"You know, you shouldn’t be here," said the middle-aged male wizard, looking at Bobbobovic, his voice slightly hoarse.
"Actually, that’s what I was thinking—you shouldn’t be here either," Bobbobovic responded.
"But it doesn’t matter now," the middle-aged wizard continued, "Since you are here, don’t think about leaving."
"Ha," Bobbobovic voiced as he looked at the middle-aged wizard, "Are you sure? Right now, I want exactly the opposite of what you want, I really want to leave this place. And you absolutely cannot stop me."
"Really?" the middle-aged wizard, staring intently at Bobbobovic for a while, scoffed, "You seem to be a Level One Wizard, and I am a Second-Level Wizard. Do you really think I can’t stop you?"
"Who told you I’m a Level One Wizard?" Bobbobovic countered, looking up, "I’m merely disguised as a Level One on the surface, but in fact, I am a Third-Level Wizard!"
"Third-Level Wizard?" the middle wizard’s lips curled, skeptical, "If you really are a Third-Level wizard, then I’d like to try out my new spell. Why don’t you let me see what you can do."
After saying this, the middle-aged wizard sharply raised his hand and clenched his fist. From behind him in the woods, the trees rustled loudly, "hu-la-la," as countless branches broke off like dense spears, flying swiftly toward Bobbobovic.
Upon closer inspection, each twig was faintly wrapped in a cyan energy, emitting an extremely sharp aura. To treat them as mere twigs would clearly be a big mistake.
Bobbobovic was not careless. Seeing the branches flying towards him, his expression tightened, he cursed under his breath, and quickly activated magic tools in the form of a bracelet on his wrist. An energy shield formed, heading toward the branches, then he turned and ran.
While running, he took out a finger-thick glass bottle from his chest, opened the stopper, and quickly poured the potion inside into his mouth, swallowing it swiftly.
"Don’t be smug, I’m warning you, I really am a Third-Level Wizard! Just give me one minute, no, half a minute to prepare, and I will beat you like a dog!"
Bobbobovic shouted, running even faster.
The middle-aged wizard, hearing this and seeing his attack blocked by Bobbobovic’s magic tool, snorted coldly, leaped high into the air like a large bird, and swiftly closed in on Bobbobovic.
"Are you really a Third-Level Wizard? Then I am a Level 4 Wizard! Let me see how your Third-Level Wizard withstands my attacks!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the middle-aged wizard waved his hand, and a purple bolt of lightning shot toward Bobbobovic on the ground.
Bobbobovic rolled, avoiding the strike in complete dishevelment, then once again took out a potion bottle from his chest, opened it, and poured the contents into his mouth.
"Panting...," Bobbobovic performed magic, running and dodging along the ground, occasionally finding the chance to drink down another bottle of potion. After this chase, Bobbobovic became utterly miserable.
His clothes, under the relentless attacks of the middle-aged wizard, had become tattered and torn, some areas corroded by acid liquid, some burnt by flames. It could be said that even if he took his clothes off and offered them to a beggar, the beggar might not accept them.
Bobbobovic’s face, exposed to the elements, was covered in dust and grime. His back and ribs each bore a wound inflicted by a Wind Blade, continuously seeping blood.
But Bobbobovic kept dodging, like a stubborn and cunning rat, undergoing a barrage of spells from the middle-aged Warlock, avoiding attacks by any means possible, seeking every opportunity to gulp down one potion bottle after another.
The middle-aged Warlock in the air frowned deeply. He was unclear about Bobbobovic’s intentions and why he persisted in fleeing, but his patience was gradually wearing thin; he did not want to waste a whole night.
Taking a deep breath, the middle-aged Wizard shouted, "I advise you to stop struggling. You are clearly a First-level Wizard, definitely no match for me! The best outcome for you is to die under my attack, understand? So, die!"
As he spoke, the middle-aged Wizard fiercely clenched his fist, and a blue lightning column as thick as a bucket fiercely struck down towards Bobbobovic.
This was clearly a lethal strike!
At that moment, Bobbobovic suddenly stopped running, not dodging anymore, and watched the lightning column with a smile.
"Finally, I’ve managed to last until now, finally giving me a chance! Just one last potion bottle, and soon you’ll know whether I’m a Third-level Wizard!"
Muttering to himself, Bobbobovic was engulfed by the lightning. But just before being consumed, he managed to pull another potion bottle from his chest and poured it into his mouth.
A golden light pierced through the lightning column and shattered it with a thunderous roar.
Bobbobovic’s body, wrapped in golden light, soared into the sky, rising higher than the middle-aged Warlock. From his higher vantage point, Bobbobovic, exuding immense strength, yelled, "You want me to die? Ha, you’re still too weak! Now, I want to see who will truly die!"
"You—" The middle-aged Wizard stared at Bobbobovic, clearly surprised. Feeling the waves of mana emanating from Bobbobovic’s body, he widened his eyes and asked, "Are you... are you really a Third-level Wizard?"
"What else?" Bobbobovic looked up, gazing down at the middle-aged Warlock through his nostrils. "I said I’m a Third-level Wizard, so naturally, I am a Third-level Wizard. I never lie!"
"Why were you pretending to be a First-level Wizard all along?" the middle-aged Warlock, having recovered his composure, looked at Bobbobovic as if he were a fool, irritably asking, "Are you sick?"
Bobbobovic grew even more annoyed. "Why do you care so much! Now, you are in my hands, do you understand? Now, I’ll give you a choice: tell me why you attacked me without any reason. If you clarify that, I might consider letting you go."
The middle-aged Wizard listened to Bobbobovic, his eyes flickering as if deeply contemplating, and he remained silent for a long time.
After waiting for a while, Bobbobovic lost his patience and looked askance at the middle-aged Wizard: "Hey, you’re not trying to stall for time, are you? I warn you, if you don’t speak up, I will really take action! Of course, out of kindness, I might let you run for a while first."
"Really?" asked the middle-aged Warlock, looking up.
"Of course." Bobbobovic, with a hint of vindictive gaze, said, "After all, my power far exceeds yours. Letting you run for a while, I can still catch up, and let you experience what I just felt.
