"Hey" a shadow loomed over the canopy of a child's bed, trying to wake up the sleeping princess unceremoniously in the middle of the dark hours.
When the child remained unfazed, the boy poked his fingers onto her chubby cheeks making her flutter open her eyes in alarm giving out a cry.
"Shhhh! Little devil you will wake up the whole mansion." A boy of nine years scolded the girl making her pout in agitation as big tear drops rolled down her face.
Aurora give a cry again ignoring the warning of the hazel eyed boy watching her in irritation.
His palm shut her mouth, eyes warning in advance of keeping her voice down.
"I am going to assign you a task... It will make dad happy. I would have done it myself but I thought why not include you too."
That shut the girl up for good, her eyes twinkled and tears stopped as if a switch was turned on. Ares watched Aurora's facial expressions and put away his palm.

The mansion was in uproar, all the servants trembling in fear were lined in an order, not only Ajax's wrath was on it's extreme but Alaina's clenched jaw depicted how severe the situation was.
Ares stood silently in a corner watching his father and mother more furious than ever celebrating like the devil he was.
"I-is this..... Is this m-meant to make papa happy?"
Ares twirled the keys to the forbidden chamber in his fingers displaying a crooked smile.
"Ofcourse little devil, the servants were too insincere today, all the trash files were kept on dad's desk and all the important ones were discarded in the backyard.
Now Dad has to get up early tommorow in stress and worry, tear all papers here and throw them in backyard while bring back the important ones.
All I ask you is that you take all of them ,one by one, put them in shredding machine while I go back to search for the files and bring them back here."
" B-but-"
" It's fine if you don't want to do it, we can leave it and tommorow dad will severely punish the ignorant servants-"
"No! I will do it." Ares smirked.
"Go on then. Take these keys and unlock the door."
All the deals signed by various Mafia nations were in ruins. The papers turned to pieces of trash.
Ajax's chamber was one of the most forbidden places in the mansion, yet someone dared to enter his lair and destroy everything he had taken years to work for.
His dark eyes scrutinized every single person present in the hall except his wife. Alaina was the only person allowed inside that room and also the only person who was far furious than him.
She rarely lost her cool, always remaining calm and placed but right now her eyes were smoldering flames of hell.
The woman picked up her porcelain cup of coffee sipping it while her sharp gaze took them all in one by one softening to a feather touch as soon as she heard a small yawn from behind.
Small footsteps were dragging themselves on the floor as another yawn escaped her daughter's lips.
"Mum, dad what do we have in breakfast?"
As if nobody was watching her incredulously, Aurora remained naive to the thundering clouds looming over her head as she tried climbing up the tall chair to sit failing like she did every single day.
Ajax's face twitched, lips trying hard not to curve up with how adorable she was as Alaina pulled Aurora up beside her, serving the girl her favourite strawberry milkshake and a proper breakfast.
Ares straightened his back, leaving his position, walking and talking his place right beside Ajax.
"Do you know what is the punishment of deceiving me?" Ajax maintained his voice calm for his children, not wanting their innocent eyes to witness his demonic side.
But the murderous aura made Aurora shuffle closer to him seeking safety, Ajax's palm making contact with her small head, patting gently
How ironic it was truly that even when he was the danger she seeked him for safety.
For the first time since she woke up, Aurora felt something wrong was going on looking up to her mother to find assurance
Several maids cried out while other trembled uncontrollably.
A guard came running inside the silent grandeur, his eyes wide with disbelief as he watched Aurora sitting innocently. He removed his eyes from the daughter of the Devil as soon as he could.
"Boss... You should see this."

"Miss Aurora, sir has asked for me to escort you to the office." The maid named Jenelle took Aurora's arm pulling her down from the bed and dragged her gently behind herself.
Aurora who was much innocent to know what had gone wrong meekly followed the girl. Although she didn't completely understood what had transpired, she definitely realized that what she had done yesterday night wasn't a good deed.
"Ma'am" Jenelle bowed her head lightly and put Aurora's trembling hand in the soft palm of her mother who looked at her teary eyed baby in anguish.
Alaina bent down picking Aurora up, settling her down on her waist. Aurora didn't wasted a moment and burst out crying burying her face in Alaina's chest.
She thought that she had done something so terrible that now her father and mother would leave her to the place she came from.
Sadness filled Alaina's heart when she saw her only daughter crying, she cooed.
"My pretty princess, why cry.. hmm? Don't you want to have lunch with me, I made cake for you.... You like cakes right baby?"
Aurora believed that the soothing voice of her mother could even change harsh winter's to full blown spring.
Just as her father's temper cooled down as soon as her mother said a word, her anxiety and fears too would be long forgotten in her arms.
"I am sorry m-mum."the girl continued to release tears.
"What is your name sweetheart? Tell me whose clan do you belong to?"
Aurora's eyes opened, the crying bring ceased for the time being as she watched her mother looking at her as lovingly as she always did. Not an ounce of anger present in them.
"I am Aurora Ajax Waylon. I-I am the mafia princess of Waylon empire and heiress of Strom empire...?"
The lines she was taught everyday were sprouting out of her mouth like honey but the last statement came out more as a question.
Was she even deserving to be called such things when she can't even make her parents proud.
"Yes, that will remain true till the last star in the sky dims. But most importantly you are the daughter of Ajax Waylon and Alaina Waylon...that is what you need to remember above all."
Aurora saw her mother speaking those words and her heart filled with love and respect.
"Now your father is waiting for you...go run little baby."
Alaina tickled her daughter making her squeal in laughter, the girl jumped down laughing and ran away.
