"Arline, Give me my phone, princess!!" Caroline took her phone from her daughter, who was playing games, but even she could have gotten a chance to use it. It turned switched off because the battery was low. She glared at her daughter, who gave her a sweet innocent smile. "Moon Goddess, I can't even scold you now." She mumbled and kissed her cheek.
"Go spend some time with your Papa." She said before plugging in her phone on charge.
Caroline grabbed Artemis's phone to call Liara, but the response was still the same.
'There is no way she can switch off her phone for this long.' She thought, getting worried for Liara. The next moment, she was on Liara's floor to check on her, and she thanked the lord that she didn't land in her room after listening to Liara's cries and pleasuring moans.
She waited for a while for them to sense her presence, but that never happened, maybe because the whole area had a smell of sex, sweat, and arousal.
'Don't tell me that she has been busy with this since last night.' She muttered and channeled her power to leave. Immediately she sensed a strong wave of energy, and her wolf spoke, 'Vampire...'
'You sure?'
'Is that even a question? But he is not just a vampire... I can sense another sense of energy around him too. That is a weak and faint one. That's why I'm not able to name it.' Her wolf said.
'If you can sense him, then others might sense him too?' Caroline questioned and teleported herself away to the top floor, not before masking her scent, and she was right; she could sense the presence of a vampire in the building.
Not just that, the whole building was guarded with more than a hundred guards, but neither of them was moving from their place as if they were waiting for someone or something or a perfect moment to catch that vampire when he would come out OR god knew what other reason?
'God, Lee will become a laughing stock in the whole pack after this incident. And she might get kicked out for bringing a vampire in a pack. I can't let that happen.' With this, she looked up into the sky, looking at the full Moon, and started chanting a spell to control everyone's mind except Liara and her mate.
She erased their memory of the last twenty-four hours and ordered everyone to get back to their bed and sleep.
She dropped to her knee once she completed the spell and absorbed more and more power from the Moon to leave from there because she was feeling extremely weak. The little mistake that she ended up making was that even the warriors of the pack guarding the pack when to their bed to sleep.

"How much time more?" Brandon Haysbert asked, getting impatient.
"Five minutes, dad," Colton replied equally, getting tensed. Liara's phone was switched off, and worst, Brandon received a call from Alpha Kane informing him that there was a vampire in her room that they had sensed a couple of hours before. No one knew how he ended up reaching there. Maybe his mask was covered before but was not anymore.
They wanted to take action against that vampire but not at the risk of Liara's life. Instead of sending everyone to her hostel, Brandon knew that Colton was in the forest around Ever Green Pack for his work.
He even called Caroline for help, but Caroline's two years toddler kept disconnecting his call while playing games on the phone. And after that, the phone turned switched off.
"Hurry up!!" Brandon hissed in anger even though he knew that there was no mistake of Colton over here.
By the time Colton reached there, he was shocked to see there was not a single guard at the border. He disconnected the call instead of informing this to Brandon and making him worry. He ran toward Liara's hostel.
He could sense supernatural creatures everywhere in the pack, so he focused on one place. The whole pack was silent as dead because he couldn't find one single person outside nor a single sound. He chose the elevator to reach Liara's room because choosing stairs wasn't his thing. He played with his ring, trying to calm down his racing heart.
'Your family is your weakness.' A voice rang in his mind. Watching Colton in a weak state, his ring started taking control of him.
'And my weakness makes me strong.' Colton snapped, stopping his ring to take control, and ordered him to turn into a sword when he almost reached Liara's floor. He sensed power, a powerful one. He covered his face with a mask before the elevator would have opened, and that was when his eyes landed on his prey, who had been wearing a hoodie and had a mask covering his half-face.
His brown eyes turned black within a second as he lifted his sword.
