Flora's POV
"He is not a student.I overheard Monica talking about some sort of Registration.But what Registration?"I asked myself.
"Or could it be the Registration into Higher institution"I thought.
"I'm right. The registration just begun"I concluded heading into my room to take a Nap.
Before i could take few more steps, Someone knocked on the then he called my name.I immediately recognized the voice to be Peter's.
"You're welcome"I opened the door and wanting to collect his bag from him.
"Nevermind.Thanks"He said.
"Should i bring your lunch?"I asked.
"Let me have a shower first"He replied and left for his room.
I rushed to the kitchen to put his meal in the microwave.I wasn't expecting him to return right now. I was actually thinking he would skip his lunch or must have eaten somewhere maybe at a restaurant or at Monica's place. Whatever. I sighed then concentrated on the food that was heating.
"Should i bring your food to your room or.. ..?"I yelled.
"I'll eat on the dinning table"He yelled back.
I hurriedly dished his meal,placed it in a small try, gathered the cutleries although i knew he won't use all. I carried the tray gently towards the dinning table and yelled again not knowing he was already behind me. "Drinks? "
"Pineapple Juice"He replied.
"I'm sorry"I apologized for yelling when he was just nearby.He didn't say anything afterall he didn't complain.
I hurried went to get the jug of pineapple juice.It was too cold almost freezing.I filled a glass cup right in front of him.Kudos to me, not even a little dropped on the table.I dropped the Jug in case we wanted to drink more. .Then i sat down on the next chair when i'm not supposed to.I'm foolish.
"How was the registration? "I asked then regretted doing so.
"It was quite fine.It went well"He replied and began to eat.
"I overheard Monica talking about it"I confessed before he would ask me how i got to know that he went for some sort of registration.
"It's entrance into Higher institution "He explained.
"Much as i thought"I replied nodding my head in Affirmation.
"The registration will end next month and the examination will commence a week after the registration ends"
"If only i can register too"I said solemnly.
"You are done with secondary school? "He asked.
"Yeah"I replied.
"And... ?"
"I'll take it next year"I said feeling depressed.I'll be left out.I fought my tears back then stood up to leave.
"Flora? "He called.
"Hmmn? "I answered.
"Are you alright?"He asked.Obviously,i was not.
"Yeah"I lied.I knew he wasn't he didn't believe that. He stared at me.I tried to look Okay.
"Eat your meal, it's getting cold"I persuaded unfortunately it doesn't make him take away his gaze from me.
"I'll just go wash the dishes"I said then quickly went beyond his sight.

I washed the dirty dishes absent-mindedly.Thank God i didn't break any dish.
I staggered towards my room passing through the dinning room.Peter was done with his meal already. I took away the tray and the dishes it contained.Then I returned back to my room and gave a very good cry.
"I shouldn't be here"I fought with myself.
My education is being delayed,Am I even sure I'll be an undergraduate?..I had always wanted to be in an higher institution and become a valuable person in future.My ever yearning dream won't come true?
I began to sob more.
I'm very intelligent or should I say I am brilliant.Ok,I'm so good at academic works.Back then in secondary school,when students can't call on a teacher for assistant,they rather call on me...
So after all,my knowledge is going to wasted?
I sob more and more and more...
"Flora?" He called.
I hurried wiped my tears with the cloth I was putting on.
"Peter" I muttered.
"Why are you crying?" He asked.
"Not at all.I'm not crying" I denied.
"Your eyes are damn red and teary"
"Are they?"
"What's wrong Flora?"
"I'm fine.Is just that I...that I..I..I...I'm Okay Peter" I stammered.
what can I lie about?
I thought.
"Tell me" He insisted.
"I'm Okay" I kept on denying.
"I'll go with that although I don't believe that" He said.
I muttered nothing as i scratched my ten fingers that weren't even itching.
"Earlier, you said you were done with secondary school..?" He asked wanting to request for something. I guessed.
"Yeah?" I replied.
wait,he shouldn't even go there. Or does he want to ask why I'm working here as a maid instead of furthering my education.
"What's your department then?"
He asked.
"I'm a science student" I told him.
He should just go straight to the point.What exactly does he want to say? I wondered.
"I'm a science student too"He said.
" Really?"
"Yeah"
"Quite nice" I said.
"Yeah..." He said scratching his small haired head.
It's obvious he wanted to say something.
"What's it?"I asked.
"Never mind" He said
"I will handle it myself"He added and left my room.
I felt kinda relieved. I didn't expect him to ask about my private life. Thank God he didn't.But what does he want to say?

