After the sky high explosions and shockwaves, what remained was the utterly destroyed church. The ground was plowed beyond recognition, covered in fine rubble and dust.
"Hahahaha! The dragon kin truly are powerful this is exhilarating!" Kokabiel's laughter echoed as he looked at the white dragon exhaling in the sky before shifting his gaze to Blake, who stood on the ground, completely unscathed. "But the dragon-slaying act should wait until the whole cast is assembled. If you want to fight me, come to Kuoh Academy! I'll prepare the perfect stage for you there!"
As soon as his words fell, countless light swords materialized in the air, raining down in a barrage. Kokabiel himself dissolved into light and vanished.
"Tsk, annoying guy." Blake clicked his tongue, drawing Frost Whisper. With a single swing, a vertical silver arc cut through the air.
In an instant, thousands of energy swords manifested, intercepting and neutralizing the falling light swords. The collision of energies scattered dazzling particles across the sky, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
"Big Brother Blake, are you okay?"
A blur of white shot down from the sky, landing gracefully before a flash of light revealed a petite silver-haired girl in its place.
Blake smiled warmly, patting Kanna's head. "I'm fine."
Meanwhile, Xenovia and Irina stood frozen, their minds struggling to process what they had just witnessed.
The white dragon turned into a cute girl...?
Xenovia and Irina exchanged blank stares, their expressions a mix of shock and confusion.
But before they could say anything, Xenovia's face turned serious. "Kokabiel is heading to Kuoh Academy! We need to hurry, or we'll lose the Holy Sword and your friends are in danger."
Irina tried to push herself up, only to wince as pain shot through her body. Her injuries were severe, and her legs gave out beneath her.
"What can you do in that condition?" Blake stated calmly, eyeing the girls' wounds and the blood staining their pale skin. "Before anything else, you need treatment."
Hearing this, Xenovia and Irina hesitated for a moment before ultimately collapsing onto the ground, their exhaustion finally catching up with them.
He's right... Not only were they severely injured, but Xenovia had also lost the Holy Sword of Destruction, meaning their fighting ability was practically nonexistent.
Blake sighed softly, crouching beside them. "It seems your injuries are quite serious. Let me treat you."
Xenovia's brows furrowed. "You... will heal us? But we're enemies."
Despite their temporary alliance, they were still on opposite sides. Normally, this would be the perfect opportunity for Blake to take advantage of their weakened state rather than help them.
Blake, however, remained unfazed. "For now, we share a common enemy."
As he spoke, a pure white energy manifested in his palm, radiating a warmth that felt almost divine.
Xenovia and Irina's eyes widened. "Is that... holy energy?!"
Even though they weren't sure what this energy was, they could instantly recognize its purity so pure that even they, as warriors of the Church, had never possessed anything close to it.
How is this possible? A man walking alongside devils has power comparable to an archangel?!
Before Xenovia could question further, Blake placed his hand over her wound. The moment his energy seeped into her skin, a strange sensation washed over her one that left her stunned.
"This feeling... it's so weird." Xenovia murmured, shifting uncomfortably.
"Relax," Blake reassured her with a small smile. "It'll be over soon."
As his hands moved to different areas to ensure a thorough treatment, Xenovia's face turned an alarming shade of red.
"T That's...!" Her voice hitched as an unfamiliar warmth spread through her body, making her feel lightheaded.
Of course, the process was necessary for healing, but Blake's touch, combined with the energy flowing into her, created an unexpected sensation a mix of tingling relief and something else she couldn't quite describe.
For the first time, Xenovia felt oddly conscious of the opposite sex.
"You... You... what are you doing?!" Irina sputtered, her entire face flushed as she pointed an accusatory finger at Blake.
"Treating injuries." Blake's expression remained composed. "Haven't you heard? When using holy energy for healing, skin to skin contact is the most effective method."
Irina blinked, momentarily caught off guard.
It was true that holy energy could be used for healing, but no one had ever mentioned that direct physical contact was required. Yet... it was also undeniable that Blake's method was working. Xenovia's wounds were visibly closing, her skin regenerating at an astonishing speed.
Could this be some kind of special technique? Irina's thoughts grew tangled.
Blake, meanwhile, continued his "treatment" with meticulous care, letting his hands glide over Xenovia's arms, down her sides, and even across her legs.
His movements were firm yet gentle, ensuring the energy reached every damaged area.
"H Haa... Hah..." Xenovia's breath grew unsteady. "W Why do I feel... weak?"
"It's just a side effect," Blake replied smoothly. "Give it a few minutes."
Xenovia nodded, too flustered to think clearly.
Irina, on the other hand, was far less convinced. "Y Y You pervert!!"
Ignoring her protests, Blake turned to Irina next. "Now, it's your turn."
Irina tried to squirm away, but in her injured state, she had no strength to resist. Blake simply placed a hand on her shoulder, and the warmth of his energy immediately spread through her body.
"I-It's too warm... Ahh !"
Blake worked methodically, ignoring Irina's stammering protests.
"Y-You're doing this on purpose!" Irina accused breathlessly.
"Treatment requires patience," Blake said with a perfectly straight face. "You wouldn't want an incomplete recovery, would you?"
Irina's response was lost in a strangled whimper as the sensation overtook her.
For the next several minutes, the deserted ruins were filled with awkward silence interrupted only by occasional, unintentional sounds of discomfort.
When Blake finally finished, he withdrew his hands with a satisfied nod.
Xenovia lay limp on the ground, face flushed and eyes glazed. "T-That was... unexpectedly intense."
"Pervert..." Irina groaned, weakly covering her face.
Blake merely smiled. "You're welcome."
As Xenovia and Irina struggled to process what had just happened, Blake turned his gaze toward the distant Kuoh Academy.
"Alright. Time to deal with Kokabiel."
With a final glance at the two recovering warriors, he stretched his arms casually before setting off leaving the two girls too drained to do anything but watch him go.
