Roxanne twiddled with her fingers as she sat at the corner seat while the receptionist gave her an encouraging smile. After talking to Serena the previous day the girl came to realize that the least she could do was to meet Darius and thank him personally. His oncoming was a stroke of luck.
"Miss Scavo, you have been waiting for the past four hours. Why don't you take an appointment and I can call you tomorrow or a day afterwards?"
The sweet girl could not help the unconscious pout that came upon her luscious soft petals looking like the reddest of the roses. Her school would start after some days now that she was rejoining. With the canvas paintings she had to illustrate for the upcomig exhibition to the new responsibility of education the nymph truly wished to express her gratitude to her benefactor without any delay.
"Can I please wait?" She asked hesitantly but before the woman can reply the lift beside the reception opened with a ding and the said man came out with other judicial members. It was not the personal residence of Darius but an office reserved for the legal branch organizations.
Roxanne looked at him as if for the first time, her mouth gaping open.
Earlier she had paid absolutely no attention to how he looked because her ideology of men has never been perfect with how they turned out to be in her life but now that she knew how much trouble he had gone through for a stranger like her who was not even worthy of his time all her perceptions about him changed as if she watched him in a new light.
Absolutely stunning, by far he was the most magnificent male she have ever seen. Those silver irises domineering and dominating the men twice his age as his muscular stature towered over them ordering in that voice of his. She would be a liar to say that she did not had a crush on him.
Her first crush
She had been stalking him from past two weeks on social media, following all his accounts before she could collect all her courage as soft as a dandelion flower, concentrate it into something more solid and finally appear infront of him.
He looked much better in real. Roxanne wanted to go to an eye specialist and seriously consider checking of her green almond eyes that did not saw how nice he was in the first meeting.
Dark stubble covering his jaw made him look more like a mafia leader than a legislature judge.
When the man completely turned around after having a heated debate he almost did not noticed the soft angel with her mouth slightly parted looking at him....more like drooling at him.
"Roxanne" Darius went closer to her as she rose from her seat making her small petite body look small in comparison to his.
"S-Sir...you remember me?" She tilted her head slightly looking up at him, a sparkle in her beautiful forest irises happy that he still had her remembered. It was more than two months and he must be meeting people like her every now and then so it wasn't as if she was something special.
"Its not everyday that I meet an angel." As soon as those words escaped his curved lips, a scarlet hue covered Roxanne's cheek making her giggle shyly.
"I just came to thank you Sir, you did a lot for me and I wanted to just say that I am truly blessed that I met you at that day in the park." Darius did not wanted to admit but he had thought about her a lot. For once in his life he was truly content with his actions.
"You are most welcome sweetheart but let me ask you.....since how long are you waiting for me?" It was 9 PM almost and their office restricted non working people entering after five....did that small petite doll waited for so many hours just for him?
"I- I waited for sometime." Darius sighed watching her eyes looking at him keenly for his reaction. Her curly red hair was ruffled and shoulders slumped from exhaustion. She might not realize it now that she was excited but as soon as she would go home, Darius was sure she would be out as light.
"Will you do me a favor love?" He spread palm infront of her making her look at him in slight confusion and hesitation before she placed her small hand in his slowly looking at his silver irises for approval.
"We are going to eat something in my car and I am going to drop you home alright?"

He bought her a simple double cheese burger with French fries and lots of ketchup.
Roxanne looked at the tray placed in her lap before looking at his side profile while he was driving the black mustang.
"Aren't you hungry too?"
"No I ate my lunch late today sweetheart."
"T-Then b-buying me dinner and dropping me h-home isn't it another favor on m-me? How am I going to repay you sir?"
"You don't have to repay me anything angel and the name is Darius." Roxanne bit her lip as his glimmering liquid silver eyes looked at her as his one hand tapped the tray as if asking her to eat.
"Darius" She whispered loving his name. It suited him thoroughly.
"I have an art exhibition upcoming on this Saturday in the Kyrs Mansion. W-Will you be my special guest? I-Its totally not a necessity!- but I would love you to come and see."
Darius was surprised with how easily she had proposed this, as if it was no big deal. The contributors and managers of Kyrs were the toughest people to work with and only the best of the best artworks were allowed to be placed there. This small little nymph had that whole hall to her name and still appeared to be so humble....he felt exceptionally proud.
"Then I guess we are meeting on this Saturday princess." and the widest grin she gave him was worth the list of five major cases that he was going to drop on Saturday for her.
