FREE USE in Primitive World Chapter 22

The walk back felt longer than before. Well, of course it did...Probably because he’d decided to wander through the village instead of taking the straight path. So... yeah, obviously, it’s gonna take long, no shit. Anyways, the first thing he noticed was obviously the people, honestly, it’s hard to notice them unless you are blind or something. They were literally everywhere. Women doing various chores, such as weaving grass mats, baskets, etc, kids happily running barefoot without a care, leaving behind the dust, and finally men! The ratio of men to women was pitifully low, like maybe one or two men for every ten women, and even they were just mostly young. But what really caught his attention wasn’t what they were doing... it was how they looked. In one simple word. Beautiful. Wild, sun-kissed, lean and muscular, with clear streamline body shapes. They had that wild, untamed aura to them like coming straight from an aesthetic video game, where creators spent years just making them look pleasing. It’s not that there were not many ugly people but they were absolutely a minority, heck then they were more beautiful than many so called internet influencers with dozens of layers of makeup. Even the older women had this raw, earthy charm to them...their faces carved with lines that spoke of storms weathered and fires tended. They moved with purpose, every gesture balanced and confident. Their hair, black or brown or even pale gold, was braided with feathers, beads, or strips of bark that shimmered when sunlight hit them. The younger ones? Yeah, they were walking chaos. Barefoot, wild-haired, wearing animal hide skirts that clung to their hips, skin glistening from oil and sweat. It was obviously not perfumes. Just natural raw scents of...smoke, berries, wildflowers, and something distinctly human. Nearby, a trio of big-breasted girls haul water jars, their hips swaying rhythmically as they giggle. One of them particularly catches your eye...tall with dark skin and thick streamline thighs glistening with sweat, she looks at him and flashes a curious smile before turning away. He had to force himself not to stare too long. "Alright," he muttered, "calm down, caveman brain." But honestly, it was impossible not to. They were beautiful in a way that made your heart speed up and throat dry up... raw, untamed, unpolished. Like beauty wasn’t something they tried for. It was just how they existed. Maybe it’s the genes, maybe it’s the environment or maybe all people in this world are so fucking beautiful, as they had this wild, untamed vibe to them. And yet... even among them, the one who stood out the most was undisputedly him. From the memories, he knew that he was handsome, but damn, he really didn’t expect this fucking much attention. It was like he was walking on a fashion runaway, eyes followed him when he walked past as if he was carrying a Koh-e-Noor in his hands, whispered voices trailed in his wake. Of course, the men didn’t seem as entertained. A few frowned openly. One spat on the ground. Another glared at him like he’d just declared himself chief. Sol sighed. "Great. New world, same jealous assholes." But of course, he wouldn’t pay attention to these barely kids. He had more important stuff to do and that was... looking at the beauties. Reaching home, he carefully placed the clay jar gently in a corner, even though he had filled it to the brim, but he still didn’t feel even a lil bit tired. "Maybe it’s because tribal people are just much stranger than the modern ones." he couldn’t help muttering as he stepped back outside. He couldn’t help it. The village or more importantly beauties pulled at his curiosity like a magnet. He wanted to see it properly this time. At least understand what kind of damn place he’d woken up in. The Osari tribe... well, his tribe now...stretched wider than it first looked. Huts made of straw, mud, and wooden frames dotted the open plains like scattered nests. No two were the same. Some were round, some long and narrow, others built half-into the ground to stay cool. Paths obviously weren’t paved, there were just dirt tracks beaten flat by countless feet. But even then, there was a strange rhythm to them, the further he got into the tribe the denser the house became, and even though they were seemingly scattered around, they all were in a rough round shape, with the most important places in the village located in the center. Just as he was admiring the primitive aesthetics, suddenly a deep, guttural horn echoed across the whole tribe like a beast had just roared over. For a second everyone and everything seemed to just.... Freeze. Conversations cut off mid-laugh, hands froze mid-work, heads snapped up. You could almost feel the pause, like the hush that comes before chaos. Then, suddenly, it was like someone threw a bucket of cold water into pouring hot oil, the whole place exploded into motion. People started shouting, women dropped what they were doing, kids tripped over each other, the men who had been half asleep suddenly looked like they’d been struck by lightning. The calm hum of the village twisted into a frenzy of voices... shouting, laughter, the scuff of bare feet against packed dirt. And without doubt, everyone was moving toward the same direction, the big wooden gate that sealed the tribe from the wilderness. Sol blinked, jarred by the sudden chaos. "What the hell—?" Then, he suddenly remembered, and finally knew what was happening. He calmly looked up, watching the wave of excitement ripple through the crowd. Every person, young or old, suddenly had somewhere to be. He tilted his head, looking thoughtfully. "Let’s see what happens." He tucked his hands behind his head and started walking with the flow... not rushing like the rest, just following the current of bodies and noise. The dust kicked up around his feet as people ran past him, shouting things he barely caught.
