Kat POV
I hear the car pull up in the drive way. I run out to see how Reese is doing. I have been worried sick since Roman left. I was relieved when he called but her was so vague about what happened.
I rush out to her. She is covered in blood and obviously upset. She holds on to Thomas. He carries her past me. I dare not bother the two of them. I can get all of the details from Roman.
I rush to Roman. I throw my arms around him. I cannot hold him enough. "I was so worried," I say as I begin kissing him over and over.
"I know you were," He says kissing me back as many time as I kiss him.
He scoops me up and carries me in to the house.
"Put me down," I say to him.
"I cannot carry my beautiful wife in to the house," Roman demands.
"Of course you can you big dummy. Drop me off in the kitchen so we can talk," I say to him.
He carries me in to the kitchen and sets me down. "I will get a bottle of wine and we can talk about what happened," Roman says.
"From the looks of Reese break out the whiskey," I say to him.
He reaches past the wine and grabs a bottle of Crown Royal from the wine cabinet. He sets it down on the table. He gets two glasses out of the cabinet and puts ice in both. He sits down next to me.
"What happened? Where you in any danger? Is Benton dead?" I ask quickly.
"Benton is dead, but I did not kill him, she did. He drained her of almost all of her blood from what i can make sense from her. He offered her a blood bag when she was almost dead. She took it then attacked him," Roman says.
I can tell there is more. "Good for her. Why does she look so bad?" I ask him.
"You know Reese does not feed on humans. Well she took out the staff and fed on all of them when they would not let her leave. I think her body is in shock," Roman says.
"That poor thing," I say.
"Kat, she will be fine. She needs to adjust to every thing that happened. Thomas will take good care of her," Roman says.
"I know he will," I say.
"I want them to stay here for a while if that is okay with you," Roman says.
"You know I would never turn my back on Reese. She can stay here as long as she wants to be here," I say.
"I know that you are okay with her being here. I do not want to put us in any kind of bind. I mean you sacrifice a lot to take care of Reese, but you are my number one priority," Roman says.
"Roman I love you and I love Reese. Hell, I even love Thomas. I want the two of them to be safe. As long as they need to be here, I want the two of them here. She will eventually be able to stand on her own two feet," I say to him.
"How in the hell did I get so lucky to find some one like you Kat Chambers?" Roman asks me as he leans in to kiss me.
"Well, i guess you were just lucky," I say to him.
"I certainly am," Roman says.
As we sit in the kitchen talking Thomas comes in to the kitchen. "Hey, do i need to feed her or wait? I have no idea what to do. She is very limp and tired," Thomas say.
"It is her way of dealing with things. She sleeps when she is upset," Roman says to Thomas.
"Sugar grab her a blood bag, see if she will eat. If not just lay with her. All she really needs is to know you are there for her," I say to Thomas.
"I guess you are right. I am only worried about her and her state of mind," Thomas says.
"Reese is strong, she will be fine," Roman says.
Thomas grabs a blood bag and warms it for Reese. He takes a shot of whiskey from the table. "For my nerves," Thomas says as he leaves the kitchen.
"Why don't we take this bottle and go back to bed," Roman says.
"Are you trying to get me drunk and have your way with me Mr. Chambers?" I ask Roman.
"Yeah, I think I am," Roman says to me.
"Well, you do not have to get me drunk, I am ready and willing to participate," I say to Roman as I hop over in to his lap.
"What you want me to carry you?" Roman says as he rubs me legs.
"Yeah, I have had a rough night, I think I need to be carried," I say to him.
He pulls my body into his arms cradling me. He kisses me softly and stand up while holding me. He carries me to our bed room.
He lays me on the bed and lays on top of me between my legs. He kisses me so softly as he rubs my body. Roman can be the sweetest lover.
"I was scared tonight," I tell him.
"I know you were. I am sorry I made you stay behind, but I would never put you in any kind of danger," Roman says to me.
"I know, and I love you for loving me that much," I say to him.
He continues kissing my lips so softly. He kisses me like he thought he would never see me again and now he is trying to get as many kisses as he can to make up for it.
"I love you Kat," Roman says to me.
"I know you love me Roman, and I love you too. Now quit fucking around and fuck me," I say to him.
