Gwen bolted from the bed, her heart pounding in her chest.
Her legs carried her as fast as they could, but compared to Ross’s lightning-fast reflexes, she might as well have been standing still.
His hand caught her wrist mid-stride, yanking her back with a force that sent her sprawling onto the bed once more.
Before she could regain her bearings, Ross was already on her.
The soft mattress sank under their combined weight as he pinned her down, his body a cage she couldn’t escape.
His lips descended on hers, a fierce and unrelenting kiss that made her stomach churn with both fear and defiance.
"Argh!" Gwen fought back, her teeth snapping at his lips in a desperate attempt to push him away.
But Ross didn’t even flinch. His lips pressed harder, more demanding, as if he relished the challenge.
When his tongue slid against her lips, seeking entry, she bit down as hard as she could, hoping to hurt him—hoping to make him stop.
But her teeth might as well have been striking steel. No matter how much force she used, she couldn’t draw blood or even a wince of pain from him.
Her thoughts spiraled as panic clawed at her.
"How is this possible? Is he even human?" The question screamed in her mind, louder than the sound of her own frantic breathing.
Ross’s eyes, sharp and unwavering, bore into hers, and Gwen’s resistance began to falter.
There was something otherworldly about him—something that made her skin crawl and her heart ache with dread.
He wasn’t just strong; he was impossibly strong.
As her struggling slowed, her mind raced with horrifying possibilities.
"What is he? A monster? A demon? Something worse?" The thought hit her like a cold slap, her body trembling beneath him as despair began to take root.
Tears pricked the corners of her eyes as she realized just how powerless she was.
No matter how hard she fought, it was as if the universe itself was working against her.
Every instinct screamed for her to run, to escape, but deep down, she knew it was futile.
For the first time in her life, Gwen truly felt what it meant to be helpless. The realization chilled her to the bone.

The truth crept in, slow and insidious, shaking her to her core. Ross wasn’t human—at least not entirely.
That realization broke something inside her, leaving her drowning in despair.
"Mmm..." Gwen moaned weakly, her trembling hands pressing against Ross’s chest in one final, desperate attempt to push him away.
But her effort was futile. His body was solid and immovable, like trying to shift a mountain rooted in the earth for millennia.
Her arms soon fell limp at her sides, and with them, the last shred of her resistance seemed to dissolve.
Her eyes fluttered shut as despair crept in. She tried to retreat into her memories, conjuring images of simpler, happier days.
For a brief moment, she succeeded. But the warmth spreading through her body snapped her back to reality, refusing to let her escape.
Her eyes shot open as Ross’s tongue slid into her mouth again. A jolt of shock ran through her. How could this be happening?
She felt feverish, her skin tingling everywhere he touched. Her body betrayed her, turning soft and pliant as though she were melting beneath him.
Desperation surged again, and she pushed back with her own tongue, trying to force his out.
It worked, but only for a fleeting second before his dominance overwhelmed her once more.
"Ahhh!" Gwen gasped aloud when his lips left hers, only to trail lower.
He peppered her neck and collarbone with playful bites, each one sending a sharp shiver through her.
Her breath hitched, and a blush spread across her skin.
She hated how her body responded—heat pooling low in her stomach, her heart pounding uncontrollably.
She gritted her teeth, trying to summon the strength to resist.
But Ross’s kisses were relentless, his lips grazing over her sensitive skin, his teeth nipping just enough to leave her trembling.
Her mind was a whirlwind of confusion and fear. Was he trying to break her entirely?
When his lips claimed hers again, the kiss was different—deeper, hungrier. This wasn’t just a kiss; it was an invasion.
His tongue explored her mouth with a ferocity that left no corner untouched.
Her gums, her teeth, the roof of her mouth—nothing was spared.
And then his tongue pressed further, teasing the back of her throat. Gwen panicked, her chest tightening as her lungs screamed for air.
She squirmed, her body writhing beneath him, but Ross only pulled back at the last moment, letting her gasp for oxygen before diving in again.
This torturous rhythm continued, her breaths coming in short, desperate bursts. Each time she thought she might pass out, he’d relent just enough to keep her conscious.
It was unbearable, draining her completely. Her arms felt like lead, her legs trembling from sheer exhaustion.
By the time Ross finally eased his grip, Gwen was utterly spent.
With a swift motion, Ross shifted her.
"Whoosh!" Suddenly, she found herself straddling his hips, her body pressed firmly against his.
Her muscles refused to cooperate; she couldn’t even lift herself to escape. She collapsed onto his chest, helpless and trembling.
Ross tilted her chin up, capturing her lips in another kiss. This one was slower, yet no less intense.
Gwen hesitated, her mind screaming at her to resist, but her body betrayed her once again.
As his tongue brushed against hers, she responded instinctively, meeting him in a hesitant dance.
This time, he didn’t push too far. His tongue didn’t invade her throat again, and for that, she was grateful.
Instead, they remained locked in a sensual game, their tongues entwining, teasing, and exploring.
She felt herself sinking deeper into the moment, her thoughts growing hazy.
"What’s happening to me?" Gwen wondered as her body reacted against her will.
