Rose looked outside the car. She remembered that she used to look outside when she was in the asylum. She used to wait for a chance to get out and have her revenge. And today, she will. She held her bag more tightly. Today she will free herself from all this pain and misery. After some time, she noticed that they are outside the city. She asked the driver, "Where are we going?" "Near () beach." The driver replied. "Okay." She said. She knew that Ash plans to have dinner with her. She would be excited and happy if it were one day ago. But everything changed in a day. The car finally came to a stop. The driver got out and helped Rose. She got down from the car and looked around. It is so peaceful. No one is here. She knew that Ash must have booked this beach. She went to the beach and saw a red arrow. It pointed toward the right and said, "Follow it dearly, and you will reach your destiny." Rose knew that this DESTINY would not have a good ending. She followed it. Finally, she reached in front of another arrow. DESTINY is not something we can get easily. You have to work hard for it. If you ever got tired, look back. Sometimes to gain something, we have to stop and look back. It will tell us how far we have come. And this Arrow is pointed toward the back. She turned and saw Ash was standing and laughing behind her. Her heart skipped a beat. No matter how much she wants to hate him but the truth is she still loves him. She cannot see the sadness in those eyes. Ash came near her and said, "You came. I thought you wouldn't come." "You called me. How can I not come?" Rose replied. "I know." He came near her and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Let's go." Rose nodded. She was feeling like crying. She felt like she wanted to kill herself. When he held her hand, she felt safe, not disgusted. Why does she feel like this?? She said she has all the proof she needs, and she came up with not a single confusion. If the world said that Ash was wrong, she would fight for it. But what about now? Will she be able to do it? She thought to ask him. Give him a chance to explain. However, she knew that he would never confess. She asked him that day if they met one another. But he said no. She knew this time he would say no. So she forgot about asking. When she heard, "How is it?" She looked at the table. It was beautiful. She cried. The tears were not stopping. It kept on falling. Ash wiped her tears and said, "Do you like it that much that you are crying?" Rose nodded. "Then when I say this, what will you do?" Ash asked. "Say, what?" Rose asked. He went near the table. His back was in front of her. Rose fumbled and opened her bag's chain. And get the things. She hid it in the dress. Thankfully, it was a gown. So she can hide it easily. Ash came back. He was holding a blue orchid. He came in front of her. He said, "Please tell me after you hear me out." Rose thought,' Is he going to confess about his crime?' But to her surprise, Ash kneeled and looked at her. She understood what was happening. She couldn't believe she was going to be proposed to. After meeting with Ash and falling in love with him, she always pictures them together. They are getting a grand wedding and have cute children. But this dream felt like a nightmare. She was thinking about this when Ash coughed. She returned to the present. Ash said, "I have written many speeches, but now I forget them all. The only thing I remember is that I love you. And I want to protect you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I cannot guarantee that I will make you happy all the time. But I can guarantee that we will be together. In every situation. I want our life based on trust and love. And for this, I present you this blue orchid. The proof of trust and love. Will you, Rose Karim, be my wife?" Rose kept on looking at him. Ash felt uncomfortable and said, "Tell me your answer. You should follow your heart. Remember, I will always support you with any of your decisions." Rose nodded and said, "Okay. I will follow my heart." Ash was about to smile when he saw a gun was pointed at him. Before he could ask what this is all about, he was shot. The sound was deafening. The birds shouted and flew away from the area. The silence was eating away. Ash looked at the rose, and rose was looking at him. Ash then looked at the gun in her hand. She was shaking so badly that she had to hold the gun in both of her hands. Ash looked down. Her white shirt was coated with crimson red blood. The blood was dripping down from his hand. He touched his chest. He was shocked to feel any pain. The only thing that matters was a simple question. And with great difficulty, he asked, "Why?"
Rose was crying. She was shaking too much. When Ash told her to say what she felt and follow her heart, she followed it. She chooses self-respect above love and shoots Ash. She saw that blood coming out of his chest. Blood is making it impossible to identify his white shirt. And when he asked "why," she completely broke down. She sat on the sand and asked back, "You are asking me why? Do you have any idea what I went through? Why did you have to do it? Why did you have to be there that night? Why did you have to be in that room? Why did you have to be my assaulter?" Ash was losing blood. His eyes became unfocused. Still, those questions and her begging kept him awake. "What room?" ash asked. "Are you not in x hotel on my birthday?" Ash nodded. "Are you in room 1111?" Ash tried to remember the room number and nodded again. "Did you try to rape me?" Rose asked. Ash looked at her. Blood was all around them. He said, "You think I tried to rape you?" Rose was about to answer when Ash lost his consciousness. He fell forward on Rose. His head rested on Rose's shoulder. Rose cried and said, "Yes. You were there. Everyone said that you were there. Why do you have to be there? Why do you have to do it? If you hate me, you should have just killed me. But no, you didn't. You took me to hell. Then again, you save me and make me feel heaven. Are you planning to make my life hell again? Is this your plan? To make me speak and make me hopeless all over again." Her white dress was stained with blood. She did not care. She touched his back and patted it. She said, "I loved you. No, I love you. But the crime you did will never make us happy. In this life, we cannot be happy together. So let's die together. She looked at the gun near her. She took the gun. This time it is not shaking. She took it and pointed towards her head. She looked at Ash for the last time and told him, "let's meet another time. In another life, where we don't have to carry our past life burden." A tear fell and touched the blue orchid. She looked at the orchid, which represents love and trust. Now it was stained with red blood. She looked at the ocean. And finally, she looked at the sky. She said, "Please forgive me. I committed a crime. But I am not guilty. I did what I must do. But please, please, in my next life, make us both happy." She felt the cold metal on her hand. She felt the smoothness of the pistol. She looked at Ash's figure. She was holding Ash in one hand and a gun in the other. She finally took a deep breath and pulled the trigger.
BANG!!!!
She felt the darkness surrounding her. The last thing she saw was that she was going far away from Ash. She wanted to shout and asked to get her close to him. She wanted to be near him. But even her last wish was not heard.
A man said, “That was crazy. She tried to kill herself after killing that man.” Another man said, “Yes, you are right. But thank god we arrived on time. If she died we all will be dead too.” They took rose and about to leave. When First man asked, “What about the man?” “Leave him. The way he is bleeding, soon he will meet the god.” Both nodded and took unconscious Rose with them. The blood on Rose’s hand dripping down and making a trail of crimson red path. That path which will lead her to ultimate destruction.
