"Shouldn't you answer that phone call already?" Janine pointed at the phone.
Adella told her earlier that she would check something first and then call Paul right after. She was positive that the one calling Paul right now was Adella.
Paul got startled and looked at the name of the one who was calling him.
Dream Blue!
Paul hurriedly pressed the answer button upon looking at the name.
"H-hello ma'am?"
The tone of his voice was soft and fearful. It was apparent that he either respected the other person or feared the other person a lot.
The phone was not on loudspeaker so Roland and Janine could not hear what they were talking.
However, they could see that the longer Paul talked, the paler he became. He just kept on nodding and answering either, "Yes ma'am!" or "Alright ma'am!"
After a few more minutes, Dream Blue ended the call as Paul put the phone on the table with a trembling hand.
He did not even bother looking at Roland and Janine as he printed the documents he was typing for Roland's information earlier with a grim expression.
He became so busy that his co-workers, who knew his role inside the office, felt strange.
'Was Paul usually this energetic?' They could not help but think to themselves as Paul went back and forth all over the place.
His assistant also felt strange, when Paul had customers, it was usually him who would do all the work except for receiving the customers at the window. Now on the other hand, Paul was doing everything on his own.
It was as if he was an intern on his first day of work.
Twenty minutes later, he went back to the window and handed Roland his shining driver's license card.
When Roland looked at it, he was surprised to see that it was even a professional's driver's license.
Usually, one would need to wait at least a year before they could transition from the non-professional driver's license to a professional driver's license.
Roland, however, skipped the process and got a professional driver's license directly.
His basic information as well as his picture was printed on the driver's license. His picture was blurry due to the low-quality camera used earlier but one would still be able to discern his handsome face on the picture at one glance.
Janine nodded her head seeing that they successfully accomplished what they came here.
She looked at Paul with a satisfied expression and asked, "So, how much is it again?"
Of course, Janine was intentionally provoking Paul due to his treatment of them earlier. She nearly lost face in front of Roland, how could she not take a little revenge.
Hearing that, Paul had a wry expression.
'You said the one who sent you here was called Adella, why did Dream Blue call me, instead?'
Dream Blue was considered to be his senior in this line of business. It could be said that he was just one of the many people who Dream Blue recommended to be put in such a position. And for her to put them in this position easily, she naturally has the ability to remove them easily as well.
He shivered just thinking about it.

Seeing that, Janine still had a frown on her face. 100 Global Dollars was still a lot. However, considering that this was indeed an illegal transaction and the fact that the driver's license was already in Roland's hands, she no longer wanted to make it hard for Paul anymore.
However, she still thought that she should make a call and report him to Adella later. She could just let Adella deal with him.
Upon seeing his asking price, Roland also felt satisfied. The price went down by half, he was satisfied even though that kind of money no longer moved him.
"100 Global Dollars? Alright, no problem!" He said as he prepared to take out the said amount from his wallet.
However, before he could do so, Paul suddenly interrupted him with a stiff and terrified expression, "No wait! Not 100 Global Dollars, not 100 Global Dollars!"
Janine and Roland turned to look at him with a confused expression.
Didn't he just raise one of his fingers earlier? He even did it with a low voice, as if afraid that someone would hear it.
Janine looked at him with a frown. If not 100 Global Dollars, did he mean, "1000? You're actually so daring?"
It looks like Adella can't be trusted. Instead of lowering the price, it actually increased fivefold.
However, Janine's thoughts were suddenly interrupted as Paul gulped a mouthful of saliva as he spoke with a trembling voice, "O-one cent! What I meant is 1 cent. Please just pay me 1 cent!"
Paul was about to cry. If not for the process requiring the customers to pay, he would not even let them pay at all. To think that they actually knew Dream Blue and made her make a personal call. Paul was already terrified of this duo.
Not only did they lie to him by mentioning an unknown name, they even blatantly raised the prices he lowered and set it to 100 and then as if it was not enough, they even raised it to 1000. It was as if they could not wait for Dream Blue to fire him.
Bullies! These two are bullies!

Janine and Roland had their eyes turn wide due to shock.
A driver's license for a single cent?
This… wasn't this unbelievably cheap?
"I think 1 cent is pretty low. Here, take this 100 Global Dollars instead, consider the change as your tip, alright?" Roland was feeling generous at the moment, so he wanted to reward him a little considering that he was quite straightforward on his service earlier.
However, instead of accepting, Paul just directly cried and made a praying gesture towards them, "Please, please. I truly apologize for my behavior earlier. Please just pay me 1 cent and go…"
Seeing Paul's miserable expression, Roland could not help but look at Janine strangely.
'Was Janine's connection that powerful? I must thank her for a proper meal someday then,' Roland thought.
In the end, after being begged by Paul, Roland finally gives in. But due to the fact that he doesn't have a single cent on him, he ended up still paying with the 100 Global Dollar bill.
However, Paul still insisted that Roland must accept the 99.99 Global Dollars for the change or else he would be fired on his work, so Roland could only take it back.
Although his one-time generosity was wasted, he did not mind as he and Janine, who had a triumphant expression on her face, went out of the transportation office.
The security guard and the people, whose line did not move a single step, naturally saw them walk out with valiant steps.
"See? I told you guys they were the president's children."
"I've been working here for a few years already and I'm actually recording the time spent by people like them inside the office. The quicker they get out, the more influential they are.
As I reckon, they now hold the record of finishing the process by exiting even before the forty-minute mark."
The security guard boasted as he looked at the people who were still dissatisfied earlier with a gleeful smile.
The people, especially the bulky man at the last of the line, wiped the sweat that had unknowingly rolled down their forehead upon hearing what the security guard said.
Fortunately, they stopped in time. Else, who knew what would happen if they continued to provoke those two who just left?
They nodded at the security guard gratefully.
On the other hand, the security guard also looked at them as if he was a superior being.
Now that he already has his license, Roland did not dawdle any longer as he drove the Ramborghini Sian out.
They still had at least a few hours before the car show would start so they planned on driving around the downtown as a tour first.
