Blinding golden light!
Golden light shot out from inside the metal gloves, the whole metal glove vibrated violently, making a "buzzing" sound, and then with a "crash," it disintegrated completely.
Yes, the gloves disintegrated entirely, as if they had been specifically processed, turning into ninety-nine complete fragments, each shard wrapped in golden light, like a swarm of golden-winged butterflies, swiftly flying towards Muse.
Muse’s eyes widened to their fullest, watching the golden light flying towards her, she pulled her hands through the air, as if tearing open the entire space.
A vast expanse of electric light appeared in front of her, woven into a dense electric net, as if it could destroy all physical attacks.
But the ninety-nine fragments seemed to dematerialize, unaffected, passing through the terrifying electric net, and then adhering to her body surface.
The first fragment had just stuck to Muse’s body when her expression drastically changed, her pupils constricted, and she screamed, "No!"
But it was of no use, the second fragment followed closely, then the third, the fourth... until all ninety-nine fragments were affixed to various parts of Muse’s body.
Muse’s screams turned into roars, strange sounds emanated from deep within her throat, powerful energy burst forth from inside her, attempting to destroy the fragments. But the fragments released an even stronger golden light, the golden lights merged with one another, and finally, the golden light engulfed Muse entirely.
Within the golden light, one could faintly see Muse waving her limbs struggling, after which the strength of her struggles weakened, and eventually, it ceased.
Suddenly, as if the energy was exhausted, the golden light retracted from the ninety-nine fragments at once, and the fragments themselves became dim and full of cracks.
Sounds rang out as the fragments fell off Muse’s body one by one, hitting the ground.
Muse stood on the ground, looking at Richard, her eyes dull and lifeless. At this moment, the mighty aura emanating from her body had completely vanished, no different from an ordinary person, no, even less than an ordinary person.
Muse staggered forward, like an old person, trying to approach Richard. As she moved, the fragments still adhering to her body accelerated their fall.

Muse had died, Richard thought, looking at the body on the ground. There was not much fluctuation in his heart because he had anticipated this outcome when he was in the underground palace of the Black Spirit King’s ultimate treasure.
The fragments of golden light just now did not cause Muse any substantial damage but rather took Muse’s life with an inexplicable force through an esoteric method that could not be resisted.
This was the terrifying aspect of Prediction Magic; before being fully deciphered, it was almost like a divine spell, which indeed matched the name of this top-tier Prediction Magic—"Divine Retribution."
"Divine Retribution" was the full version of the attack from the Destruction Gloves. A pair of "Destruction Gloves" could only be used once. As the symbol and hope of the Black Spirit Empire’s restoration, if it could not resolve an existence like Muse, then there really was no reason for the Black Spirit Empire to go through such great lengths.
Richard guessed that Muse was likely a middle-tier member of the Supreme Order Divine Society, who had dealt quite a bit with the Black Spirit Empire in the past. The main target in creating the "Destruction Gloves" by the Black Spirit King was probably people like Muse. Therefore, being hit by the full attack of the "Destruction Gloves," Muse’s death was a certainty. Perhaps only members of the Supreme Order Divine Society, stronger than Muse, could resist, but such beings must be few.
Thinking so, Richard slightly lifted his head and looked towards the distant sky, where numerous members of the Supreme Order Divine Society were flying over, apparently all subordinates of Muse.

It took quite a while before Franklin accepted the fact and looked at Richard to confirm, asking, "Was it you... gulp... who killed the Muse Housekeeper?"
"Yes," Richard answered.
"Then do you realize what you’ve done?" Franklin suddenly changed his tone, "Do you understand the magnitude of the trouble you’ve caused? Do you realize whom you’ve provoked? The Muse Housekeeper was one of our people from the Supreme Order Divine Society! Do you know what the Supreme Order Divine Society represents? It represents the highest supreme Order, and you dared to provoke us—you’re definitely doomed! Even if you are very powerful, even if you wield great magic that can somehow kill the Muse Housekeeper, you are still doomed! Because you are merely a slightly stronger bug, you cannot defeat a God!"
Towards the end, Franklin shouted out loud, his whole demeanor somewhat uncontrolled. Part of it was panic; Muse’s death was completely unexpected, leaving him unsure of what to do. On the other hand, he was frightened; he was very aware of Muse’s strength. And Richard had killed Muse? How powerful was Richard? He could only use words to maintain his calm.
