After the young woman left and told me to wait for the "gentleman," I leaned back on the luxurious deck and looked at the starry night. He had paid two million dollars to deflower a woman, something I consider archaic. However, he is in no hurry to receive his "prize."
I thought about what he would be like physically and in terms of personality, something I had never considered before. I sat there thinking, observing the night, for an unknown amount of time. Despite the initial nervousness, I now felt calmer. Maybe, by luck, he had given up, and I wouldn't have to surrender myself to a repulsive stranger.
My hopes crumbled when I heard footsteps approaching, and anguish took hold of me. I thought it might be another crew member or even the previous young woman coming to tell me that the "gentleman" wouldn't come anymore.
However, as I turned towards the footsteps, I saw an extremely handsome man, but with the word "danger" written on his forehead in an obvious way.
I felt a chill, more out of fear than excitement, just from his penetrating gaze that seemed to undress me and left me speechless.
"I hope you're not upset by my delay," he spoke, and despite the words, he didn't seem to care in the least.
"I'm not," I said, maintaining a calm tone of voice, despite the sensations spreading through my body just from looking at that man.
"Great, then."
He tried to make a smirk that looked like a smile but without success. His assessing gaze revealed his satisfaction, and I felt a shiver run through my body.
How could I have intimacy with that man if just his gaze made me want to run away? He seemed dangerous, and my safety was at stake.
I looked around and realized that I wouldn't have the courage to go through with it. It was time to give up before it was too late.
"Thinking of giving up?" he asked as if he could read my thoughts.
"Yes," I confessed.
"It's already too late," he said, and his tone exuded a coldness that terrified me.
"I can't... I won't be able to!" I exclaimed, alarmed.
"Let's have dinner."
I looked incredulous. How did he expect us to carry on normally after I confessed my inability to continue? Before I could say anything, two waiters appeared, serving dinner. Reluctantly, I obeyed when he indicated for me to sit.
I knew I was at a disadvantage, trapped on a yacht with a cold and calculating man. Playing with danger wasn't an option. The best thing to do was to try to convince him that it wouldn't happen anymore, return his money, and perhaps even find someone else to fulfill his virgin fetish.

I looked at the beautiful girl in front of me, who seemed quite nervous if the constant movement of her legs under the table was any indication, but I felt no compassion for her whatsoever.
She could deceive someone unaware, someone who didn't know her like I did, even though I had never met her in person. Nevertheless, I knew more about her than many people in her circle. I even believed that Sarah, her twin sister, didn't know just how selfish Rachel was, as well as being a petty manipulator who could make people do whatever she desired without them even realizing they were being manipulated.
But now was not the time to think about the "nice" sister. I will deal with that later. To be fair, I would do what I promised Patrick: buy his company and pay off his gambling debts, which would also help me avoid problems with Ryan.
"Can we have a civilized conversation now?" Rachel spoke as she placed her utensils next to her plate, but I had already noticed that she had barely touched her food. However, I wasn't concerned about her eating.
"We've been having a civilized conversation ever since I arrived here, don't you agree?"
She sighed resignedly, and I was surprised by how easily she surrendered. I had imagined Rachel to be a lioness, fighting for what she wanted until the end, never bowing down to anyone. That's the image I had of her based on everything I had learned about her.
"Can I at least know your first name?"
"I don't understand why this insistence on knowing something as trivial as someone's name. I could say any name just to satisfy your curiosity, but I don't believe we real to exchange false pleasantries."
"There are no 'false pleasantries,' sir," she persisted, seeming a little weary. "How can I have a conversation with someone if I don't even know their name?"
She was mistaken if she thought she could win me over with her facade of fragility. I hadn't revealed my true personality yet, which was worse than her complaints about my rude behavior.
I have to acknowledge that she's truly an excellent actress, capable of deceiving everyone. Surprisingly, she hadn't tried to seduce me or get me drunk. Perhaps she was planning something more sinister, like slipping something into my drink. Her black dress was alluring, but she wasn't using it to manipulate me as she used to.
"I believe that despite being here for a purpose, we can still be cordial to each other. We're not enemies on a battlefield."
"You said you wanted a civilized conversation. Tell me, what do you want?"
I had no patience for beating around the bush. I kept repeating in my mind that Rachel wouldn't be able to deceive me like she did everyone else, and her false innocent face wouldn't soften me.
She needed to learn a lesson and understand that not everyone is foolish enough to fall for her talk of civility.
"I can't," she said, seeming defeated. "I thought I could, but I can't."
"You had enough time to figure out if you could or couldn't, and now is not the time to back out."
