Shatter! Clink! Clank!
The sound of glasses smashing into the floor resounded as Byran sweeped the table clean with his bare hands.
"What the hell happened to that bitch Roland!? How dare he stand his ground in front of me?"
Seething with anger, Bryan heaved up and down as he smashed the now clean table with his bare hands.
Beside him, Anna was a little nervous. This was the first time she saw Bryan getting this worked up, she was kind of afraid at how violent he was.
She could not help but think of how Roland treated her before.
That thought merely crossed her mind for a split second before her anger towards what happened earlier surfaced in her mind.
She approached Bryan with a pitiful expression and held his arms between her two peaks, "Baby, you must take revenge on what happened earlier. That Roland is very hurtful. Especially that bitch that he was with, I just can't stand their shameless faces at all."
Feeling the softness on his arms, Bryan's expression also started to soften.
He calmed himself down, hugged Anna tightly, and said, "Don't worry about it baby, I got this."
'Hmmp! Roland, just you wait. I did not intend to make your life like hell before but now that you've truly crossed paths with me… Be prepared to face hell!'
And with that, Bryan took out his phone and dialed a number.
"Hello, Pa…"
Roland looked at Stacey's eyes and lips.
The temptation was great, as Stacey started to close her eyes with a rosy face, indicating her silent consent towards what would happen next.
Strange thoughts filled her mind as she began to overthink.
Stacey was as virgin as Roland.
Never experienced having a relationship, as no suitors suit her taste, or rather, her strange fantasy.
None could even make her excited and blush, even those popular idols online.
Although holding a male's hand was nothing new to her, this would be the first time that he would be kissing someone, and that someone was Roland, a person with a secret identity.

These thoughts crossed her mind multiple times as she waited for the anticipated kiss.

Gradually, Stacey opened her eyes.
Seeing Roland looking at the movie again, Stacey could not help but feel downhearted.
Her heart began to ache inexplicably, disappointment was written all over her face.
As if Roland had noticed it, he sighed and looked at her again.
"Stacey, you know that I have just experienced a devastating heartbreak a few days ago, right?"
"It was just a few days ago. And, you know that moving on isn't that easy, right?"
Roland was aware of Stacey's feelings towards him. He knew that she liked him. He may be a virgin but he was never a dense person.
However, he just broke up with Anna a few days ago, and getting into another relationship right after that was wrong on a whole other level.
It was wrong not only for him, but also for Stacey. In fact, it would be unfair to her.
Stacey was a good and lovely girl. Unlike Anna, she was very caring and was not what they called a gold-digger either.
However, it was due to these good things about her that Roland did not want to take advantage of her feelings.
Making her a rebound girl just so he could move on easily was the idea. Roland knew that it was wrong, but he was willing to do so before because he was very desperate to forget Anna.
He was desperate about moving on.
However, during these past few days, Roland realized that he didn't need another romance to forget Anna at all.
He didn't need to hurt another person to forget her.
A girl who belonged to the street like her was not worthy of such an honor.
Stacey on the other hand was different. She doesn't deserve getting treated as a rebound girl.
"I know, you told me about it before," Stacey smiled stiffly, the rejection earlier still weighed her mind.
"It has been only a few days. Do you think I have already moved on from that terrible experience?"
Indeed, although he no longer felt anything other than disgust upon seeing Anna again, Roland did not try to boast that he had completely moved on from his relationship.
He might have moved on from Anna but he knew that he had not moved on from the actual relationship yet.
Hearing that, Stacey finally managed to catch the underlying meaning behind his words.
"Are you perhaps worried about me becoming a rebound?" Her eyes started to glisten, the thought of Roland getting worried about her made her face a little rosy.
Roland nodded his head in agreement. He was indeed worried about what she would feel.
"Is this the reason why uhmmm… uhmmm… why you stopped e-earlier?" Stacey stuttered, thinking about the missed opportunity earlier.
Roland nodded his head yet again.
A smile blossomed on Stacey's face.
She laughed to herself, thinking that she might have just overthinked earlier.
'This was just his reason? I thought it was something serious. Like him, not liking me at all, hehe!'
Indeed, Stacey did not think that being a rebound was bad.
After all, she also has a secret herself.
Her fantasy was being fulfilled, no matter if she was being a rebound or not.
Of course, she has no intention of telling Roland about this, at least, not yet.
"Then, do you think you have moved on already?" Stacey asked.
Roland shook his head this time.

Suddenly, she stood up from the sofa and went in front of him.

Maintaining eye contact with Roland, Stacey suddenly sat on his lap.
The sudden action not only startled Roland, it even made him jerk up a little.
Stacey's whole weight rested upon his lap. One of her arms began to circle around his neck, while the other reached his chin and lifted it up.
"Then, do you want me to help you move on?"
A provocative smile appeared on her face, her eyes turned seductive, sucking Roland's soul out of his eyes.

Roland gulped nervously.
Behind the scenes, something was rising, but it was not the shield hero.
