Brandon didn’t know how to wrap up the news that all this time he had an elder brother. He kept staring at the man in front of him, Ambrose Wayne, who got his looks from his real father while he got them from his mother, except for eyes and hair, of course.
He had shoulder-length brown, messy hair and a big scar on his left eyebrow. Whatever the reason behind his injury, it could have damaged his eyes.
Brandon wouldn't be surprised if he found multiple scars like that all over Ambrose’s body after all, the rogue’s life wasn’t an easy one.
"He is not brother, Lee!!" Brandon said it in a cold tone. "Just because we are related by blood doesn’t mean he is my brother. After all, a family is not about blood but love," he added.
"That is what I was telling these pups," Ambrose grumbled, looking at Liara.
"True that. I just can’t treat someone like my brother who knew about my existence but never came to visit me or tried to contact me." Brandon pointed this out. That's when Liara realized why Colton never spoke to Ambrose. She was positive that even he knew who Ambrose was!
"Because I don't want to maintain any ties with the people who shared that bastard's blood, "Ambrose growled at Brandon.
"Oh! Does that mean you haven't had any contact with your own pups?" Brandon mocked. "Because I'm sure the same amount of his blood runs through my vein as it does through your vein. Anyway, you don't have to answer that question because I don't care about anything about you."
"Hell, why are you even alive if you hated him so much?"
"I’m my mother’s son as well."
"That’s my point," Brandon said, proving his point. Edolie and Sophia looked at each other and smiled. Edolie and Sophia looked at each other and smiled. They hugged each other and ignored their mate’s stupid discussion.
At the same time, Ambrose realized the reason why Brandon was behaving like this. He was angry for not reaching him. He wasn’t behaving like this because Ambrose was a rogue or an illegitimate child.
"Are you mad at me?" Ambrose questioned him.
"Do I have that right?" Brandon questioned him back. They all turned to look at their mates, who were giggling and drinking juice.
Well, not just that, only they were there. Liara, Sophia, Edolie, and Moana, who were standing around them until a moment before, were in Liara’s home enjoying themselves. Dotty was serving them snacks.
"Wow! They are already friends." Brandon muttered, looking at Edolie and Sophia.
"Even we can if you can forgive me," Ambrose muttered. Brandon looked at him, and their eyes met. "I’m sorry. I had a feeling that you would be different from that bastard when I observed Lee, but still, deep down, I wasn’t ready to accept it."
"Can I stay mad at you and lose more moments with my elder brother than I already have?" Brandon questioned.
"No, you can’t." Brandon smiled as Ambrose pointed out.

When Theodore entered his bedroom, he found Sophia and Liara gossiping about the time that they had missed in all these years, but what surprised him was that Sophia was in a nightgown. He couldn’t help but feel something was fishy.
Wasn't it too late to stay in her daughter’s room?
"You’re late, Odo," Liara complained.
"Sorry. I thought Mom was here, so I could use that time to finish the pending work while you were busy..."
"I was just teasing you," Liara said, cutting in between. "Anyway, I was hoping you could sleep with Dad tonight because Mom is sleeping with me." She added cheerfully, to which Theodore looked at Sophia, silently asking, 'Why?’
They practically spent the whole day together. The night was his time.
But looking at Sophia's face, it looked like it was Liara’s wish to sleep with her, and she couldn’t say no.
"I don’t like to rest anywhere else except my bed," Theodore whispered in a low tone so that his pregnant wife wouldn’t get mad.
"Oh, okay. Let go, Mom. We will send dad here."
‘You got to be kidding me.’ Theodore thought but didn't dare to speak and grabbed some clean clothes from the closet to change into because he didn't know what else to do. He disappeared into the washroom once Liara and Sophia left the room.
When he walked out of the washroom, he found his father-in-law sitting on the bed with a frown.
"What kind of pregnancy mood is this?" Brandon complained because he didn’t have a habit of sleeping away from his wife. "And I can’t believe that you let that happen. I couldn’t say no to her, but you could have."
"Really? And then what? She would have been upset." Theodore reminded. Neither of them wanted to do that. "But I have a plan. That way, you'll have your mate and I'll have mine."
Never did Brandon think that they would work together, but anything to sleep beside Sophia
"What’s it?" He asked, taking interest in the plan, at which Theodore smirked.
