Bella was feeling restless. She was feeling like something was about to happen. She looked at the clock. It was almost 9 pm. Nevertheless, no news about Levi. She was worried. She tried to call Levi thousands of times but there was no reply. And now she couldn't call him as it kept seeing it was switched off. She was pissed at him. She said, "If you were busy at least say si. Here, I am worried sick. And from the morning she was feeling nausea." She could not eat anything. She thought maybe due to stress she was like that. But her heart kept on beating. Today around four pm she was holding a glass and it slipped from her hand. It fell and broke into little pieces. She unknowingly touched it and cut her hand. From then on, she was feeling restless. She kept on looking at the clock, door and phone. It was like a habit. At 1 am, she heard a bell. She woke up. As she falls asleep on the sofa. First she ignored it. She thought Levi knew the password so he would not ring the bell. Again, the bell rang. She got afraid. She thought maybe Edward's men came to take her. She went near the door. She was about to open the door when she remembered there was a peep hole in the door. She looked into it and saw a man but could not see his face clearly. He was wearing black shirt. She thought that she should not open the door when she saw that man pressed the password and it said, "Password is correct." Bella was shocked to see he got it correct in one go. She moved back. She searched for something to defend. It was dark outside. She thought to call the police but first she needed to find a weapon. She saw a flower vase near the sofa. She took it and was ready to hit him with that. The door opened slowly. Bella held the vase more tightly. The shadow fell on the carpet. She raised the vase. She was about to hit that person's head when a hand held the vase. She shouted, "Leave me." She tried to move but he held her tightly. Then she heard, "Stop." This voice. She felt like she heard it somewhere. She looked up and saw Roy was there. His eyes were bloodshot and she could find tearstains. However, the most interesting part was Roy's face. The surprise on his face was evident. Like he could not believe it. When Bella saw that it was Roy she stopped shouting. She said, "It was you. I thought it was a thief." Roy was still looking at her. As if he could not believe that, she was there. Bella felt uncomfortable under his gaze. She said, "Come in please." She was about to move back when Roy held her and pulled her. She was shocked. They were so close that they could feel each other's heartbeat. Bella felt uncomfortable and said, "Can you leave me?" She looked at the door and said, "Where is Levi?" Hearing Levi's name Roy came to sense. He asked, "Why are you here?" Bella said, "I am here because Levi took me there. But where is Levi? Why is he not receiving my phone call? I called him at least hundreds of times. Moreover, where is my sister? Did you find her?" Bella boomed him with questions. However, Roy was only looking at her. It felt like he could not understand what Bella was talking about. Sue got irritated and said, "Fine. Don't answer." She sat on the sofa and tried to call Levi again. It said the same thing that it was switched off. She got angry and wanted to throw the phone away. Nevertheless, she held back her anger and looked at Roy. She said, "Can you tell me when Levi will come back?" This got his attention. He said, "Are you the one Levi used to love?" Bella got shy. This is the first time someone was asking about Levi and her relationship. She nodded, and then she looked at him and said, "Wait, you didn't come knowing that I am here?" She asked. Roy went near her and said, "Answer me this, since when did you two was in a relationship?" "Why don't you ask that to Levi? I am sure he will answer all your questions." Bella said. She was getting angry. She was thinking why he came if he did not know about their relationship. She was sure Levi would send him. But the shocked look on his face indicated to her that Roy didn't know Bella would be here. Roy said, "He could not answer now." Bella said, "Look, Roy. I know it shocked you. But yes, we were in relationships." "Then why did you get married to Edward? And why are you here now?" Bella stood up from the sofa and said, "This is too much. Why we broke up and why I married Edward and why I am here Levi know about it all. Just ask him. As you might not believe me. But believe in one thing. I love Levi. I never stopped loving him and will continue to love him. He is my life. If you do not approve of our relationship I could understand that. But never doubt my love for him." Roy did not say anything. He kept on looking at her. She said, "Will you say something." Roy nodded and said, "Good news. Your husband is dead." "My husband?" Bella asked. "Edward." Roy replied. "What? Was he in the warehouse? Who killed him?" "Why? Are you sad that your husband is dead?" Bella said, "Although I don't like him as he tortured my sister and my whole family but I wanted him to live the rest of his life in jail. I was not planning to give him an easy death." Roy nodded. She said, "Where is my sister? Did you find her?" Bella looked closely at Roy. He was disheveled. Now that she looked at him, she saw a blood stain on his shirt. And it dried many hours ago. She knew that something happened. She said in a trembling voice, "Where are they?" Roy's voice became constricted. He said, "He is no more." Bella felt like someone ripped her heart out. She said, "What?" Roy replied, "Levi is no more. He is dead." Bella slapped him. She said, "Why are you lying? If you are angry that we hide our relationship and you do not want us to be together just say so. Why did you have to be cruel and lie like that?" Bella's voice cracked. She held Roy's shoulder and said, "Why?" Roy held Bella's shoulder and said, "I didn't lie. Edward shot him in the chest. It pierced his heart. We could not do anything." Bella cried. She fell on the floor. The carpet protects her from the cold floor but who will protect her from this bitter truth? She kept on shaking and said, "No, That's a lie. He can't leave me." She looked at Roy and said, "He promised. He promised to marry me." She wiped her tears and stood up. She took Roy's hand and lead to the bedroom. She opened the dressing room and took out a gown. It was white gown. I have a sweetheart neck. The gown was elegant with its floor touch length. In addition, pearls in the pattern of flowers enhance its beauty. Roy knew what it was. Levi brought these days two years ago. He said that he was buying it for his lover. Roy joked and asked who would wear an old-fashioned dress. The trend changed every month. Levi said that his girlfriend would wear whatever he gave her. And she will love it. Now Bella held the dress, the one Levi loved. Bella said, "Look, isn't it beautiful. He gave it to me. I plan to wear it to my wedding. I even planned the shoes and accessories. He said he would help me to get ready. We were planning to tell you about it soon. We planned to meet with your parents." Roy looked at her and said, "But he is no more." "No. He cannot be. As long as I live he can't die." Roy took the dress from her hand. Bella looked at him. She begged, "Please tell me it was a lie" Roy shook his head. Bella backs away. She backed away until she touched the wall. She kept repeating, "No, no, no, no, no". She held her mouth with both hands and wiped. Roy also cried. He said, "Levi's last request was to see you happy. He wished you to find happiness. He wished you to be protected." Bella laughed and cried. "How stupid! Who will be happy without him?" Bella laughed and said, "I wonder how I could love this stupid man." Roy saw that she was crying. She kept on crying. In addition, there was no word that could console both of their broken souls. So both let the other cry their heart out. As they lost the reason for their life.
I was crying when I wrote this chapter. When the one we love left us, they do not just go by themselves. They took part of us with them. They took the reason for our happiness with them. However, it is the law. We all will leave this beautiful earth one day. So as long as we live, let us all cherish our loved ones. As we know, when we lose them, we will never get them.
