Unknowingly for Mya, Mr. Hansel saw her from the distance as she approached the control room. He sneered. "You're biting more than you can chew, Mya Roberts" He cautioned with a roguish glare.
Laura at the other hand, thought of how to stop Mya as well so not to get her at risk. Just then, it dawned on her. "Oh, no, Mya !" She howled with a flashed gaze which made Rubin and Alixies, flinch.
"What's with her now?" Alixies queried, expectantly.
"She's headed to the control room at the moment– She's going for the footage of that day" She explained and Alixies gasped. Rubin stared at them with a furrowed brow, confused at their expression.
"What's wrong with that, Laura?– That will even make it easy for us to get that justice we want" He stated which brought the roguish frown of the girls on him.
"You seem not to get anything, Rubin" Alixi exclaimed. "That place was declared out of boundaries for both stuff and students after that day " She explained.
"They'll become even more suspicions of her if she's seen there– Get it?" Laura queried.
"Let's go stop her then" He suggested and they nodded. " Sure, let's go" They howled.
Alixies hastened ahead and Rubin followed with Laura. Just when they were about to exit, she glanced back but saw only Rubin, forgetting she was able to see Laura because she had earlier held Rubin's hand as a medium of visibility.
"Where is Laura?" She asked with a flashed gaze, pausing in her tracks. Rubin stared, a bit confused for a moment. "What do you mean, Alixi?" He stuttered as he swiftly glanced at Laura who stood next to him.
"Can't you see, Laura is not here!– Where the hell is she?"
Rubin tilted his head towards his right side. "Here, of course– Can we go now?"
"Oh, right, I forgot– Let's go" She rushed ahead. Laura glanced at him with a smile and they both followed her out.
" She sure act strange at times" Rubin's voice faded in the distance.

Ferdinand, the head of the control room department involuntary turned towards the direction of the door, following the sound of it's crack. Mya instinctively smiled just when her eyes met his and slipped in. He was a bit surprised, seeing her there since both the stuff and students were forbidden from coming there.
"Hi, Ferdinard ?– Good morning " She stuttered with slightly tucked chin and a composed gaze. Her darted eyes spontaneously scanned across the monitors displayed in the room.
"He's the only one here for now" She mumbled in her thoughts. "Got to find a way to get him out of here." She steepled her fingers with unwarranted smiles as she trod over.
He swiftly knee–jerked to his feet while she neared.
"Good morning, Miss Mya– What brings you here" He eluded with a creased and fixed here. Mya chuckled.
"Oh, why look all surprise? " She stuttered. "Mrs Pearl asked to see you – That's why I'm here. I guess it's urgent."
"Right now?– At this instant?But why didn't she call?" He asked, looking a bit worried. She tilted head with steady eye contact and raised eyebrows.
"Oh, she said your phone was off. But why that look?– You seem worried; any problem? Maybe I can help out "
" Really?" He instinctively reached out for his phone. Mya involuntary held on her breath with darting eyes. "Oh, you're right; don't know when it went off" He stated with furrowed brow and She involuntary let out a faint whoop of relieve. "That was a close one" She whispered in a simper.
"Well, the thing is–" He swiftly stroked the nape of his neck with a sheepish grin. "I got issues with the lock of the door and Harry had gone out to find someone to get it fix– The others are not yet in from lunch break." He explained. "I can't just leave it like this; I might get into trouble if the Principal finds out."
She glanced over his shoulder with a raised eyebrow.
"Um, well– I can help if you don't mind." She smiled.
"Thanks, that sure is appreciated – I'll be back in a blink" He howled and rushed out. She spontaneously pumped her fist in the air with a whoop and rushed over to one of the monitors seated on the table without a second thought or hesitation.
Laura, Rubin and Alixies noticed Ferdinand approach from the distance, few minutes after Mya had gone in.
"Where is she?– Why isn't she coming out?" Alixies stuttered.
"I guess she bought herself some time" Rubin answered.
"Yeah, I know , Mya– She goes all out when she want something but always bad at covering her back." Laura stated. "I'm sure it's the same case here. Let's follow him"
They nodded and crept after him.

Mr Hansel kept watch at the door, waiting for her exit. Just then, he saw Ferdinand emerge alone without her. "What the hell is he doing, leaving that brat in there?" He roared with a clenched fist and a flushed gaze; His veins throbbed in his neck.
Not wasting time, he hastened towards the control room.
Mya on the other hand, had already gone through most of the folders but yet no sign of the date of her sister's incident. She swiftly flipped through a few files with darted eyes and shallow rapid breath. Her hands trembled on the keypads.
"Gosh, where the hell could this be" She cried with anxiety. "I'm literally going crazy right now– I don't have that much of a time."
She aggressively run her hands through her hair as she tucked a lock behind her ear with straightened back. Just then, she noticed a folder which looked a bit different from the others. She paused, her brow furrowed with narrow eyes.
"Why is this folder looking different? " She wondered. "Well, let's see what we've got here."
The door suddenly racked open, just when she clicked on the folder. Mya flinched, letting out a silent scream as she instinctively jerked out of her seat.
"What are you doing, Miss Mya?" a voice called from the door.
