Chapter 932: Chapter 930: The Secret Containment Site
Triss, dressed in a pure black cloak that envelops his entire body, stands patiently before a massive black gate tens of meters high, waiting for it to fully open.
Amid the ear-piercing sound, one can see the gate rotating at an angle velocity of less than one degree per second, expectedly taking over a minute to fully open.
Behind Triss, there are a dozen or so individuals dressed similarly to him, all his companions. Additionally, there is a large black ship parked on the ground. The ship is over twenty meters long and about five meters wide, its surface etched with numerous Magic Runes, and on the deck lie one large and two small silver-white metal coffins.
From the gaps in the coffins, white cold air faintly emerges and instantly freezes the moisture in the air into ice crystals. Soon, traces of white frost gradually cover the coffins.

“Creak… Creak… Crack!”
Finally, the gate fully opens, and a man, also dressed in a pure black cloak and wearing round-frame glasses, walks out with a stack of thick paper documents filled with dense text.
The man who walked out glanced at Triss and the others, lightly adjusted his glasses, and slowly asked, “What’s the matter?”
“Can’t you see?” Triss really wanted to mock him with a remark like that, but his character is more cautious, so he merely pointed to the black ship parked on the ground beside him and said with a pout, “Deliver three Sealed Items here for containment.”
“Clatter!” The glasses-wearing man lowered his head to peruse the documents, finally stopping at one page, reading for a moment, nodding lightly, and looking again at Triss, “Indeed, there is an application record for delivering Sealed Items for containment, but to ensure safety, as per usual practice, I must ask for your password.”
“Why ask for it! Can’t you tell true from false! Besides us, is there anyone else doing such a thing?” Triss muttered inwardly, then pursed his lips dryly and said, “God is light, is the one and only, is fate, is truth; we all move forward under His guidance.”
“Pat!” The man with glasses closed the document, tilted his chin upward, and nodded slightly, “Good, the password is correct, you may proceed. But before that, I need to know the categories of the Sealed Items you brought for containment so I can guide you to the appropriate locations.”
Now that’s a question worth asking, not as idiotic as the previous ones… Triss glanced at the man with glasses and said, “There are three in total, categorized as 1067th, 324th, and 103rd.”
“1067th, 324th, and 103rd.” The glasses-wearing man repeated the words Triss said in a low voice, then after pondering for a moment, said, “So it’s the North Soul-Sucking Crocodile, Lu Ke Three-eyed Evil Leopard, and Yam Dark Rat respectively; two Mutant Species and one Superbirth Species.”
While speaking, the glasses-wearing man glanced at the coffin emitting cold air aboard the black ship, slightly frowning, “All Short-lived Species? I thought there’d be at least one Immortal Species this time, that large container looks like it might contain one.”
“You thought there’d be at least one Immortal Species? Why didn’t you think each container holds a Giant Dragon!” Triss yelled inwardly but merely exhaled and said, “Yes, indeed all are Short-lived Species. There’s no choice, after so many years of containment, Immortal Species have completely vanished, Immortal Species have become rare, only Short-lived Species are relatively easy to locate. However, as things are progressing, soon enough the Short-lived Species will become rare too—after all, two of the three categories were found in the remote North Wilderness of the Main Continent.”
“Is that so, well then, come with me.” The man with glasses did not bother further, and turned to walk towards the black gate.
Triss raised his hand and gestured to the black ship beside him, Spell released, numerous Magic Runes on the ship’s surface lit up, slowly lifting it, carrying the three coffins, towards the inside of the gate.
Triss and the dozen or so companions followed quickly, soon disappearing inside the gate.
Behind Triss, the gate closed at ten times the speed it opened, finally becoming a seamless stone wall with a resounding noise.
Inside the gate is a vast, crowded world filled with darkness.
Here, the flat and solid ground stretches endlessly, as if it reaches the ends of the earth. The overhead has no physical obstructions, but the higher it goes, the darker it becomes, eventually merging with the starless night sky.
