As soon as she heard Daniel’s voice in the lobby, she immediately left Kenneth and returned to her room as soon as possible. Once inside, she planned to take a shower, but then, Daniel suddenly entered. Fortunately, she managed to spray some perfume earlier.
"Hello, Baby," Daniel greeted her, attempting to kiss the inside of her cheek.
Isabelle instinctively moved away from him. Kenneth and she had just made love, and she could still smell Kenneth's scent on her skin.
“Hi. I’m sorry I had to excuse myself for a little bit. I feel like I needed a little nap,” she lied.
“It seemed that you just woke up from your little nap, baby,” Daniel said.
“That’s right. Let me take a quick shower then I will go downstairs as soon as I am done,” she told him and immediately left to go to the bathroom.
Isabelle didn’t wait for his response and rushed toward the bathroom. She needed to wash away Kenneth's scent from her skin. After a quick shower, she changed into something more formal than her attire earlier. She knew how to dress to make an impression, just like Lorraine and her mother!
Her shoulders were covered by the dress, which flowed down to a lovely plunging neckline. It had a loose fit, diverting attention from her breasts. The sleeves started loose but became snugger and delicately curled around her wrists. Besides the stunning design, the vibrant red color would undoubtedly catch everyone's attention. She just didn’t expect that Daniel would be waiting for her.
“I’m sorry, baby,” he said.
“For what?”
“For leaving you here at home most of the time,” he replied.
"It’s alright. Kenneth has been very kind to me, Daniel. I think you should thank your brother for being nice to me.”
"Are you sure about that?" he questioned.
“Yes,” she replied.
Well, it was true that Kenneth had been nice to her but it was because of their affair. Or maybe, Kenneth was just nice to everyone. In fact, he wasn’t mean to his wife even if he didn’t like her. He was kind to Sabrina most of the time even if he was forced into marrying her.
“I think I should,” he said, but when he lowered his head to capture her lips, she dodged it.
“Is there something wrong?” he asked in confusion.
“I’m just not in the mood for some kissing, Daniel,” she lied.
Before Kenneth entered her life, Isabelle used to employ naughty tricks on her husband whenever they were physically close. Daniel noticed her distancing herself from him, but she couldn't allow him to touch her.
“If you are tired, you don’t have to return downstairs, baby. Take a rest, and I will tell them you are indisposed,” he said.
“Thank you,” she said.
Just like what Daniel said, he returned to the guests to tell them she was indisposed and allowed her to rest in their room.
A few minutes later, Daniel returned, and Isabelle watched him turn off the lights. Then he changed into his pajama. When he joined her in bed, she wanted to kick him out but she couldn’t.
Isabelle tossed and turned restlessly, unable to sleep with Daniel lying inches away from her. When he whispered their call sign into her ear and sucked on her earlobe, she closed her eyes tightly, feigning unconsciousness while trying to remain still.
However, Daniel misinterpreted her reactions, believing that she enjoyed his attention and becoming more daring. She struggled not to respond to his advances, hoping he would stop, but he unexpectedly squeezed her breasts.

"My god, this is unbelievable! Are you crazy, Isabelle? Why did you have to do this?”
“Why not? You do it all the time, with different women. Am I wrong?”
“But why Kenneth? If you want to get back at me, you could have chosen another man. Why it should be him?”
“Because I like him, and he is your brother. Must be painful for you, right?” she asked.
“Oh God, I can’t believe I am hearing this nonsense from you!”
“Then, would you like me to cheat on you with your grandfather? Well, it would be a shame to sleep with someone as old as Gabriel,” she mocked him some more.
“Shut up!”
“I warned you not to hurt my feelings, didn’t I?”
