After going through the first batch of notifications, Jay was astonished to receive a score that far exceeded his expectations. According to System Records that MJ had access to, the majority of the Omega Chosen received an Evaluation score ranging from 80 to 90.
Those who scored higher than 90 grew up to become figures who left an indelible mark on the history of the Universe. Eventually, the dividing score of 90 came to be known as the Divinity Benchmark.
Jay had given his all in the tournament's first two rounds, hoping to score around that benchmark. If it hadn't been for the Plasma Predator and the horde of monsters it brought along, he believed he might have fallen short of the Divinity Benchmark.
Despite achieving a score beyond his wildest dreams, the overall fatality rate of 72% weighed heavily on his conscience. He couldn't bring himself to see it as a good thing. The sheer number of deaths across the 1000 Trial Regions that made up the Trial World had reached a bone-chilling 6.5 million.
Despite the overwhelming strength he held, Jay felt a gnawing fear of the unexpected dangers that might arise, threats he couldn't foresee. The monster horde invasion had shattered any sense of security he had, and his faceoff with the Plasma Predator had planted a shadow of uncertainty deep within him.
The unease didn't sit well with him. How could he rest assured when his siblings were sure to be included in the Beta Program, which was just 20 days away?
By the time his brother and sister set foot on Trial World, Jay wanted to make it safe for them. The best way to eliminate any threats was to outgrow them.
With his overall stats reaching 1000, Jay found himself in a precarious situation.
mode, his ultimate trump card, was no longer accessible due to the 1st Universe Limit obstructing his progress. The frustration gnawed at him, though his face remained a mask of calm indifference.
Origin Energy, which he needed to break through the bottleneck, was beyond his reach. He required a 4% mastery but was stuck at a mere 2%. The paradox was infuriating; he couldn't advance without Origin Energy, and he couldn't gain Origin Energy without advancing. The conundrum left him with only one viable path forward.
That brought him to the second dump of System notifications.

With another Universe Level Achievement in the bag, his Universe Points climbed by 3100, bringing the total to 14,800. Yet, even this substantial increase seemed insufficient for exchanging with the Origin Glaive, the weapon he believed could resolve his dilemma.
Jay wasn't certain if obtaining the prehistoric weapon would indeed solve his problem, but a persistent hunch gnawed at him, urging him to pursue it. The feeling was unshakeable, compelling him to gather Universe Points as quickly as possible.
With no other viable options, Jay resolved to trust his instincts. He directed his focus towards accumulating points with a relentless determination.
Meanwhile, MJ's five corpse-integrated monsters continued their killing spree. Their efficiency was almost mechanical, driven by an insatiable hunger for accumulating Life Energy and Looted Stats. They roamed the now unblocked Trial Zones, hunting with ruthless precision.
If it weren't for MJ muting the monster kill notifications, Jay would be constantly bombarded with them. The corpses integrated into these monsters added a macabre edge to their already terrifying presence, making them formidable hunters.
Jay's ever-increasing stack of Life Energy didn't distract him as he scanned the updated Leaderboard.

The previous title, "Trial World Alpha Leaderboard", had been replaced by "Alpha Program Powerboard." In addition to one's level and home planet, a new metric called the Power Index was now included.
Jay understood exactly what the Power Index signified, having learned about it from MJ beforehand. A similar change occurred in every Trial Program the System had ever conducted.
Once the Alpha Prime Prospects were determined, the ranking system shifted from level-based to Power Index-based. Jay knew that the Alpha Prime Prospect was not a title reserved for a single individual but rather a position.
Anyone with a sufficiently high Power Index could become a Prospect as long as they were ranked in the Top-10. This was the System's way of reinforcing the idea that in the vast universe, only power reigned supreme.
Although the current Alpha Prime Prospects might not retain their positions by the end of the Alpha Program, they held a significant advantage over the rest. It had to do with the last bunch of reward notifications.
