After an hour!!

“Boss!!” Colton received Tyler’s phone to hear what stupid things he had to inform only but didn’t say anything from his side. “A lot of vampires popped up from nowhere around the pack. And the way they are all loaded with various types of guns, silver bombs, and other things. It’s clear that they are going to attack the pack.”
Colton didn’t disconnect the call and kept the call on hold, he dialed Alpha Kane’s number, but he didn’t receive his call. He kept calling him a couple of times, but that idiot didn’t receive his call. Then he dialed Liara’s number, and the response was the same as Kane’s.
‘Damn! Why the hell do they even keep a phone when they can’t receive the call in an emergency?’ He hissed in anger.
“Keep an eye on them. I’m reaching there as soon as possible. You all are just ten, so don’t attack them until you want to die.” Colton warned and disconnected the pain. He started to leave alone when Alaric spoke.
“Take me with you. I can help.” Alaric offered, not sure that Colton would let him help, but surprisingly he did. Not just that, he observed how he broke the silver lock of the cage without getting his hand burnt. And that was when his eyes landed on the ring on the middle finger.
“You… you’re a hunter,” Alaric commented. Colton ignored his words. “But you look and smell like a werewolf.”
“What are you? I had seen that the boss of the hunter had a tattoo on his hand. You’re a hunter or a werewolf?” Alaric kept questioning and followed Colton out of the caravan car. The rain was pouring like cats and dogs. In a couple of seconds, when the scent that Colton had used to smell like Calvin was washed, and his real smell hit Alaric’s nose, sending shivers under his vein.
“Do you mean this mark?” Colton asked with a smirk, and his marks appeared on his hand, and his eyes turned black.
“You’re cursed,” Alaric muttered, taking a step away from Colton. He had read about these types of hunters. They were human but equally powerful as young werewolves or newly shifted vampires at the beginning of their age. And then, along with practice and experience, they become stronger. Not just that, but with power, their soul gets darker and darker.
Colton didn’t waste his time over there and ran toward the pack.
‘Fuck!! It will be a treat for him. The most vampires he kills, the more powerful he will become. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!’ Alaric kept cursing at the bad luck of vampires, and the worst part was that no one could think of killing a cursed hunter (in their language) because whoever would kill them would be cursed with a horrible death.
Alaric, too, ran behind Colton after a couple of minutes. He wanted to tell Theodore the truth about Elder Ozul that how he planned his death.

“What the hell!!” Calvin shouted, picking up so many vampire scents. “Dad, are you also thinking that I’m sensing?”
“There is an attack at the pack, a plan attacked, to be specific.”
“It will be like inviting death if we will join the war against so many vampires,” Calvin said, thinking about the situation practically.
At the same time, they heard a loud painful howl from the part. The howl indicated that the Alpha of the pack was no more.
And the moment wolves lose their leader, half of their strength to fight and win the war get almost finished.
Brandon quickly dialed Caroline’s number, asking her to come to where they were. “Aaaaa” Calvin shouted, watching a mask on her face and hair die on her hair.
“What? Dad disturbed me when I was self-pampering myself, so you get what you get.” Caroline replied, shrugging her shoulder, and found Brandon glaring at both of them.
“Really? In this situation? Caro, bring Lee safely from her floor.” Brandon ordered and hoped for her to be there. After a few seconds, Caroline returned by shaking her head.
“She is not there, dad. You know she is… she might be busy helping others. We will have to wait for Colton before teleporting ourselves to the battlefield directly.” Caroline updated. “He is here, right?”
“Hmm!! Might be on the way.” Calvin nodded his head. “I knew this was a stupid Alpha. When his father was alive, never did anything like this happen, and now.” He growled in anger.
“By the way, the dead body of the Alpha is in the Liara’s laboratory,” Caroline said, shocking Calvin, but Brandon wasn’t at all shocked by this news. He had already guessed that Liara was in heat when he met previously, and that meant she had found her mate.
And that also meant that Kane might get killed by Liara's fated mate when he would have tried to cross his line. Brandon couldn’t understand what Kane would be doing in the girl’s hostel, that too in Liara’s room in the first place.

Liara attacked the vampire who was about to kill Tobey Gilbert, the former beta of the pack, and stabbed at vampire’s heart with the silver dagger that she got from the dead body of Alpha Kane.
“You okay, Beta Tobey?” She asked about his wolf form, to which he nodded his head. “Great. We have to attack as a team, okay? Then only we can win.” She said, trying to be confident. Beta Tobey was an old werewolf, and Liara was an amateur. So, they decided to fight against vampires together.
All of a sudden, a lot of mist appeared around her, making her see nothing around her.
“Aaaa… aaaa… aaa!!!” She cried when someone dragged her, grabbed her hair, and threw her on the floor.
“Master!! She is the cousin of the King, Steve Weasley.” A female said on which Liara first looked at her in anger and then looked at the master or, say, Elder of the coven. And the moment her eyes landed on him, her eyes widened.
Shock, confusion, and disbelief all mixed together, making her wonder whether she was really looking at him. If he was really what she was thinking, then she wanted to kill him for what he had done. But was this really possible? How?
“Why are you looking at me in that way?” Elder Ozul chucked, and a dimple appeared on his cheek.
Liara pitched herself to check whether she was really not dreaming. No matter how much she tried to understand and solve this puzzle, she couldn’t.
“Ken Turner?” Liara finally managed to mutter. “Older human brother of Kennedy Turner Wayne?” She added, and the way Elder Ozul’s smile disappeared, she knew that she had hit the right spot.
