The ground beneath them was wet and slippery. With the weight of two adults, each footstep squelched into the mud, squeezing out murky water. In the quiet woods, only the sound of their splashing footsteps echoed.
Wu Guifang's breath grew hotter, tickling the nape of Liu Ergou's neck. He had to fight the urge to throw her on the ground and take her right then and there.
"Auntie, did you just wet yourself?" Liu Ergou snorted. "You're a grown woman and you're still wetting your pants? Have you no shame?"
This woman… always looking down on him just because her husband was the village chief. She called him a country bumpkin and said he wasn't good enough for her daughter, Hui Hui. And now? Not only was she begging him to carry her down the mountain, but she'd even pissed herself on his back. What a joke.
"Er Gou, don't you dare say another word!" Wu Guifang shrieked, unable to save face now that he'd called her out. She immediately tried to shift the blame. "If it weren't for you, do you think I would have lost control? Now my pants are soaked. So, what are you going to do about it?"
But as she spoke, she suddenly let out a soft cry. Her entire body went limp on Liu Ergou's back as if all her strength had been drained away. She pressed herself even tighter against him, her sharp, unforgiving tongue finally losing its usual fight.
"Er Gou, didn't I promise you twice?" Her voice was low. "How about... we do it right now?"
Wu Guifang had completely given in. Smelling the masculine scent of his sweat, she felt as if ants were crawling all over her skin. She didn't want to wait until tonight. Besides, out here in the wilderness, no one would ever see them.

Her foot wasn't hurting anymore, but why should she trudge down this muddy, slippery path when she could be carried? Besides, if she didn't let him carry her, how was she supposed to make her move on him? She'd stumbled upon such a golden opportunity; if she didn't savor it, all her anticipation on the way down the mountain would be for nothing.

That woman and her damn mouth never stopped. She was getting so full of herself. If he didn't teach her a lesson now, he might never get a better chance.
"Er Gou, don't go..." she pleaded. "I can't walk... Er Gou, come back! You bastard, get your ass back here, do you hear me?!"
Wu Guifang's furious roar echoed through the forest. But Liu Ergou paid her no mind, only walking faster.
Wu Guifang gritted her teeth, seething. She was torn between her pride and the sinking realization that she could never make it down the mountain alone.
"Liu Ergou, get back here," she called out, her voice strained. "I can... do it for you right now... You..." She finally broke. "I'm begging you! Is that good enough?"
Wu Guifang was so dizzy with rage she felt like she could chew his bones to pieces. She tried to console herself. She was only begging because he'd forced her to! It wasn't because she was actually lusting after him! Absolutely not!
"Begging me for what?" Liu Ergou's voice drifted back from up ahead.
"Begging you... to do... me!" Wu Guifang forced the words out, utterly humiliated.
The moment the words left her mouth, even someone as thick-skinned as her wanted to find a hole in the ground and crawl into it.
"Say it again, all in one sentence," Liu Ergou demanded, turning around and walking back to stand before her, his gaze cold.
"Er Gou... I'm begging you to do me..." Wu Guifang said through gritted teeth.
Having said it once, the second time didn't feel quite so mortifying. A towering resentment filled her heart. She prayed Liu Ergou wouldn't disappoint her later! Otherwise, there were plenty of ways she could make his life difficult in the future.
Liu Ergou hoisted her onto his back again and carried her toward a cave off to the side.
On this drizzly day, the inside of the cave was pitch-black. After being set down on the ground again, Wu Guifang suddenly feigned coyness, but her throat bobbed with wild anticipation for what was to come.
Liu Ergou put down his basket and contemptuously ripped open her collar.
Overcome with excitement, Wu Guifang swallowed hard. After Liu Ergou cursed her a few more times inside the cave, she finally became completely submissive, even stripping off her own clothes.
"Wu Guifang, you're just asking for a scolding!" he said, looking at her coldly. "Will you ever dare to call me a country bumpkin again?"
"I won't... I won't dare again!" she stammered. "Er Gou, can you stop nagging and be a man already?" she urged, clearly dissatisfied.
She turned her back to him, placating him with her words as she knelt on the ground.
"What's the rush?" Liu Ergou was enjoying her current state. So much for acting high and mighty. So much for looking down on everyone. Now she was as obedient as a dog, forced to listen to his every command!

Just then, an urgent voice cried out from outside the cave.
