Chapter 7
The gnomes were losing the fight and their soldiers was really reducing in number as they face the angry warriors of the dark world in their full powers,the gnomes were half the vampires in power the only advantage they have is their poisonous fangs and claws which can kill any dark world soldier in twenty four hours. The gnomes seeing that they are losing the battle started to retreat because the more they fight,the more the dark world soldiers become stronger,they all transform back to their normal bodies and they each went to put on some clothes.
"Now,can we have the scroll, peacefully" General Richard said licking his blood stained lips,"or should we continue from where we stopped" he continued with a smirk on his face.
"Ok, fine,you can have what you came for,but remember that I will never forget this, your faces are marked" Goran said with anger in his tone
"Blah blah blah blah blah,just give me the damn scroll" Kyle said and hijacked it from his hands.
"Mission complete,can we go home now" Breel said as he turned to make his leave
"We were not opportune to fight against each other but we will see again Richard Vladimir" Marcel said causing them to freeze at the spot
"Vladimir" They all said in unison
"See you again brother,Marcel Vladimir" Richard said with gritted teeth and turned to leave and the rest followed him.

General Dwight said some Latin words and a white light started forming gradually, really slowly. They all heard yelling sounds and coming from the gnome's kingdom direction only to be welcomed with thousands of soldiers running towards them with swords,they were pretty fast in running though not like the wolves and vampires
"I knew Goran had something up his sleeves,they are twenty meters closer to us" Arthur said with panic clearly visible in his shaking voice
"KYLE!!!"Breel shouted seeing a spear flying towards his direction, Kyle turned slowly to see the spear few inches to his heart,he froze and closed his eyes waiting for the spear,but Breel was too fast as he pushed Kyle down but he was unlucky,the spear pierced his right arm causing it to bleed,he winced in pain.
"You are injured,gnomes poison" Kyle said with care in his tone.
"Come on lads,they are closing in on us" General Richard said stretching his hands for them to reach out to him
"The portal is opening, let's go,one at a time" Rufus shouted for them to hear his voice
"You heard him, let's go" Kyle said
"We can't make it there" Breel said faintly "go on,I will be behind you but let me hold them down for a little bit time" he continued
"No way in hell am I letting you go,you just saved my fucking life"
"Enough talk, Kyle get into the fucking portal!!!" Breel yelled,he felt an arrow fly few inches past his eyes and he turned back and saw that they are really close "we've only got thirty seconds for the portal to close and you are with the scroll,so I won that means you have to go" Breel said with a smirk and pushed Kyle into the portal, Kyle didn't see that coming but he heard his voice faintly saying "don't come back for me,I will be fine".
"Now I have to keep this bastards occupied for thirty seconds" Breel said with a grin plastered on his face,he clenched his fist and yelled he hit the ground in anger and hit the ground in anger causing it to crack and a wave pushed back the gnomes with an unimaginable force,those who were in front were not so lucky as they all sustained a critical injury.
"Now that will buy me time,ten seconds remaining" he look back and smiled as he saw the portal closing up slowly,he turned to the direction where the gnomes were coming from
"These filthy bastards don't get tired" he said irritatingly as he saw the gnomes running faster than ever ,he shrugged his shoulder and smiled,he has succeeded in buying time for the portal to close
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!" , Breel heard a voice yell loudly,he turned to look at the direction where the voice was coming from but he felt a fist connect to his jaw and he fell down
"Marcel" he muttered under his breath and smiled the portal was closed,Marcel took him up and raised him high in the air, choking him in the process, her dropped him down hard on the ground causing a thud to be heard.
"Pick him up and take him to the dungeon,we are going to interrogate him the hardest way with all type of punishment available....your only way out is to tell me what they want with the prophecy"Marcel asked and squatted beside him
"Ask me once again,you son of a b*tch" Breel said and spat blood on from his bloody mouth to his face,and Marcel struck him hard across the face in anger
"Pick him up" He said and hit him on the face with his boot and he blacked out,four gnomes picked him up and tied him up with platinum chain.

"Son of a bitch" Kyle said angrily after he woke up from what feels like forever,he focused all his anger on a tree which he kept hitting and kicking angrily,he hit with a powerful blow which he focused all his anger on and hit the tree which just fell down with a thud "don't come back for me,I will be fine" he remembered his last word as it kept echoing in his head.
They all sat down looking devastated,nobody wants to talk,there was a moment of silence until Rufus broke the silence,
"He was a good kid,he always speak with boldness in his voice,I admire his courage to stay back and fight,he sacrificed his life for us,if not they would have followed us here and the dark world soldiers ain't ready for that" Rufus said in clear sad tone
"He took an arrow for me,it was laced with gnomes poison I could smell it,I heard the sadness in his tone,he was trying to hide it but I felt it,we are much enemies than friends,I wonder why he did that and he knew he is not going to make it,his last words I quote"don't come back for me, I will be fine",I wish that was not the last of him I would hear" Kyle said he felt the sadness in him,this was the first time he felt emotional in years,an enemy just gave up his life for him,it was something he would never forget
"Let's go home" General Kaleb said drawing Kyle out of his thoughts
"Yh" General Richard said and stood up dusting his body off dirts,he picked up his bag and they all pick their bags
"We are going to have to burn his belongings in a week time" Dennis said wiping off the tears on his face with the back of his palm.

They all stepped into the Crescent Moon Hall and saw the dark world leaders sitting around the table,they walked down there trying to put on a mask of happiness but they know deep down that they perform woefully just losing one of them though he might not be a vampire or wizard but he just sacrificed his life for some people that he barely know.
"We completed it,this is the scroll" General Richard said putting on a fake smile and stretching his hands to the table,he knew that you can't mask feelings for hundred of years supernatural when the question hit him surprisingly "where is Breel?"It was asked by the Alpha.
"We lost him......he sacrificed himself" those were the words that fell off Wade's mouth

"I will deliver the message to the wolves pack especially..." Jason was cut off
"Emily" Kyle completed the words for him.
"Which message do you want to deliver to me" Emily said as her lips twitch in anxiety making them to freeze at the spot "and where is Breel,I can't seem to find him anywhere" she continued getting bored of their silence
"That's because he is not coming" Jason dropped the bombshell
"What do you mean" she asked praying secretly in her mind that their answer is not what she thinks "Answer me!!!" She yelled
"He is d...e..a...d" Jason said while stammering
"No!!,it can't be possible!!!" She yelled causing the earth to shake at it's impact "he will come back to me alive,he promised and he always keep his promise"she said,as her voice was breaking down,she left,she could no longer contain the pain and she yelled and sobbed all through the night.
