The only thing they’ll have to give in return for accommodation, resources, an extremely good cultivation environment, friendly people who won’t hesitate to help you, and all other basic needs such as food and clothes will be complete loyalty, being nice to other members, and provide whatever service they have to the Eternal Peak at half the price.
For example, an Alchemist of the Eternal Peak could only sell a pill concocted by him to the Eternal Peak or another member of the Eternal Peak at half its price. Meaning that if it was 10 Low-Grade Spirit Stones, he can only sell it at 5 Low-Grade Spirit Stones.
Then the Eternal Peak can sell it in the outside world at the price of 10 Low-Grade Spirit Stones.
The Alchemist can also directly sell it outside, and he won’t have to give up any of the profits either, but that’ll be only when he’ll have enough influence and connections in the outside world.
Besides, any grateful person won’t do that.
After he becomes an official Alchemist with a sucess rate of more than 30% when refining pills, then he’ll have to pay for the ingredients and resources for his Alchemy by himself.
Maybe all this can be evolved into something much bigger. Something like a cultivation business empire for the Eternal Peak and a good source of income for them.

What if a rogue cultivator who took Talisman Refining as his profession couldn’t make any progress even after years, and then changed to another profession but couldn’t make any progress in that too, and repeated the same process? Wouldn’t the Eternal Peak be basically burning resources by that point?

After the recent incidents and when the plot of Li Chung and Mo Chao was revealed to the world, both the White Firmament Sect and the Sky Sword Sect suffered great backlashes.
And even though most of their members, including the Sect Masters did not know about what exactly had their Supreme Elders been scheming, they still had to compensate the Yan Immortal Dynasty for it to save whatever face they had left.
As a result, both the Infernal Blaze Sect and Yan Immortal Family received quite a huge load of resources and Spirit Stones from them. Naturally, they won’t just keep all those things for themselves since they didn’t do anything for them.

All the people present couldn’t help but give him looks. Even though whatever he said was true, saying it infront of the Yan Emperor like that with no respect at all was simply courting death.

These were the words spoken by the emperor of the Yan Immortal Dynasty and a powerful cultivator at the Eighth Stage of Acquired Realm! No matter how lawless they were, his statement just couldn’t be taken lightly by them!
Even the young man who questioned Yan Zhangwei before felt somewhat shocked before he nodded his head. He didn’t even bow, forget about cupping his fists and apologizing for his rudeness from earlier.
