Max's POV
"So, you're telling me that your friends don’t know that you and my boyfie, wait?" his forehead creased while he pouted his lips as he breaks down every detail I just gave him, "Oh, right, that fucking hot and yummy hottie Sky of SHADOW slash still my boyfie is your guy? Bitch, you fucked my man?!" his voice had gone three pitches higher and I groan.
I knew telling him this is not a very good idea but I still did since this had been bothering me too much.
"We're not fuck buddies, I hate you!" I told him before throwing a cushion which he elegantly swatted away out of his face. "And he's not yours too, okay, back off!" I snickered and he smiled at me amused. His legs crossed as he listens to my every word.
He just came back from the US and went straight to the dorm. Aside from the girls, he's probably the only friend I have that is not an idol and out of this industry.
Details aside, I trust him so much that I wasn't afraid to share him my deepest secrets which I can't seem to share with my other best friends right now.
"Oohhh, possessive. Yeah, you sure have fucked," he sassies and I just sigh in defeat. "Was it big? bitch, I need details, oh my god!" he claps excitedly and I almost threw my phone straight to his face.
"We didn't and that's not the problem now, okay. I don't know what to do," I whispered, my head hung low as I fiddle with my hands while the two of us sat on the couch opposite each other.
After I saw Sky with that rookie idol, I started avoiding him, his calls, his presence, everything.
I set appointments with my other idol friends just to lessen the time that I'd be staying at home or at their dorm. And I knew he noticed. He's been asking me why through messages which I left at seen but after I disregarded every calls and messages, he finally stopped trying.
No words about getting upset or mad about my actions which makes me even more frustrated and guilty.
Right now I knew Zanaya is in their dorm because she asked me if I want to come over. Thank God Jessie came and I have this miniscule excuse of being a coward and stay here.
Cali was out to God knows where as well as Tokyo.
He looked at me like I was some weird human being.
"Max, baby, I love you but you're an idiot. You have a dangerously good-looking man who's stupid enough to accept your ignorant conditions of just kissing and cuddling without being in a relationship yet you're still acting like this? I thought he asked you to be his girlfriend? That means he is really into you!" he rolled his eyes as if he was just stating something that is obvious and I pouted.
"It's not just cherry and blossoms Jessie and you know that. Besides, I saw how he was smiling to that girl... He was..." My lips quiver as the memory of that scene kept on haunting me. "He was enjoying it. I feel like he's genuinely happy,"
My heart dropped at my own words.
I was so used to the fact that Sky will always be there whenever I need him and that
"Did you hear him say he likes her?"
I shake my head not looking at him.
"Okay, so now you were assuming things. Girl, that's bad and a total bullshit. You know what? lemme just have him. You know I'll eat him whole," he smirks and I gagged.
Jessie is my gay best friend and coincidentally, he is a huge fan of SHADOW. To make things even more awkward, Sky was his bias so me telling him that I have been kissing the man he likes is a little weird but in every way feels so right to me. If that even makes sense.
"Why do I have weird friends, really?" I told him before standing up and moving closer to him. "I'm going to take a quick shower. There's food in the fridge. Are you going to sleep here?" I gave him a quick hug and he smile.
"Move away, Nini. You smell like a man - awww!!! " soft chuckles escaped his lips as I hit his arms for teasing me.
"Go away and take a shower. Leave my beautiful ass in here, honey. I'm waiting for a call," he tried removing my arms which I tried to hold onto the best that I can.
He sighs in defeat, "Okay! There's your GUCCI inside the suit case, please leave me alone! Oh God, girls are too clingy. That's why I don't do girls," he said giving a hard push sending me meters away from him.
A smirk escaped my lips as I smile at him cheekily, excitement eating my system at the words he just said. In a flash, I was skipping to my room where his luggage where.
"Don't touch my lingerie!!!," he screamed and I laughed out loud. Jessie was a big guy and seeing him on his lingerie is never a sight I wished to see. But then, I don't really have a choice, do I?
Once I reached my room, I grab a loose black shirt, a pair of undies and a denim shorts. Then, I grab my towel and headed straight to the bathroom. I'll check my GUCCI later. For now, I need to freshen up because I feel sticky.
Humming softly to one of the songs we have been working on since our debut, I pretty much enjoyed my shower, oblivious to the mess that has been happening outside.
"If you really, really love me..." I was still humming just right after I came out of my bathroom, with a fresh feeling and in my most comfortable clothes when I heard something crash right outside my door. In worry, I headed straight to its direction only to be shocked when the room suddenly burst open revealing a very frantic Sky.
His eyes were wide open, hair disheveled, and the leather jacket he was wearing was almost falling off on the other side.
He was leaning on my door, looking it in panic and I swear I heard Jessie's devious laugh right outside the room.
"Your fri- your friend..." he stated panting, his other hand on his chest as if he just came out from a very long and complicated struggle.
Hearing Jessie's laughter emanating the whole dorm, I finally got an idea what had happened.
"Oh gosh, Sky I'm sorry!" my hands clasped together in worry. The guy must have been traumatized.
Jessie is a little handful but he meant no harm. Yet I'm not surprised that he did something mischievous to scare the man in front of me.
Speaking of which, I miss him so fucking much. Seeing him right now makes me want to regret avoiding him for days.
"Max, I'm not going out of this room without you. Your literally friend jumped on me ready to grind," he exclaimed in horror and I felt bad for laughing. His lips were quivering and I bite my lower lip as I try to stop myself from smiling.
I miss him.
Seeing how perfect he looked and my stomach is churning at the sight of him. Why did I even think about avoiding him?
With that in thought, my hands spread wide open.
I'm sorry for being stupid Sky...
His eyes wavered for a moment before his face lightened. Without a second thought, he rushes forward engulfing me in a tight hug.
My breath hitches at the contact, his warmth seeping through my body and it was as if my heart just started functioning properly once again.
"Don't ever do that again, avoiding me. You don't even know how crazy my days have been without you..." he whispered and that ended every doubt I have within me.
Yep, your definitely stupid Max.
It's Sky. Sky will never leave me.
