder, and chuckled, "I call this ’beauty trap.’ See? I brought these beauties along. Hasn’t everyone perked up and trained better?"
Fang Yi took a sip from the bottle and asked, "Not bad, so what do you want as a reward?"
Song Wuliang laughed, "Haha, no need for a reward. We’re brothers now, aren’t we? Even if not, we’re two peas in a pod, helping each other out as we should."
Fang Yi eyed his exaggerated smile and remarked, "But I feel like there’s always a catch when things are too smooth."
Song Wuliang’s thick-skinned face remained unchanged as he grinned, "So here’s the deal. Lately, I don’t know if my old man has gone mad or what, but he’s insisting I join the army. I couldn’t dodge it, so I came to seek your help. Maybe you could talk with my old man?"
Fang Yi laughed, "You’re always idling about. It’s about time you toughened up."
