“Haha, haha, Time Sand Heaven Lord, I, the Saint Fire Lord, will not yield!” The murderer was laughing hysterically towards the sky.
As the sun set, darkness enveloped the lands. Soon after, the night scattered and morning arrived. All the villagers reappeared without any injuries. The streets no longer had any blood or corpses. It felt as though everything that happened yesterday was just a dream.
“It is happening again, kill!” The murderer started another massacre.
“A time loop. This day will be repeated forever. So this is what’s happening.”
Seeing everything, Li Fuchen was enlightened.
The Time Prison formed its own world and the time law in this world was completely controlled by the Time Sand Heaven Lord. Once anyone was imprisoned, they could only suffer the same torment over and over, until they were either numb or lost their original memories.
“What business do you have here?”
It was unknown when a gray-robed man appeared beside Li Fuchen.
The gray robes were seemingly weaved with sand and there was sand scattering from the edges of the robes.
“I just wish to witness the mysteries of the Time Prison.” Li Fuchen turned around and smiled as he replied.
“Oh? Since you are interested, why don’t you visit the ninth layer? There is where the quintessence of the Time Prison lies.” The gray-robed man extended his hand with an inviting gesture.
“Please lead the way.” Li Fuchen nodded.
Hearing the response, the gray-robed man waved his hand and the village scene vanished. The duo was brought to a sand city filled with fog.
Turning around, Li Fuchen realized the gray-robed man had vanished.
“Trying to trap me in there?” Li Fuchen raised his brows.
Above the sand city, the gray-robed man waved his hand and a cup of exquisite wine appeared in his hand.
“How can my Time Prison be so easy to barge in? If it is, it would have been torn down already. So what if he is a star domain-level heaven lord, as long as he isn’t an elite star domain-level heaven lord, it wouldn’t be possible to leave the ninth layer.”
