*Suhas Pov*
She is hurt! She is hurt thinking the way I married her with some stupid motive and also thinks that I don't love her.
But even if I tell her that I do love her, I can't remove the feeling in her mind that I may not love her like I love her sister.
Truth to be told at present, I feel like I never loved Kavya like ever. I mean, I was able to stay away from her completely, and I didn’t even get her thought everyday.
What I thought every day is the nightmares which I am getting started because of my dad. So did I even love her at that time?
Because now when Navya said she needs a break, I felt like I am going to miss something completely in my life. I feel like I need to do everything not to miss it.
And now I know what I will miss even if she stays away from me. She became important to me more than myself. And I will not lose her, but also will not stay away from her.
I fear she will realize somehow that she actually doesn't love me and may even decide to leave me completely. I will give her the space, but will not leave her alone.
"What are you thinking?" Mom asked entering my room in the night.
"Mom! You are talking to me." I said in shock.
"I am! Now, tell me what are you thinking?" She asked again.
"I am just thinking how stupid I am. I am thinking how much I love my wife more than anyone in this world." I replied smiling.
"More than me?" She asked gasping.
"Maybe!" I replied, smiling, knowing her.
She smiled and said, "I am glad that you do, but what about your first love?"
"I don't know it is my first love or not, but in front of the love, I am feeling for Navya it is nothing." I replied honestly.
"I am glad that you realized it. Now what are you going to do?" She asked, frowning and smiling at a time.
"I have something in my mind. Now tell me why didn't you talk to me all these month's, Mom?" I asked her frowning.
"Because I am just hurt by your plans and that too against a kind heart." She replied in a serious tone.
"You know?" I asked her shocked and embarrassed.
"I know!" she replied.
"I am just like him, right?" I asked her sighing.
"Suhas! That's what I don't want you to think. I stayed back not coming to Mumbai so that you will get to know yourself that you are completely normal person and can lead a normal life like you always wished." She replied shaking her head.
"That was the reason?" I asked her shocked.
"Yeah, and also so that you will get to know Navya and stop all these plans." She replied.
I walked near her and hugged her saying, "Thank you so much, Mom."
"Children shouldn't say thanks to Moms. Now come on have some food." She said, and we both went downstairs.
When I entered the dining hall, I saw Navya sitting calmly looking at the food in front of her. I chuckled at her expression, and she glared at me.
"Navya! I asked you to start eating right?" Mom asked sitting beside her.
She must be waiting for me! I thought and started to sit beside her, but she threw me a glare.
"I am waiting for you, mom." She replied smiling at her.
I frowned and sat in front of her. We three served for ourselves and started eating. They both talked to each other completely ignoring me.
I cleared my throat and continued to do it for a few minutes looking at my food. They didn't budge, but continued to talk.
"Great!" I said out loud and started eating.
They didn't even look at me when I said it. I sighed and finished eating along with them. They started washing the plates and cleaning the table while I stood near the stairs.
"Mom! I will finish this. You go and take a rest." Navya said, and Mom left to go inside her room.
I looked at Navya to see that she is cleaning the table, and her back is towards me. I walked near her and hugged her from behind.
She continued to do her work like she expected this and didn't say anything to me. I kissed on her neck, but still there is no change.
"What are you doing, Navya?" I asked her pulling her completely back from the table.
"I am taking a break from my husband. So you are actually not here in this house with me." She replied making me stun.
"So I am not here right." I mumbled and turned her towards me.
She didn't even glance at me and looked around me. I smiled and started bending so that she will look at me, but she didn't.
So I kissed her and thought that she would kiss me back. But she didn't so I started kissing her more thinking she will do it.
"Navya! You too need to rest." I heard my mom shouting, making me step back from Navya immediately.
As for Navya, she just cleared her throat from laughing and rushed inside mom's room. Then when I started climbing the stairs, I heard them laughing.
Definitely great! I thought, shaking my head and lay down on the bed alone.
She is very bad! She just spoiled me and now I can't sleep here alone. I sighed and then thought about my plan to make everything right.
I called him and asked his help to which he accepted more than happily. Then I closed my eyes to try to sleep holding the pillow.
*Navya Pov*
"So did you sleep well?" He asked in a hoarse voice entering the kitchen, and I looked at Mom smiling.
"Yeah! She did. Why?" Mom asked him, frowning.
"Nothing!" he mumbled and left the room.
After he left, she laughed along with me as we already had a talk about his sleeping issues. We immediately stopped when he entered again, glaring at us.
"You guys are cruel!" he said, looking at us.
"Not more than you." I mumbled and continued to prepare the breakfast.
"Suhas! What are you still doing here? You have an office in Mumbai if you forgot." Mom said in a stern voice.
"I took leave for a few days." he mumbled and left the room.
"So you are going to torture him like this then." She said, and I gasped at her innocently but we both ended up laughing again.
"Mom! Please come with us when we both return. We really need your presence." I said, holding her hand.
"I will! But after you both settle your issues." She said, making me smile at her.
After that I started to dust the living room and the rooms a little even though she protested. These are the general things I do, and I can't stop them.
Then I went inside his room to dust, which I started doing properly until he suddenly picked me up coming from behind and plopped us both on the bed.
"What are you doing?" I asked him shocked.
"Who are you talking to, Navya? I am not in this house right?" He asked teasingly and started kissing my cheeks and then lips.
"You are not here!" I replied and tried to move away from him, but he stopped me completely caging me in his arms.
He started pestering his kisses along my jaw and neck. I fisted the sheet in my hands not to react to them.
He stopped and looked at me saying, "You really can live without me for a few day's right? But I can't Navya, so understand me."
"I am asking just few days, Suhas. Then I will accept all the things, which are paining me now, and we can live normally." I said sighing.
"I can understand, but I really can't stay away without seeing you or holding you even one day." He said looking at me with passion.
"Why?" I asked him.
"Hmm... you will know that after a few days." He said winking.
I looked at him frowned and pushed him to move away from him. He did allow me to move away, and I left the room.
Like he said after a few days he came near me when I am sitting on the couch along with Mom. He came near me completely with a blank look and held his right hand out to me.
I placed my left hand in his, but he shook his head and signaled me towards my right. So I placed my right hand.
He shook my hand and said, "From now onwards we are not husband and wife."
"What?" I shouted at him in shock.
"With this handshake, we both are not husband and wife anymore." He replied, and I am surprised that I didn't faint.
