Chapter 1: Really God, Matsuda? by Harem-Fan
Well shit, I'm dead...
Not gonna lie, I totally thought it would just end... nope.
Now I find myself sitting in front of Morgan Freeman, while I'm drinking Diet Coke... Don't judge me.
I had lived a normal life, had a wife and daughter.
Hmm, if I'm not wrong... I may have been in my 50's when I passed?
Not sure how I died, my name, or any of my friends names... but something tells me this is how it is supposed to be?!
"Um, So God, why do you look like a famous actor I know of?" I feel dumb for asking this, but I just can't help it."
And with the same voice as Morgan Freeman, he smiles and tells me.
"Hm, Well I don't actually look , it's just your generation that has this as my default appearance."
He chuckled at my question, and continued on before I could speak.
"Alright, I know you have lots of questions, and I will give you the rundown on what's going to happen. First... Yes I can read minds, duh! I made the Universe! If I can't read a Soul's mind, then I'm not God, right? That's a rhetorical question."
I rolled my eyes, but he went on...
"Second... Yes, all worlds exist, at least any that I'm in its legends or mythology. No, you aren't going back to your previous Earth. That life is over, and you must move on."
Okay, now I have a bad feeling.
He chuckled at my thoughts and said...
"So your body will grow-up till the age of maturity, then your past-life memories will merge with the memory your new body has done in your life without your... let's call them Earth zero memories."
He smirks a bit, and I clarify...
"Okay, just wait a moment... So you're saying, for the first years of my life, I will kinda be on autopilot?"
He smiled and confirmed...
"I think you got it, but don't worry... Even though you-he are doing your own thing, you are both the same person. I just can't have you having bad thoughts about drinking from your Mother's breasts, right? Awkward!"
I shuddered at that thought...
"Plus, if you have too much time on your hands, you may inadvertently mess up the timeline a bit... You know, trying to save some poor black cat from being experimented on or something."
Okay, that sounded weird, so I asked.
"So am I going to a world I know of?"
I figured that would help me get my feet wet, so let's see what God tells me.
"Oh, You definitely know the world you are going to! In fact, it's one of your favorite anime worlds! Just remember that it's not an anime or cartoon anymore that you will be living in, but a real flesh & blood 3-D world... But it was based on that anime."
He gave me a smirk that sent chills down my back.
God, for the first time put on a serious face and said to me...
"My Son, this isn't your 1st life, but your 21st time reviving to live anew... In a way, you have been important individuals in your past lives and worlds. However, you became emotionally tired, and had all your past lives erased up till this last life you lived in."
Gulp~! I sipped my soda, in anxiousness, as he continued.
"In a more direct definition... You are one of my Sons that I have sent around the Universe, for good or bad... You all have had a hard life. I'm only telling you this, because it's going to be important in your next life too. This is the reason you are gifted with powers the natives can never dream of. Even my children in that world will fall on their butts in surprise when they meet you."
He had a soft smile at this point.
"Um, So I'm a special Soul? What about my parents in the next life? Am I like Jesus Christ or something?!"
I started to mentally hyperventilate at the revelation God has revealed.
"Wow, I now know how Luke Skywalker felt, when Darth Vader dropped that bomb!"
"Well don't overthink things too much. Your parents in the next world will be your real parents, but your Soul was birthed from my power... You get it now?"
He then had a sip of his unknown beverage.
I guess I failed to mention the whole, we are in a white space garbage...
Wait, who am I talking to? Damn I broke down again?
"Funny you should bring up Jesus Christ... Actually, that part was played by you, many life spans ago!"
"Whaaaaat the hell are you saying?!"
Now God is just fucking with me, right?! God then answers my thoughts...
"Nope, it is very true. Don't worry, just because you are my Son, doesn't mean you have to act like a goodie-goodie or anything. In fact, I want you to live your new life anyway you see fit, it's all up to you anyway. You can be a Hero, a Villain, a Devil, or a NEET for all I care."
He then looked at his watch and said, in a joking tone...
"Well, it was a good chat we had in our 21st Prologue. Now don't worry when you wake up, you will have all the information of your new powers and how they work. Of course it will take lots of work to master everything."
At this point he had a mischievous smile, of a man that pulled a wonderful prank on his naughty child.
I started to feel my head and vision get fuzzy.
And as the image of God started to fade, he left me with some soul-wrenching words I will never forget...
"Make sure and give Rias's breasts a few big squeezes for me, okay?"
Then while I yelled, he gave me a thumbs-up!
"No, No, No, No... Please don't reincarnate me as him! Anybody but Issei!"
