Chapter 67: Relaxation Time
“I came when you were forging, so I did not interrupt you.” Avril saw that Ye Feng was looking pretty rough, she smiled and said.
The truth was, they had not seen each other for some time, when Ye Feng looked at Avril, he felt a surreal feeling.
But soon, Avril continued to speak: “But how could I have guessed that someone did not discover I am here even after finishing the forging session.”
Even though she was complaining, from Avril’s tone, one could hear a bit of tender loving care, as well as a hint of petulance.
Seeing Avril’s expression, Ye Feng knew that she was not angry with him, he also smiled and asked: “Then how should I make it up to you?”
Avril saw that even though Ye Feng was extremely tired now, he was still concerned with her feelings. She had no complaints left as she said to him lovingly: “You are too dirty, go and wash up.”
After Avril said that, Ye Feng remembered his current condition and felt a bit helpless. Earlier, he had only cared about his forging session, and now, he focused on Avril. He had not taken a look at himself.
The reason why he felt helpless was because he had always kept himself clean in front of Avril even though he had gone through many difficult situations and had been in even worse states in the past.
“Oh you, after such a long time, you are starting to despise me.” Saying so, he wanted to jump on Avril who also moved side after seeing his movement.
She had washed up in the academy before coming to meet Ye Feng. As a girl, she naturally wanted her lover to see her in a beautiful state, that was normal right? Avril did exactly that.
She only came to meet Ye Feng after that.
The truth was, she did not despise Ye Feng at all, but the two of them still played around for some time. Even though Avril’s hair got a little messy afterwards, she did not mind it either.
Ye Feng rubbed the top of Avril’s head before heading to the shower and cleaning up.
Seeing Ye Feng like this, Avril smiled to herself.
After a refreshing shower, Ye Feng came out in fresh clothes as he found Avril staring at him blankly.
“What are you thinking of?” Ye Feng sneaked up to Avril and spoke by her ear.
“Thinking of you… Why are you out so quickly?” Avril did not notice him initially, but when she spoke, she realized something wrong and immediately asked in a shy and embarrassed tone.
She gave Ye Feng a light punch.
Ye Feng could feel Avril’s emotions now as well, he did not dodge her, instead, enduring her fist before pulling her arms, dragging her body towards him and hugging her.
Avril wanted to struggle initially, but Ye Feng hugged her tightly, he whispered in her ear: “I have not seen you for so long, let me hug you for a while.”
After hearing his words, Avril felt like her insides had melted, she stopped moving and allowed Ye Feng to hug her.
Seeing that Avril was lying in his arms so obediently, Ye Feng was very satisfied, after all, she was the person he loved the most.
“You got much skinnier this time.” When Ye Feng hugged Avril, he could tell that she was thinner than before.
Avril smiled: “Being outside is definitely less comfortable than being home, I am already used to it. Furthermore, which girl will not like being skinnier if possible?”
Ye Feng did not say much after hearing that, this was their rare chance to stay together, he was not going to ruin the mood by continuing the conversation.
Seeing that Ye Feng was not speaking, Avril initiated the conversation: “I heard that you are considered my teacher now.”
Sometimes, Ye Feng had to admit that Avril had great foresight. If she did not suggest that he should start a Blacksmith Shop here, he would not have gained such huge rewards.
After Avril returned, she found out about the fact that Ye Feng became a teacher in the academy, afterwards, she thought of Blake whose competition with Ye Feng was now a hot topic in the academy that everyone spoke of.
Avril did not have to spend much effort to understand the situation, Ye Feng also did not expect that Avril would be kept in the dark about it, he nodded: “Indeed, I also met your suitor.”
After hearing about Blake, Avril was not very happy: “Don’t care about that lunatic, did he approach you and cause trouble? I will go talk to him.” Saying so, Avril tried to get out of Ye Feng’s hug.
At this time, Ye Feng was caught between laughter and tears, he pulled Avril and said: “Alright, alright. I taught him a lesson before he was able to do anything. Aren’t you clear of my strength?”
After hearing Ye Feng’s words, Avril relaxed a little. She knew deeply how strong Ye Feng actually was, there was no way for him to suffer a loss against Blake.
She had lost her reasoning earlier when she got agitated.
Ye Feng knew how Avril felt as well, he smiled and said: “But if you want to stand up for me in this matter, I won’t mind it.”
Blake was a top performing student, initially, he had thought too highly of himself which caused him to suffer such a terrible loss in the end. But thankfully, he was not a person of poor conduct normally, thus, not many people mocked him afterwards.
Ye Feng had said this precisely because he knew about that, he was most satisfied when he saw Avril trying to protect him wholeheartedly.
Avril still wanted to speak but Ye Feng placed his finger on her lips: “We only have so few chances to meet, don’t think of other men now.”
Avril laughed as she looked at Ye Feng’s expression, she agreed to his request without second thought. The two of them only had each other in their hearts, they could not help but feel excited when they looked into each other’s eyes.
For some reason, after a while, the two of them hugged again, engaging in exciting activities once more.
