Yan Jingfei finally calmed down after her initial emotional outburst. Thinking back about it right now and seeing Tian Yongheng’s face, she felt deeply embarrassed and shrunk down like a tortoise in its shell. Her face was burning in a deep shade of red, and she was deeply ashamed at her actions.
I really wish I could find a hole to bury my head in...
"M-master..I.." She stuttered as she spoke.
"Have you calmed down yet?" Tian Yongheng asked her in a smooth and calming tone of voice, his hands gently caressing her head.
Yan Jingfei slowly returned to normal from her flustered state, quickly standing up and cupping her fists.
"I’m really sorry for my actions, master! I can’t believe I showed you such an unruly sight." Looking into her eyes, they were extremely sincere about the apology.
Her gaze darted to the corner of Tian Yongheng’s robe which had gotten moist due to her tears. But the next moment, it dried up and became exactly like how it was before.
This was another one of the functions of the Purple Silk Robe that Tian Yongheng had.
"It’s alright. By the way, I still haven’t given you anything even though it’s been quite a while since you became my disciple. Right now, I don’t have much supreme treasures, so make do with these." He said as he took out a few things from the system space.
Yan Jingfei was slightly astonished seeing him pull out things from the air, as only cultivators at the Void Refinement Realm or above could mess with the supernatural laws to create separate spaces and such. Only beings of that level could create storage items like the Storage Ring with limited space inside of them.
But Tian Yongheng was not in the Void Refinement Realm and neither did he use any storage item, so how was this possible?
Once again, Yan Jingfei saw things which transcended her understanding and left her with many questions, but she also came back to the same answer as quickly.

Then, Tian Yongheng handed her the following items: 7 bottles of Foundation Establishment Pills, the Lightning Chain, and a tree sapling.

Being a former Immortal Ascension Realm expert, this was her first time seeing such things. Combined with her originally curious nature, it was inevitable for her to ask these things.
Shit! The System didn’t told me what the Lightning Chain was made of! Weren’t all Dharma Artifacts supposed to be like this? Are all things given out by the System so high profile?

"Mhm. As you might’ve already guessed, the Lightning Chain was made of precious materials and also has a trace of the heavenly tribulation inside of it. It was combined with a Natural Treasure as it’s base to give it its current form. That was uncountable years ago, and since my cultivation is still too weak, I don’t remember many things about that.
Not to mention that most of my past is covered in heavenly secrets which should not be revealed to beings of lower cultivation as much as possible."
In an instant, he quickly made up an explanation using all the elements he knew exceeded Yan Jingfei’s knowledge.
