Eijar was usually treating him sarcastically, she used to help him but not genuinely but because of the contract and her safety, she never cared about him sincerely, her only purpose was to survive.
She never spoke of any goals that she wanted to achieve, and she never spoke about her life before she contracted him, and she hasn't been talking about Lucas and the time she spent with him , and whether she contracted others before or not .
Isiah opened his eyes with a troubled look on his face, he felt like she insulted him when she said those words, and her reply made him realize that she knew that she was expecting that from him after killing those creatures.

Eijar moved back from him because he was so angry, and she feared that he might throw her away like usual but he didn't instead he just put his hand upon his neck and started to press a little bit, he was suffocating himself but the more he pressed there his sore gorge didn't hurt that much.
