DxD: I Steal Luck Chapter 129

"Not good, Blake dodge quickly!" Witnessing the sudden development, Rias and her team were instantly alarmed, shouting in panic. Though they now realized Blake's immense strength strong enough to obliterate the Bomb Queen in mere moments they feared the firestorm of the Phenex flames. If struck, the result would undoubtedly be severe injuries or even death. "This farce should come to an end. While that boy has shown some impressive skills, he's still far inferior to the pureblood devils of the Underworld." "Agreed. We should start preparing what gifts to bring for the wedding of the eldest daughter of the Gremory clan and the third son of the Phenex family." In the Underworld, noble devils watching the match murmured among themselves, convinced that Blake had already lost. A collective sense of relief washed over them. Despite their usual schemes and deceptions, the devil race held a strong sense of collective honor when dealing with external threats. For a pureblood High-Class devil to lead their peerage against a lone descendant of an Magician Clan and lose would be utterly disgraceful. Among the spectators, only Serafall, Sirzechs, and other top tier figures, along with the Gremory family, remained composed, their eyes fixed on Blake's calm demeanor. Thus, when golden light suddenly flickered in Blake's right hand, materializing a resplendent sword, the knowledgeable among them were taken aback, their pupils contracting in shock. They couldn't help but rise to their feet in astonishment. On the field in the spatially expanded arena, Blake stood before the advancing firestorm, his expression unperturbed as he gripped the Holy Sword and poured massive amounts of magic power into it. In the next instant, a colossal slash of light erupted, colliding with the fiery sea amidst the stunned gazes of all onlookers. After a brief moment of stalemate, the flames of the immortal Phenex a fire so intense it seemed to scorch the sky were utterly overpowered and dissipated. The golden slash streaked across the sky toward the horrified Riser. At the last moment, he barely managed to dodge most of the attack, but a portion of his body was still struck. Merely grazing him was enough to vaporize a significant portion of his body, leaving behind horrifying injuries. To Riser's right, the arena floor and even the distant buildings were sliced apart, leaving a massive blackened scar as a testament to the sword's terrifying power. Holding the Excalibur in his left hand and the Frost Whisper Sword in his right, Blake made no further moves, instead watched calmly at Riser, whose face twisted in agony. Riser's screams echoed as he writhed on the ground, unable to endure the pain of losing nearly half his body. Rumor had it there were two ways to defeat the Phenex family's immortality: 1. Overwhelming them with immense power. However, this required strength at the level of a Satan, as only a Satan Class could crush Riser completely. 2. Attacking their mind by repeatedly killing them until their psyche collapsed. But Blake needed neither Satan-level strength nor repeated kills. With the power of Excalibur the Holy Sword, he could eradicate Riser entirely. The sword's pure light energy was like deadly poison to devils. After all, devils had always been vulnerable to holy items such as crosses, holy water, holy energy, light energy, and holy swords. However, ordinary versions of these items and most holy swords would only cause immense pain and mental anguish to someone like Riser. In the original story, Issei Hyoudou had relied on these minor methods to torment Riser into submission. But Blake had no need for such tedious tactics. The power of Excalibur was enough to erase Riser from existence completely. His so called immortality was useless in the face of his Excalibur. Watching Riser's agonized screams, Kiba swallowed nervously. Even though he wasn't the target, standing at a distance, Kiba still felt an overwhelming chill and unease. Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and the others were similarly silent, their expressions a mix of shock, relief, and, perhaps, a hint of sympathy for Riser. It wasn't just the participants in the arena. The noble devils, elders, and even Sirzechs, Serafall, and the other top figures watching were utterly speechless, their gazes locked on the dazzling Holy Sword in Blake's hand. Even Sirzechs, the Gremory family, and Serafall beings at the pinnacle of power displayed faint traces of disbelief in their eyes. Why had this legendary Holy Sword, lost to history, reappeared in this match? As the higher ups of the Underworld reeled in shock, Blake calmly approached the pale, bloodless Riser, who lay trembling on the ground. "It's time to end this," Blake declared, his tone serene. Simultaneously, the Holy Sword in his left hand radiated a pure, luminous energy that illuminated the area, making it almost blindingly bright. Riser, frozen in terror, didn't dare move a muscle, his entire body paralyzed with fear. Suddenly, a trembling yet noble voice rang out, filled with trepidation. A petite figure hurriedly stepped in front of Blake, her expression both fearful and pleading. "W we surrender. Please spare my brother!" The young girl, with golden curls and a pink-and-white dress befitting a princess, was none other than Ravel Phenex, Riser's younger sister. Her small frame trembled as she looked at Blake with tear-filled eyes, begging for mercy. "He's your brother?" Blake asked, raising an eyebrow as if in curiosity. "Y yes... My name is Ravel Phenex. Please, I beg you, spare my brother!" Ravel stammered, her voice cautious, afraid any misstep might provoke Blake into finishing Riser off 🍊 Boost This Fanfic! 🍊 Every 500 Power Stones gets 2 bonus Chapters! 🚀 Want faster updates?
