There was something I have noticed in Minami's behavior these days which made me feel surprised. And those signs signified that she had begun to develop feelings for me.
Reason? I don't know. Really.
At most I could remember, I had met her thrice or four times in the past and once on my initiative. I know my looks have developed and I receive numerous confessions regularly, but I didn't think that Minami-chan would get attracted to me so easily as well.
Not only she is beautiful but I have heard that she rejects every confession she receives from her peers or seniors. Even the baseball ace who has quite a handsome face and a wealthy background was shot down by Minami, mercilessly.
And for that girl to be attracted to me...it was strange.
However, why did I think about her feelings when I was on a date with Shiori? Well, the way Minami showed hostility towards Shiori the moment she saw her beside me, I knew there was something wrong with her.

The way her eyes turned crescent couldn't fool anyone about her current mood. She was utterly pissed off right now.
I turned to look at my Nee-san and for god sake, the usually cheerful Shiori was nowhere to be seen. I could only see a suspicious Shiori glaring at Minami with her eyes barely open.
Deciding to quell the atmosphere I responded to her as I hooked my arm with Shiori's, "Well spending time with my Nee-san is a pretty important thing for me."
Minami's eyes suddenly widened in surprise. And Shiori's as well as she looked at me like I had betrayed her.
Although I realise that Shiori and I have breached the boundary which no brother and sister ever should, she still is my Nee-san!
"Nee-san? So she is just Minoru-senpai's sister? I apologize that I misunderstood you, Onee-san." The way her tone shifted from frosty as ice to warm as a beach made me baffled.
Not to talk about how her temperament towards Shiori took a one-eighty as well.
"First of all, I am not your Onee-san. Second, Minoru and I aren't just siblings, you got that?" I was momentarily taken aback by that bold statement from Shiori as she possessively hugged me into her bosom. It felt like she was telling Minami, 'I won't ever let you have him'.
I wonder if this is how every cliche harem Protagonist feels like.
Minami adopted a sadistic smile as she uttered, "Ara~what more can you be, Onee-san? Siblings can be close as friends but nothing more. It would be morally unacceptable to even think of anything past being friends."
Minami's response was not subtle. She meant that if Shiori had anything in mind regarding her brother then it was gross.
I took offence to that. Incest is wincest!
"What do you mean by that, midget?" Shiori...surprisingly went for offence and the smile on Minami's face became strained.
"Did I hear it right? Did you just call me midget, milk-truck Onee-san?"
I literally saw a vein bulging in Shiori's forehead as she spat, "Aren't you a rude one? Don't associate with her anymore Minoru. This is your elder sister's demand so you can't refuse." Near the end, her eyes became like she was begging me.
I looked at Minami and saw her panicking. She must have realised her mistake but it was too late. It was Nee-san who was insulted here so no helping in it,
"Okay Nee-san, I won't talk to her anymore."
I shrugged, "It is what it is, Minami. Okay then, goodbye." I held Shiori's hand and walked past her.
I couldn't bear to look at a crying girl and if I had tried to console her, Shiori would have gotten hurt. So it was best to leave her right now and think about this later.
'This is a problem tho...' Supposedly if Shiori and Minami both become my lovers in the future then there was a high chance, from what I have observed, that they would never accept each other.
And what if this happens to the others as well? Not to talk about I am aiming to make a married couple my lovers—my parents that is. It seems highly unlikely that they would accept this weird relationship once they find out about the reality.
'Aren't I walking on a very dangerous path?' Now that I think about it, it really seems that the future of mine and the people around was going to be dramatic.
"Minoru...are you upset that I shouted at her?" I raised my brows in surprise upon hearing Shiori's words.
It seems that my silence was perceived as my displeasure.
Since we were no longer in heat, we were slowly walking on the streets and heading back home.
I held her hand tenderly and looked at her with a smile on my face. This silly girl worries about so trivial stuff.
"You did nothing wrong and even if you didn't tell me, I would have stopped meeting her anyway for insulting you and our relationship."
The teary expression of hers tickled my sadistic side but I controlled myself and heard her, "Really?"
I nodded in assent and kissed her hand which was connected to mine before saying, "There is nothing more important for me than my family."
Shiori's expression brightened a bit as she shyly smiled and said, "For me too...you are the most important."
Aww...can I have this adorable creature? Well, she is already mine~
After we reached home, we were startled to find Mom and Dad both present at home at this hour...and currently sitting in the living area while discussing something serious.
I tensed up a little and so did Shiori before I asked, "Is everything alright? Why are you guys looking so serious?"
Mom looked at me with an exasperated look before reminding me, "We just have three days remaining and we haven't even checked what clothes we would be taking on the trip. Don't you find this matter serious, Minoru?"
....oh. So it was about that. I thought they found out something about me and Shiori.
I was about to join them, when suddenly the system reminded me,
