As the doors opened some light from the outside world shined inside the dark prison. Hearing the sound of the footsteps, a man wearing a dirty white coat opened his eyes.
It took him a few seconds to adjust to the light.
He looked very exhausted.
There were dried blood stains on his arms and legs.
"How have you been doing, Mister Doctor Wood?" Aditya asked with a smile.
He and Spencer came to see the man who was behind Rin's suffering.
He also brought Doctor Wood with him when he returned to the Dragon Palace. Before heading to the battlefield, he had someone put him in this special torturing chamber.
Now that he finally had some free time, he decided to find this Doctor.
Seeing Aditya, Wood's expression changed.
His body slowly started shaking as his expression became paler.
It was like he had seen a glimpse of his misery and pain in those Crimson glowing eyes.
Those eyes seem to be glowing in Crimson red.
Those red Dragon eyes terrified him.
As Aditya kept coming closer, he felt more fear.
He tried to move back, but the chains that tied him to the stone chair prevented him from moving even an inch.
He has been tied to this chair ever since Aditya threw him into this torture room.
"Aditya....!!!" Just one word but it was enough for Spencer to understand just how afraid he was of the Dragon Monarch.
Doctor Wood wasn't afraid of death.
Rather, if Aditya had announced that he was going to die now, he would cry out of happiness. This would mean that he would no longer need to suffer.
This means he would no longer be tortured every single hour of the day.
This means he would be free from all the future tortures, as well as the misery and pain that will come with it.
But Aditya wasn't going to give him death. From the beginning, he made what he intended to do very clear.
What Aditya wanted to do was keep torturing this man until he broke.
"How have you been doing?" Aditya asked as he stood in front of Wood.
Seeing him this close, Wood's body began shaking so much that he couldn't utter a single word.
The whole room was the size of an ordinary room. But the special thing about this room was that the whole room was completely dark and was isolated from the rest of the world.
There were runes on the room walls that prevented any sound leakage. This means that no matter how much Doctor Wood or anyone like him screamed, no one could hear anything. Even if one put their ear on the wall of the room from outside, he/she still wouldn't hear a damn thing.
The entire room was constructed from a unique material designed to absorb sound. Thus, even in the absence of runes, most sound emissions would remain contained within the room.
Spencer glanced around the room.
In the darkness, he could see blood stains all over the room.
Just next to the stone chair, he could see some severed fingers and toes. It seems the people in charge severed Wood's fingers and toes and then fed him a healing pill that regrew his severed body parts.
'There is a good reason why I hate coming here...!!' There is a reason why he avoided coming to this room.
Only a handful of people have ever come to this room.
There is a rumor among all the prisoners and the members of the Shadow Guardian that whoever spends a few days in this room forever changes.
There was a criminal who was put into this room for 7 days. While Spencer is uncertain about the fate of the criminal, he hears from several sources that the criminal's mind deteriorates, leading him to madness. Eventually, he was discovered dead in his cell.
'Since this Doctor used to conduct experiments on others, I guess his mind is tougher than others. So he should be able to last far longer than just 7 days.'
Aditya coldly stared at Wood.
The whole room was silent for a few minutes until Wood managed to gather enough courage to utter a few words.
"Just.....kill.....me!!!"
Hearing this, a cold smile appeared on Aditya's face.
"Kill you....?" Aditya took out a chair from his storage ring and sat opposite, facing the wood. Between them, there was a stone table.
On the surface of the table, there were some torturing tools.
"Killing you is like showing you mercy." Aditya continued as he curiously picked up a fork. The fork had dried blood stains on it.
"Tell me....!!"
Wood's heart stopped as those Crimson eyes looked at him. He felt something really bad was about to happen.
"Did you show any mercy to Rin?" Before he could react, Aditya appeared behind him.
Bang...!!!
He smashed Wood's head against the stone table. He made sure to control his strength as he did not want to kill him.
He roughly grabbed the back of his neck and pulled his head.
His nose was broken.
"What form of Mercy do you expect me to show you when you showed no mercy to my woman?"
Bang...!!!
He stabbed Wood's next eye using the fork.
Ahhhhh......!!!!!
Spencer looked away. This scene was too much for him.
He felt that Aditya should just end this guy's life. In the last 48 hours, this man had suffered enough.
According to what he heard, he was never alone for even an hour.
Every hour, a duo from the Shadow Guardian would come and torture him in various ways.
Some tortured him using poisons that burned his flesh from the inside and turned his skin red.
Some subjected him to potions that magnified his suffering a thousandfold. Following that, he endured various physical torments.
Some took out his eyes, severed his arms and legs, and then reattached it using a healing potion.
Aditya did not stop with one stab. He wasn't satisfied.
He kept stabbing Wood with the fork.
In the end, the fork was no longer straight or useable.
Aditya just threw the fork away while looking at Robert.
Sigh....!!!
"Tomorrow, take him to the public square. Every person who throws a stone at him will receive one silver coin." Just hearing this, Spencer shivered in fear. Even though Wood was their enemy, he still felt sympathetic toward him.
Tomorrow was going to be his worst nightmare.
"Let's leave!!" As much as he wanted to continue torturing him, he had other, more important things to do.
Once they were outside, Aditya turned to Spencer. "Feed him one of those potions that amplify pain by a thousandfold before taking him to the public square."
"If he is still not broken by the end of the day, then feed him to a group of hungry Dogs."
Aditya wasn't a heartless man. This kind of torture was more than enough. If he went down the same path as they did, then what would be the difference between them and him? Besides, Rin had let go of her past.
She has indirectly made it clear that she wants him dead, meaning she wants him to die without prolonged torture and suffering.
"Understood!!" Spencer said with a complicated look. This kind of dark side is not for him.
After being in this room, he felt he quickly needed to return home and embrace his wife for some comfort; otherwise, he would have nightmares for a few days.
"Sorry for bringing you with me even though you're not comfortable being here." Spencer was surprised that Aditya noticed his discomfort.
He understood this was one of the reasons why Aditya ended things so quickly.
"It's Alright!!"
"By the way, have you sent letters to all members of our Cosmic Tide Alliance?" Aditya cannot just let the Dune Sovereignty Empire enter the Cosmic Tide Alliance. Even if he did, others wouldn't show their dissatisfaction.
The reason for this was very simple. The Celestial Terrain and The Etheral Empire will accept whatever they decide to do due to their close relationship. The Echo Dominion Empire and others won't want to get on the Istarin Empire's bad side.

"What about the central Region announcement? Did any Empire or Faction express their dissatisfaction?" This morning, Watson announced that the Istarin Empire would take over the Central Region of the beast Continent.

Spencer chuckled while shaking his head.
"Who would dare to show dissatisfaction in front of the Dragon Monarch?"
"You're right." Both Spencer and Aditya looked at each other and just laughed.
Only through fear and dominance could he keep his Empire safe from the greedy people.
