55: Chapter 55: Counter Hijack 55: Chapter 55: Counter Hijack The two men who called themselves Brother Hu and his siblings, upon seeing Wufu approaching rapidly, were initially stunned and then burst into laughter.
“Is this girl scared silly?
If she wanted to run, she should’ve run forward, right?
Why is she running towards us instead?”
“Oh my, the little beauty is throwing herself into our arms, big brother loves you…” The older man spread his arms wide and puckered his lips as if to kiss, but before he could finish speaking, he let out a scream and was sent flying backward.
Dizzy and disoriented, what had just happened?
As he hit the ground hard, he felt extreme pain in his back, but that pain was nothing compared to the pain on his face; it felt like he had been kicked flying.
That’s right, kicked flying.
Hu Er stood dumbfounded as the girl rushed at them and then, with a flying kick, sent his older brother tumbling through the air.
This must be a dream!
Hu Er was awakened from his shock by his older brother’s angry curse.
Glancing over, he saw that girl standing there, smiling, which caused him to show his fangs.
“You’re asking for it!” Hu Er reached out with both hands, lunging at Wufu.
Seeing that they hadn’t revealed any weapons, Wufu also tucked her carving knife into her waistband and sneered, “Perfect timing, come and practice with this auntie!”
As she spoke, instead of retreating she advanced, grabbing both of Hu Er’s outstretched arms and pulling forcefully.
She performed a back flip, kicking forcefully toward his chin while landing gracefully.
Squatting on one leg and bracing herself with one hand on her knee, she watched as he flew away, her lips curving into a smirk.
Seeing this, Hu Da let out a howl and, drawing a dagger from behind his back, scoffed, “You bitch, so you’re a martial artist, too proud to accept a favor.”
Wufu’s eyes gleamed with a cold light as she thrust her foot forward, rushing at him again.
She kicked the dagger from his hand, followed by a left hook and a right hook, before clasping his head and pressing it down forcefully as her knee struck up with power.
Screams echoed to the skies.
Hu Da tried to grab Wufu, using his tall and bulky body, but she was slippery like an eel.
The moment he almost got a hold of her, she dodged with some technique, leaving him empty-handed and unable to gain any advantage.
Rather, it was he who felt toyed with like a monkey, receiving punches here and slaps there—the most despicable being the use of a crotch-kick.
Said crotch-kick was the most dishonorable move against men; a kick to the groin was excruciating, and only those who suffered it knew the agony.
Hu Da clutched his groin and collapsed onto the ground, wailing in pain.
As for Hu Er, seeing his older brother get no advantage, tried to escape when he saw the tide turning, but Wufu would not let him, blocking his path and unceremoniously making him beg on his knees.
“Auntie, please spare our lives, we simply didn’t recognize a great person when we saw one.” The brothers were kneeling on the ground, bruised and groveling for mercy.
Wufu clapped her hands and looked down at them from her higher position, “Now, hand over your money!” Her hand hurt too much from the fighting; she wanted compensation.
The robbers being robbed themselves?
This was the most absurd thing the Brother Hu’s had ever encountered in their lives.
The brothers watched helplessly as the girl emptied out their coin pouch, poured out the few pieces of silver, then ruthlessly tore up the pouch, letting the scraps of cloth fall scattered over their heads.
So utterly miserable.
“From now on, when you see this auntie, walk around me!” Wufu threw the silver into her basket, huffed a warning, and went on her way.
Still seething with anger, Brother Hu picked up the dagger and wanted to chase after her, but Hu Er quickly pulled him back, “Brother, let it go, she’s a monster, the Black Mountain Old Demon, we’re no match for her.”
Wasn’t she just a monster?
She looked like a fragile little girl, yet how had she beaten them up?
Hu Da felt his groin pulsing with pain again, and thinking of the silver taken from him, he saw his life as bleak and hopeless.