Large, regular black structures stand here, resembling horizontal Tombstones, each tens of meters wide, hundreds of meters tall, and several kilometers long.
These “Tombstone”-like structures intersect densely, like walls, suffocatingly oppressive, making even breathing uneven.
After entering, Triss and his companions fall into endless silence, no one speaks, only zigzagging through. Besides the “rustle” of footsteps, only a somewhat heavy “huff huff” breathing can be heard.
After walking for ten minutes, Triss couldn’t resist, his mouth twitching, wanting to ask the man with glasses how much longer until they reached the place.
Just then, the man with glasses in the lead suddenly stopped, looking at Triss and pointing to a nearby “Tombstone” structure, “This is it—the containment area for the North Soul-Sucking Crocodile and Lu Ke Three-eyed Evil Leopard.”
While speaking, the man with glasses approached the “Tombstone,” placing a hand on it.
The “Tombstone” shook, and where the man with glasses touched, a Black Hole suddenly opened, pitch black, leading to an unknown place.
The man with glasses waved gently and to Triss said, “Place the containers with the North Soul-Sucking Crocodile and Lu Ke Three-eyed Evil Leopard inside.”
“Alright.” Triss said, gesturing, and with his companions, moved towards the floating black ship, lifting one large and one small silver-white coffin from it, sending them into the “Tombstone”-opened Black Hole.
The coffins entered the “Tombstone,” and the Tombstone emitted a series of gear-turning sounds, rapidly consuming the coffins.
Then it returned to silence, the opened Black Hole also closing.
“Then we only have the Yam Dark Rat left.” The man with glasses murmured to himself, “Hmm, it seems the containment area for this Superbirth Species is somewhat remote.”
Without a word to Triss, the man with glasses stepped forward again.
Behind him, Triss glared fiercely at the man with glasses but ultimately said nothing and followed with the companions.
This time, the walk was even longer, as they trekked half an hour through the world within the gate, arriving at an even taller “Tombstone” nearby.
In a similar operation, the “Tombstone” opened a Black Hole, swallowing the coffin containing the Yam Dark Rat, then returned to tranquility.
The man with glasses nodded slightly, turned to Triss and the others, “Alright, this containment task is complete, now I’ll send you out. By the way, I advise you not to look around recklessly since we’re a bit close to the danger zone here; if anything happens, I won’t be responsible.”
“Danger zone?” Triss’ heart moved at this, instinctively tilting his head and looking into the distance.
His sight passed through one “Tombstone” after another and saw extremely far away, a few massive black shadows looming. The shape of those shadows was indiscernible, but their volume was as vast as mountain ranges, even from afar, they emanated a soul-trembling aura.
Just a glance made Triss quickly lower his head, his heart racing, taking him quite a while to calm down. Then a sharp, pricking pain arose deep in his mind, prompting him to clench his teeth.
Damn, this is a Soul wound… Triss thought.
Then he heard the man with glasses beside him sigh lightly, as if implying something, “I told you not to look around recklessly, but you keep seeking trouble.”
Triss endured the pain, looked at the man with glasses, raised an eyebrow and asked, “Who are you talking about?”

“I didn’t look around recklessly.” Triss said word by word, “You have no evidence, don’t talk nonsense.”
“No evidence, huh, hehe!” The man with glasses chuckled lightly, leaned close to Triss and adjusted his glasses while speaking calmly, “Did you know, the glasses I’m wearing not only grant me Extraordinary Vision, insight into invisibility, detection of disguise, identification of camouflage, but also a rather unique ability, Mind Reading. In other words, as long as I look at you, I can hear what you’re saying in your mind, got it?”
“Mind Reading?” Triss’ face changed slightly, then recalling the things he said in his mind before entering the gate, his expression turned extremely ugly, and his headache became worse.
“Heh!” The man with glasses chuckled again, as if nothing had happened, and walked forward.
A few seconds later, Triss and his companions followed, somewhat discomfited.
