“ROSE, I AM ASKING YOU ONE LAST TIME, WHY THE FUCK WERE YOU CHASING THAT INTRUDER?”
Calix roared and shook Rose violently but as usual, he got no response.
Once that intruder absconded, Calix continued questioning Rose about his identity but she didn’t open her mouth not even for once. She kept mum the whole time, infuriating Calix.
Pushing her away, he screamed in frustration. He was trying hard not to hurt her although his demons were compelling him to let them out. Her defiance was not only making him angry but sad that even after staying with him under one roof for so many days, she still doesn’t trust him an ounce bit. She was hiding a stranger from him and was trusting him more than him. He could be dangerous but she was ready to opt for that risk rather than expose the truth to him.
Running a hand through his unruly raven hair, Calix took a deep sigh before looking at Rose who was staring at the floor quietly.
“You want it to be done in a harder way, fine then. Let me enlighten you Rose that this matter isn’t related to only you but to my whole kingdom. And being the minister and commander of the Binnazun Dynasty, if I had to force my beloved and drag her to court to spill the truth, I wouldn’t hesitate to do that.” He gritted making Rose gulp in fear.
Rose flinched hard when Calix abruptly grabbed her right hand and pulled her towards himself. Grabbing the back of her head, Calix pressed his lips on her, giving her a chaste kiss. A yelp slithered through her pink lips which was swallowed by him. Rose mewled in disgust but he only tightened his hold on her and deepened the kiss. She opened her mouth to scream but his tongue beat her to it as it prodded her mouth, taking her breath away. When she started feeling lightheaded, only then did he pull away making her inhale oxygen greedily.
Calix lifted her chin with his index finger and looked into her teary eyes while breathing heavily.
“Now, you won’t be able to hide whomever you’re trying to, babe. I was trying to be lenient on you because I am very well aware that you won’t be able to deal with my devious side. But it seems like you like when I get rough on you,” he snickered while rubbing his thumb on her swollen lips. But his gaze turned dark as night when Rose shot him a hateful glare.
“I never asked anything from you. It was you who barge into my peaceful life, riving my dreams to shreds, and demanded my submission. But let me make it clear to you, I ain’t afraid of you, neither of Zachary nor of any other demon. I had enough of your nonsense. Now I will do whatever I want to and you won’t be able to stop me. Be it defying your orders or be it hiding a stranger.”
She snapped but a scream left her mouth when Calix fisted a chunk of her hair and gave it a harsh tug. Rose bit her lips, stifling her cry but she couldn’t hold back the tears that started sliding down her cheeks as she gazed into his burning sapphire hues.
“You don’t speak that way to me woman. I wouldn’t take a second to evoke the truth from you but I am only forbidding myself for your sake”, he gritted and pulled her hair hard making her face the ceiling. Burying his face in her crook, Calix took a big whiff of her mild fragrance. Rose started trembling like a leaf but her heart dropped to the pit of her stomach when she felt him grazing his canines on the throbbing vein of her neck.
“You had already confronted my monster once. Do you think I am incapable of forcing the truth out of you?“, Calix whispered while rolling his tongue over the purplish bruises on her neck.
“N-No”, Rose cried and tried pushing him off. He then wrapped his other hand around her waist tightly to pin her on point. Kissing her left temple, he tilted his face to the side and started leaving open-mouth kisses on her earlobe.
“If I want, I would tie you to my bed and tear every single cloth on your body leaving you completely bare and shivering under my mercy,” Calix sneered while his tongue kept bathing her ear. Rose gripped his white coat between her fingers tightly and closed her eyes feeling his lips sucking every inch of her skin.
“Don’t forget I am a demon, Rose. The demonic side of me would love to see your naked self writhing beneath me, your lips leaving loud moans and screaming my name when I would pound inside you, hard, deep, and raw. No one will be able to save you from me if I make up my mind once,” he growled while sucking her cleavage.
A cold shiver ran down her spine. Rose started sobbing hard as she was not only repulsed by his words but frightened to the core.
Calix is right though. He forcefully made her leave her hometown, separated her from her sister, and took her first kiss yet she couldn’t do anything. What power does she hold over him? Nothing. He had already deprived her of her freedom and now if he snatches her dignity, she would die.
Rose respected ethics, values, and morals more than anything. She had lived her life with principles and dignity yet, she was being punished. And now this monster was talking so casually about defiling her. Her ears almost bled by his sinful words.
But the fact which was dreading her was what if it turns into a reality? She would never be able to face her conscience. Moreover, what would she tell Jasmine? What impact she would leave on the girl who had always admired her and saw her as her role model? Her blood turned cold as the worst possibilities of her future started flooding her mind. Jasmine was a Queen now and if this happens, she would die of shame. She had already been going through hell there. Theodore already doesn’t respect her and now when people would come to know that a demon kidnapped her sister, raped her, and then left her at their doorstep, they would shower the sisters with profanities, call them a black spot, an abomination, and what not? And what if her sister starts hating her for this? She would die.
Rose blanched in horror. She started pushing his shoulders, punching his chest, and screaming like a madwoman.
“But you know I won’t do this.”
Her struggles died down as soon as Calix said that and before she could react, he detached himself from her and looked at her.
His gaze turned soft when he stared into her bloodshot eyes. He had no idea that his words would terrify her to this extent. Taking a deep breath, Calix ran his fingers through his locks before looking at her sternly.
“I don’t know how to make prove my love to you. To be honest, I am tired of seeing your distrust in me and seeking ways to get away from me. But remember Rose, you may give up on your love but I won’t. I would keep trying till the end of time until and unless I win your heart. I know you won’t listen still I would like to request you something.”
He said and then took a step ahead making her immediately move backward. But Calix was fast as he grabbed her hands and looked at her sadly.
“Please remove the blinds of fear from your eyes. Only then you’ll be able to see my sincerity for you. I know I did wrong with you but please give me one chance and I will prove to you that I am the only man who loves you the most in this whole universe.”
He said and wiped her tears with his fingers. Rose didn’t reply to him and kept staring at him with wide eyes.
“I am changing Rose; trust me I wasn’t like this before. You changed me. You introduce me to a newer version of me who is kind, understanding, and humble. I ain’t like this Rose but I am trying hard. So, please just for once stay with me and cooperate. I know this world is not for you yet I brought you here for my selfishness. But don’t plan any revenge, Rose. At least not right now. Trusting these demonic creatures is equivalent to digging your own grave. They could be our enemies who are finding ways to get to us. I beg you, please don’t do anything stupid. It would not only harm us but you too. And I won’t be able to forgive myself if anything happens to you.” Calix spoke and cupped her face in her palms. He then planted a soft kiss on her forehead making her close her eyes. Shooting her a soft smile, he then turned around and left while closing the door softly behind him.
Rose continued staring in space while her mind kept playing the previous incidents like a broken record.
