DxD: I Steal Luck Chapter 113

The night air was crisp as Blake stood in the middle of the empty street, his silver hair catching the dim glow of the streetlights. Perched on a nearby rooftop, three figures loomed above him—three women with jet-black wings, their sultry outfits doing little to hide their deadly intentions. "This guy... is really human?!" One of them, a petite blonde named Mittelt, stared down at Blake in shock. Even the strongest exorcists couldn't handle their kind so effortlessly, yet here was a so-called "ordinary student" who had just turned one of their own into a pincushion. "Forget it. We'll deal with one problem at a time," Blake muttered to himself, his gaze shifting back to the fallen angel at his feet. The arrogant suit-wearing man was now nothing more than a bleeding mess, his cocky bravado drained along with his lifeblood. "Wait, what are you—?!" Before the fallen angel could beg for mercy, several streaks of energy materialized above Blake, piercing through the man's body like a dozen invisible swords. His cries of agony were cut short as his body went limp. Mittelt snarled, her wings flaring as she prepared to lunge, but before she could launch herself, the other two grabbed her arms, holding her back. "Don't be an idiot!" One of them hissed. "His techniques are too dangerous—we need to report this to Lady Raynare first!" "Damn it!" Mittelt clenched her fists, her glare burning into Blake's calm expression. But in the end, she relented, turning to follow her comrades as they vanished into the night sky. Blake simply watched them leave, showing no interest in pursuit. "Kalawarna, Mittelt, those fallen angels from the original story? Didn't expect to run into them." Tucking his hands into his pockets, he turned and headed toward the church. Fallen Angel Headquarters—Abandoned Church Inside the dimly lit church, Raynare sat comfortably, her violet eyes glowing in the candlelight. The black-haired fallen angel was the very definition of alluring—deadly and seductive in equal measure. Before her, the three female fallen angels knelt in silence. "So, let me get this straight." Raynare's voice was smooth, but there was an edge to it. "A human killed one of our own... and instead of avenging him, you ran away?" Mittelt shifted uncomfortably but quickly responded, "Raynare, the intel was wrong! There's no way that guy is an ordinary human! The way he fought, the techniques he used... I'm sure he's a Sacred Gear wielder!" "A Sacred Gear wielder?" Raynare tapped her fingers against the armrest of her seat, deep in thought. The description of the energy-based attacks matched the powers of certain Sacred Gears. If that was the case, then— "...Forget him for now," she finally said, her voice firm. "We'll focus on the easy target first. Keep your eyes on that pervert, Issei Hyoudou. He's our real objective." The three fallen angels nodded, albeit reluctantly. Deep down, they wanted revenge—but Raynare's word was final. After they left, Raynare leaned back, a smirk playing on her lips. "That nun should be arriving soon... Lord Azazel, I'll make sure to deliver the best Sacred Gear to you." Outside, in the shadow of the old church's stone walls, Blake leaned against the cold brick, listening. "So the church plot is about to begin, huh?" he muttered under his breath. "I thought I had more time before things kicked off, but I guess fate's on fast-forward." With a sigh, he turned and walked away. "Fine. My power should be more than enough for whatever comes next." The Next Morning—Kuoh Academy The early morning sun cast a warm glow over the school grounds as students slowly trickled in. Blake strolled into the campus, feeling the usual stares from passing students. He was used to it by now—his presence stood out far too much for him to ever go unnoticed. "Good morning, Silva-san!" "Morning," Blake responded with a slight nod, acknowledging a group of girls who greeted him. Making his way to his seat, he had barely settled in when— "Silva-kun! Thank you for your guidance! I finally realize how shallow I was!" Blake stiffened. A chill ran down his spine. Slowly, he turned his head. Blake's expression twitched as he took in the bizarre sight before him. Issei, still in his usual school uniform, was standing dramatically by Blake's desk, but something about him felt... off. His expression, his posture—it was almost seductive. "Sia," Blake muttered internally. "I think I made a mistake." "Yes, Master. Sia believes so as well..." Oblivious to Blake's growing discomfort, Issei beamed. "Silva-kun, in the past two days, I've conquered five routes!" Blake blinked. "...What?" "Five routes!" Issei repeated, puffing out his chest. "Thanks to your wisdom, I've mastered the art of persuasion! The dating sim strategy works in real life!" Blake sighed and rubbed his temples. "...Issei, go back to your seat. Class is about to start." Issei faltered, clearly expecting more fanfare for his achievement. But when Blake simply waved him off, he awkwardly retreated. Across the classroom, several female students shot Issei disgusted looks. This guy, once a proud member of the "Perverted Trio," was now acting like... like he was competing for Blake's attention! Absolutely unacceptable. "Sia, I really regret this." "Yes, Master. Also, Sia believes 100 Luck Points were not worth this." Blake exhaled. "Let's just hope this madness ends soon." Tuning out the chaos around him, he closed his eyes and focused on his energy training. His aether reserves were close to reaching the level of a High-Class Devil. Just a little more, and he'd break through. For now, though, he just had to survive the day. 🍊 Boost This Fanfic! 🍊 Every 500 Power Stones gets 2 bonus Chapters! 🚀 Want faster updates?