Confused Boyfriend
Angela's POV
I picked up the books and neatly arranged them back into the shelfs; sad and lost in thought.
The Frank I spoke to earlier is very different from the one I spoke with this morning - totally different.
When I was done arranging the books, I sat down mindlessly.
"Hey girlfriend" It was Gabriella, my best friend.
"Gabriella" I cried out her name.
"What is it? " She asked me.
"Did you see the new girl" I asked her " Our new classmate" I added.
"I was gonna ask you too, the one with Frank right? " Gabby asked.
"Oh my God, are they still together? "
"Er..yeah"
"That girl, can't you see it? She is taking away Frank from me, she doesn't look ordinary" I said. Yes, she doesn't.
"Well, not only Frank but all the guys. Our classmates are drooling over her even some girls are already wishing they were guys or lesbians. I'm sure you won't want to imagine that, I had to leave the class for good, she could bewitch me too if I don't"
"So what's that suppose to mean? "
"The girl is so pretty, I don't think she is from this earth"
."Is that what you are supposed to tell me? I'm afraid, I don't wanna lose my Frank to one beautiful looking witch! "
"Then you've got a long way to go" Gabriella said and I sighed heartbroken-ly.
"Angela" I heard Frank's voice called me.
Frank? I raised my head up to see him nearby and without the Paulina girl.
"Frank is still yours, see" Gabby whispered to me then she left us alone.
"Angela" Frank called my name again and he walked towards me.
Pay back time - I thought.
Then I began to act like he doesn't exist.
"Hey" He said and took a seat in front of me.
I didn't say anything .
"OK, i know you are very angry but I'm very sorry as well" He apologized.
I shrugged "Are you? " I asked.
"I am I swear"
"I thought you were gonna throw away our three years relationship away like that. Do you even know that my mom has been imagining our wedding day in her head? How do you expect her to feel when she finds out that one girl juts came in between us" I half-yelled coldly.
"It would.. It would never happen again" He said and held my both hands, intertwined then his his as he stared into my eyes.
I think Gabriella is right, Frank is still mine.
"I'm sorry okay? " He apologised once more then I finally smiled.
"Apology accepted" I told him.
He stood on his feet and made me stand too, then he gently pulled me himself and hugged me then gave a short kiss on my lips.
"Can I ask you for something?" He asked me
"Of course, go on. Anything for you baby" I replied smiling.
"Will you.. Mmm, will you lend me that novel? "
"What novel? "
"Paradise on earth"
I was kinda shocked, I mean Frank isn't a story lover or wait, does he wanna give it to Paulina? No, he can't.
"Why? " I asked him.
"My brother, Freddie is visiting home soon and you know, he loves novels and magazines more than anything else. I... I just wanted to surprise him with a novel" He said, rushing all his words to an extent that I can't even figure out if he is telling lies or not but why would he lie to me?
"You mean Freddie will be home soon? " I exclaimed.
"Ye..ah"
"Then let me hand over to you more than one novel. He is sure gonna love them" I said and rushed over to the shelfs and made several pick. -

Frank's POV
I stood there and watched her move from shelfs to shelfs picking different novels.
OMG am I this good at lying that she couldn't even tell that I was telling lies.
But I wasn't lying about Freddie, he is my twin brother, my non-identical brother and he loves novels. He promised to come spend some days with me and would go back few days after our birthday.
So it was half truth, half lies.
But, I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm not trying to break Angela's heart. I still really love her and somehow I'm so attracted to Paulina, her charming beauty did the magic.
"Here" She dropped some books on the table.

One, two, three, four, five, six and seven. Seven novels! OMG but I asked for just one.
"These are super intriguing stores by the same author. WISAN has always been my best writer" She said and here is Paradise on earth. She said pointing at the one on top of the books.
"O.. K" I said not knowing what else to say.
Then I carried the books, "Do you need my help? " She asked.
"Oh no. Thanks darling. I'll be right back" I said and carefully ran out of the library with the books.
I met Paulina outside..She has been waiting for me.
"Here are some very interesting novels. She gave it to me and I'm very sure you'll love them" I told her and gave the books to her.
"Oh my Goodness Frank. You are a darling" She said while checking out the books.
Oh My! She just called me a darling.
