The moonlight from above stretched Bob’s shadow long, one half of his face concealed in darkness, his expression grim with a tinge of excitement.
“How did you know it was me?”

In the light of the waning moon, a slender figure squatted on a branch.
Despite the backlight making it difficult to see the figure’s face, the familiar oppressive aura allowed Roger to recognize the person’s identity.
He stepped back slightly, adjusting his direction.
“You’ve finally arrived, Ivy.”
The slender figure dropped from the tree.
In the moonlight, her blue skin seemed almost sacred.
“Seeing this kid dead makes me relieved.”
Roger was slightly taken aback.
“Relieved about what?”
Ivy’s scales trembled softly.
“That you were able to kill him shows that the hunter who has been following you around…”
