“Getting money is just the first step. My ultimate goal after getting the money is the same as yours, I also want to get an invitation to——”

The van skidded to a stop at the side of the road:

“Your daughter is dead too.”
Upon hearing ‘daughter’.
Big Face Cat’s expression instantly turned stern, half-doubting as he looked at Lin Xian, with a complex gaze:
“You also know about my daughter?”
“Your father was taking your daughter to school in the morning when they were run over by a truck.”
“Go to hell with school!”
Big Face Cat couldn’t take it anymore and burst out cursing:
“They were both hit and killed in the middle of the night!”
“Now I see, you’re just a scam artist! I can’t believe I fell for your nonsense!”
“What the hell is your purpose for luring me here? I swear I’ll shoot——”
Big Face Cat was furious!
His hand went to his waist to pull a gun, but found… nothing.
Lin Xian twirled the gun in his right hand, looking at Big Face Cat:
“Sorry, Brother Lian, it seems I misjudged you, you’re a lot more honest than I thought. Everything you said before didn’t deceive me at all, it’s my mistake for suspecting an honorable man.”

The answer was already clear.

The aim was to verify the truthfulness of Big Face Cat’s previous statements about the Genius Club and the murder of the father and daughter.

If Big Face Cat’s previously declared information regarding the Genius Club was all “fabricated.”
Then today’s Big Face Cat wouldn’t retain those memories and naturally wouldn’t be able to recall how he “fabricated” it in the previous dream.
If any detail Big Face Cat spoke of today differed from what he had said in the previous dream, then one could immediately conclude he was lying.
In such a leading situation, Big Face Cat still repeated the same story without a single detail amiss—
