Ethan kept listening to her but didn’t say anything about that.

She said to him calmly before adding, "I will talk to your friend about sending Ezra to school in my way since you’re failing to do so." She was about to leave when she whimpered in pain as Gryphon kicked her hard.
"You okay?" Ethan asked. Liara looked at him in surprise when he showed his concern for her. "I mean, I just asked because I don’t want others to think that I’m the reason behind your pain." He added rudely.
"Yeah, I’m fine. Thank you for asking. It’s just that he kicks a lot." Liara replied with a smile and left there. Little did she know, Ethan kept staring at her and stayed rooted to his place.

He watched a couple of pups leaving for school, wearing neat and clean school uniforms. He recalled his friend’s words.

Ethan massaged his head and looked for Ezra’s scent, who was sitting on a tree, fuming in anger. Well, Moana told him what happened to him, and this was the first time he was defeated, maybe because that girl was also of Alpha blood or maybe she was trained differently than him.
‘Don’t worry about him; Doctor Wayne said that she will make sure that he will start his schooling.' His wolf said.
‘How will I not worry about him? I’m failing to raise him in the right way. He is the first pup of his mother, the rightful heir of his mother’s pack. He needed training like one. I needed to do something to secure his future.’
He was about to leave without meeting Ezra when he found Brandon behind him.

"But yes, I can answer your question, not because you asked me and tried to bribe me. I’m answering this because, as a father, I believe you should know what is coming for your daughter." With that, he told Ethan everything that he knew, everything that had happened approximately one and a half months earlier. Ethan left from there, telling Brandon everything. Brandon didn’t have time to stay shocked because he had to plan everything.
Colton’s number was switched off, and no one knew where he was, so he had to take that place.
