“Is this all you have?”
Henrik frowned, “I thought maybe you had some transcendent parents or something. After all that effort, this is all you tell me?”
Henrik glared with an unmistakable look of dissatisfaction.
He pulled out his pistol and jabbed it forward.
Hannam’s eyes widened in terror, apparently foreseeing what was to come, and he desperately shrank back.

Roger’s right hand, which was holding the dagger, slowly relaxed. This was good, no need for him to act; he had thought Henrik would spare the man.

Roger also became tense.
