Jamie Lancaster was close. She could feel it.
"Report," she snapped.
"Gunships are holding position along possible exfil routes," an officer responded. "We've set up heavy patrols—anyone tries to slip through, they'll be neutralized."
Victoria smirked. "It’s only a matter of time."
But then, alarms blared. A red light flickered on the console.
"Ma’am," the communications officer said, his voice tight with confusion. "Gunship Three is down. No distress signal, no enemy contact—just gone."
Victoria’s smirk vanished. "What do you mean, 'gone'?"

But they still had to neutralize the rest.
Jack gestured, and a second SEAL team, positioned on the opposite ridge, readied their M240B machine gun.
David and Ryan moved forward, staying low, advancing under the cover of jungle shadows. Their boots barely made a sound on the damp earth.

Her forces scrambled.
