Seeing their concerned expressions, Blake felt a warmth in his chest and nodded reassuringly.

Xenovia and Irina exchanged glances before bowing deeply, much to Blake's surprise.
"I didn't take it to heart. But why are you still here?"
Blake feigned confusion, tilting his head.
"Well... after learning about God's death, if we returned, we'd be treated as heretics. So, we decided to stay with Rias. Also... we want to repay our debt to you."
Xenovia spoke with a solemn expression, spreading her wings slightly.

Irina had clasped her hands in a prayer-like pose, but before she could finish, a sharp pain struck her, and she crouched down, clutching her head.
